Great show - better than Hammerstein in my opinion, despite the larger venue. I got MOTP, Wish and Burn - I'm all set!

yes, this was certainly an awesome show. i had a great time at the hammerstein shows because of the smaller venue...but it seemed--even from way up high in the bleachers--like the guys had more energy tonight, especially aaron...christ that man is insane on the guitar.

and it was great to hear an entire arena sing along to the quieter songs, like "Hurt" and "Something I Can Never Have." So, have you all noticed that during these "torch songs," people are waving more cell phones than lighters these days...it makes for an interesting aesthetic...lots of flames and little blue lights.

i jotted down the song names as they got played, so i can confirm that the setlist someone posted above is accurate.

what did everyone make of the visuals, especially the ones on the screen during the midset cooldown? lots of war imagery. do we know who did them? was it rob sheridan?

okay, time for bed. maybe more later.

The wretched, reptile, and beside you in time were the best. They had such a deep sound to them. Loved every minute of the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fucking incredible show. way better than either hammerstein show, and those were pretty sick.

dfa1979 was pretty good, had some really nice grooves.

qotsa were pretty sweet too. super happy that they played "the lost art of keeping a secret". they had cool lights and were playing really well. very enjoyable.

nin was just fucking on. the lights, the energy, the sound, everything was pretty perfect. if i had to nitpick: reptile was great, but less, something than usual. i described it as "crunchy" after hearing them play it at hammerstein, this time it wasn't. what can i say? i like the crunch. burn was less intense than at hammerstein too, but that's not good or bad.

highlights: the screen "breaking" and hell breaking loose for "beside you in time". that was awesome. also the lights slowly being lit up by the white lines in "tlbtb" were crazy. march of the pigs, wish, the wretched, gave up, love is not enough, ykwya?, only, tftf, and hlah were other highlights [as in, almost the whole show]. head like a hole was argueably the best concert moment of my entire life.

i some really good pictures. http://public.fotki.com/kskill/nine_inch_nails_/ the good ones are towards the middle to end, when i built up enough nerve to start using my flash. and some sick videos [sound is crappy b/c it was too loud, but the visuals are super high quality (i got all of only, the second half of HLAH, and some others).. but they're too big to post so PM me and we'll figure something out]. i'm really happy i decided to bring my camera [i wrapped the wrist band around my belt and had my camera hang in my pants above my crotch so that they wouldn't find it... not only were there no metal detectors, but i was never even patted down whatsoever]

lastly, i got a litho. someone asked me, before dfa even came on, where i got it. she came back 10 minutes later [or less] trying to buy mine. seems as if they sold out pretty fast. i cant wait to frame it and put it up next to my hammerstein litho.

all in all, possibly the best concert i've ever been to. thanks NIN.

Fucking Amazing.
My first NIN show, and I am incredibly satisfied.
They played everything I wanted them, and the lights were unbelievably good!

I dont think there were pretty much any fuckups, and the crowd was great!

Overall, perfect first show for me.

Carapetis was dead on too.

Awesome show. March of the Pigs and Gave Up were 2 of my favorites - and I'm so glad we got Reptile (since we didn't 2nd night at Hammerstein.) There was this fat drunk guy falling into me during Closer, but he didn't ruin my night

So glad I have Philly to look forward to on Saturday!

edit - I'll post more tommorow when I'm not dead tired. I agree that this show was way better than Hammersein, too...

Amazing.....Simply amazing show. Something I can never have was amazing besides for the dickhead behind me a few rows yelling. I wanted to tear his vocal cords out.

Everything was so amazing. And the ending was so so intense this time. Hammerstein was amazing, but this was easily the best concert I have ever been to.

gaaahh...Let's see if I can gather my thoughts. Ok.

Queens of the Stone Age blew me away, really. Good setlist and I was glad that they threw in a few Rated R songs.

Something I Can Never Have...did NOT expect this they hadnt played this the arena tour before I'm quite sure of it.

The visuals were amazing:
Eraser: That was so cool how they went from bacteria to insects...climbing up the food chain...interesting. It was very appropriate. Somewhat 'Self Destruct' with the whole insect thing. But instead of decay, there was more of an essence of LIFE. A positive message I would say, a hopeful one. definitely evoked Trent's new attitude,imho.
I was in tears during RWIB while watching clips of war and the Katrina devistation. Truly touching.

Beside You In Time was absolutely incredible. When he took the mic stand and what look like hit it into the curtain and then all the visuals smashed, that was absolutely sick.

And I must state, that there are definitely people put on this planet to be complete assholes. I caught one guy who actually picked up his fucking phone. He shoud've had his face beaten in with a metal pole. Also, some drunk meathead fucks who should've stayed at ??? or whatever. But you have to absolve yourself from the idiots of the world, couldn't let them ruin a perfectly wonderful show.

Other highlights...well SICNH was definitely definitely SURPRISING. I was glad they played Reptile...good shit. Aaron North could school Robin any day of the week. He jumped up on top of Alessandro's equipment and did a tomahawk slam. He is a great guitarist for Nails. Tight shit. I'm gonna give Alex props on YKWYA because I kept an open ear for the drumming on that one and I must say there was precision. What was that intro before Only? I actually thought they were gonna play Not So Pretty Now or something, hmm...More thoughts to come, I am quite tired and worn out.

Hah, forgot to add this. Me, my brother and my cousin were waiting around to see if we would run into NIN on their way out (I actually met the bassist of DFA which was kinda cool) and we ended up taking down the spiral entrance sign. The thing itself is a giant piece of printed paper, nothing too valuable, so I wouldn't say this was illegal at all. Our own fun souvenir.

Amazing show! Ah, so MSG doesn't suck when you spend $100 per ticket. Highlights:

DFA: They dedicated a song to their tour manager, whose birthday it was...They rocked, and I gotta say drummers that sing are pretty fucking cool to watch.

QOTSA: There was very little talking and they rocked hard. Josh said he liked us...he said he liked us a lot. Someone jumped on stage at the end of "Long Slow Goodbye" and was gently pushed off. Josh only used term "laid" twice.

NIN: Everyone on stage was totally fucking into the show and worth watching. I gotta say the scrim (or whatever it's called) should not stay up the whole opening song...too bad it doesn't drop when the guitar starts to really rock. Trent kept getting his mic replaced--at the end of one song, he smacked it with his guitar so hard that the stand broke off the base. Alex was (although, yes, I miss Jerome) fucking amazing and totally into every song; he did a great breakdown in Closer. March of the Pigs was excellent. Alessandro drinks the most water in the band, I gotta say, and I noticed that he was so intense at the beginning of MOTP that he took a swig of water to the rhythm. Jeordie banged on A's keyboards once and did some excellent headbanging while playing face-to-face w/ Trent. Aaron was all over the place; he did a bit of the backwards over the speaker move. When his mic got knocked down, no one picked it up for a whole song so he threw it into the speakers. Trent said something about how 2 years ago he didn't even know he'd be playing music and now here he is....

Last song, I think Trent was off first. Aaron knocked over a speaker, while Alessandro smashed his own smaller keyboard until it broke in half and little white keys went flying down in front. Then Jeordie gently placed his bass face up on the stage and walked off. It was lovely.

I'm sore and in heaven. Shout out to all my homies in section 348 (though I didnt talk to you, I was the kid in the black hoodie in the front row of the section who was yelling at the stage the whole time).

I died when SICNH started -- best rendition I've ever heard. I'm so glad we got one more song!

Anyway! I am completely obliterated and would die at the chance to see nails again.

That was a really phenomenal show. I caught them during the fragile tour in 00 at the garden and hammerstein night 2 in may and was fortunate enough to be in the pit both of those times. i also lucked out this time by getting GA tickets through the auction that they set up and it was worth every penny. I was directly in front of trent for the hammerstein show but made it a point to stand in front of aaron north for this show. he put on an incredible performance; flailing his guitar like a drunken bruce lee, diving over the amp, hurling water bottles at alessandro, all while playing his heart out on the guitar. trent was great as always. the bass on this tour is a lot more noticeable and i feel like jordie outshines danny lohner by a longshot. alessandro cortini reminded me of johnny greenwood from radiohead getting on his hands and knees to make all kinds of crazy sounds while still retaliating with water bottles against aaron north whenever possible. alex is definitely the new backbone of the band and was absolutely solid the entire show. he really beat the shit out of those drums. i dont know if anyone else got a full view of all the chaos that happened in the last 15 seconds or so. aaron north began smashing his guitar against then stage, proceeded to smash the keyboards AND drums with a little help from alex. alessandro took the opportunity to hurl his keyboard into the drumset nearly missing north. the best move during this melee was jordie about 10 ft in front of the 3 of them ever so delicately laying his bass on the ground and walking off stage. the stage design was pretty great and the 3 song movie segment was really entertaining. strangely enough my personal favorites of the night were hand that feeds and head like a hole. closer fell just a little short of the version that they do on AATCHB. i wish they stretched it longer. terrible lie was great. i was really taken back by and love is not enough and the collector. those songs really take on new life when you hear them live. the visuals during beside you in time were great though i did feel lit was just a little cheesy when trent smashed the screen. burn-awesome. something i can never have-surreal. i hope they play the wretched at every show. once again it was worth every penny and i only wish they'd come around every year.

Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Great show, amazing energy. SICNH was beautiful - I was in shock when the intro started. The other standouts for me were Beside You in Time, Closer, Suck and Only. Alex did really well, I thought. Aaron should be paid extra for all the crazy shit he does. Trent was in fine voice.

I missed DFA, but was really surprised by QOTSA - they rocked! Josh didn't even make any lame comments. I think he was sober.

On the way out a fight broke out. My friend turned around to me and said "it's not a NIN concert until someone gets their ass kicked"! Perfect ending to a fantastic evening.

I smell like beer, cigarettes and BO. My voice is shot and my knees are blown. The guys rocked so hard even my ovaries hurt. It was a fucking amazing experience.

Jeordie was was way more energetic than I expected since other people have posted that he sometimes stands there "like a wet turd". Not so at MSG. He was tossing water bottles in Aaron's direction, swingin' his bass around and gettin' amped off the crowd. And it was very kind of him to cue us during Burn.

I was also happy to see Alessandro smash the shit out of his keyboards after HLAH. It didn't seem scripted or forced. The crowd was hyped and the guys were going nuts. I didn't see if anyone else smashed anything.

And is it just me or did anyone else notice that we got that little "calm fucking down" refrain in March of the Pigs? Nice!

I'm still undecided about some of the more intense political imagery (during RWIB?). When it got to the part where the woman had the gun shoved into her head my jaw dropped. I'd read about it in the tour journal but seeing it is a totally different matter. I understand the message: We need to see it and not forget about it. Atrocities are being committed while we shop for bling bling... But still- isn't it out of place in the middle of a NIN concert? I dunno... Like I said, I'm still undecided. I thought it took the crowd almost an entire song to recover from that.

To others who've seen multiple shows: Was it seriously supposed to be that smokey or were they having a Spinal Tap moment with the fog machines? There were times when the band was completely obscured by fog.

I'd also like to send out a big "WTF??" to section 111. Were they handing out Valium in our section? I missed it. I'd say 80% of you couldn't be bothered to pay attention to the show. And to the 2 people next to me who talked the entire time: WHY NOT JUST GO TO A BAR??? Did you really pay $70 for tickets and almost as much for beer just to sing along to Closer and Head Like A Hole? Stay home with a CD and a case of MGD next time.

Other than that I thought that we were awesome as a crowd. I even had the audacity to think that Trent might make an exception for us and do an encore. Alas, it was not to be.

Now I will go to bed and try to function normally at work tommorrow.

Head like a Hole is kindof interesting coming right after Hand that Feeds.

I thought it was funny that ppl were crowd surfing to "hurt". I also liked that people didn't sing along to "hurt" much, except for the chours-parts.

Anyone know how DFA get all those guitar-register sounds out of the bass? I saw him scraping the pick on the strings a few times, but there seemed to be a lot more than that going on.

Funny. That they do their thing and then just walk off is one of the things I like most about nin at the shows I've seen. Encores are just stupid (and scripted) most of the time. It's one thing to say "we'll be back in a bit" and take a break, but the whole pretending to say "good night" and then coming back on is tiresome.

I feel the same way about intense plays, when the cast come out and take final bows. I've seen a couple of plays without that, and the effect is so much better. IMHO, and all.

oh my god. i didn't expect it, but this show was even better than hammerstein. he played so many songs i didn't think i was going to hear, and every single note was ON. i loved the imagery on the screen...it's one of the only "big show" effects that i've seen which leaves the audience feeling touched rather than blinded/deafened/bewildered.

Well, I just had to add my own two cents and say that this really was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I saw them last time they were here at MSG, and i loved it, but this one blew me away. The visuals were amazing, and I loved the cohesiveness of the whole show from beginning to end. Having them all walk off one by one while destroying their instruments was just sick.

I had read that some people didn't like DFA1979, but I actually enjoyed them. And it was a pleasure to see QOTSA. Again, I had read that their performances haven't been the best, but they kicked ass.

A highlight for me was definitely Something I can Never Have. It is one of my favorite NIN songs. The song itelf was beautiful, but having the band shillouetted by a hazy purple light made the whole thing surreal. Reptile was another treat. And while I already liked Only, it sounds much better live! All in all, the band sounded tight, and Trent's singing was in top form.

Question- Does anyone know the songs that were played during the setup betweeen QOTSA and NIN? There were a few songs that caught my ear.

Holy Shit Fucking Awesome Show!!!!!!!!!!! Way Better then the 5.9.00 MSG Show......I knew it was going to be an unforgetable experience when I was in for the sound check.....Spiral was money well spent......

Best show ever.

Aside from what was already said, I gotta say QOTSA really lit the place up with that version of No One Knows, and then NiN came on and fucking owned the place.

Is it just me or is RWIB the most depressing song ever? The imagery combined with the song made it so amazingly sad, I swear it looked like everyone in my section was rubbing their eyes afterwards.

Overall, this was the greatest show ever, they played all but two of my favorite NiN songs, and I didnt really expect them to anyway (Fragile and The Great Below)

I am creating an album on my flickr page for this concert. It was amazing, idk if it was better than Hammerstein, they were both amazing. Anyway, I have a busy weekend, so I won't be able to post all of my photos from the concert, but I will add little by little over the course of the next few days. I managed to get my Canon EOS 20D camera in there, and got some really really amazing pics of this sitting on my hard drive right now. Once I finish enhancing and whatever post-processing work, the set will be complete. jesus christ, is trent even trying anymore? that had to be the worst concert i've ever been to. as hard as it is to believe, i think this show actually sucked even more than the dc show. maybe it's time for the old fart to just throw in the towel. seriously, i want my money back.

but goddamn, DFA1979 knows how to rock. i'm totally buying their cd now.

... I'm glad I got to see both the summer tour and this one. Summer tour seemed more 'real' to me, while this seemed more of a show. That's not a bad thing either, just how it felt.

I'd like to see the band be more theatrical in their production. Except for AAron, whose monkey-ninja guitar playing is just fine.

As for the film projections, I dug it. Ending with the Baboon jumping in the water and catching a flamingo was hot. Seeing right through the cracks to... the biological reality of violence.

Great show, definitely much better than the Hammerstein one I went to (5/16). The set list was great, but I wonder why the hell do they open up with Love is Not Enough these days...personally I think it's a terrible opener. Oh well.

Regardless, the lighting was superb, especially during Burn, BYIT and Reptile. The video montage was quite sexy and I loved how everyone started clapping and cheering when Bush turns around while he's dancing. The flamethrower shot was money. The image of the GI holding a gun against the woman's head was haunting...very powerul. The part where the screen breaks at the end was a nice touch.

The clapping parts made me think it's 1987 and this is a Def Leppard concert, but I had fun. I particularly liked when the claps were initiated by the crowd themselves (during Hurt in particular). Actually, during Hurt, I had the strongest urge to yell out "Happy Fucking Birthday!", but I didn't think anybody would get it.

Someone posted above me saying the posters sold out early and that is not true. I got mine afterwards and they still had plenty extras laying about (in the 2 merch booths in the lobby, anyway). Some of the other merch was nice, especially the blue-themed long sleeve, but I wasn't gonna shell out $45 on that. WTFz0r. :/

Non-NIN related celebrity alert!!!

I was in Section 5, row J, seat 10, and not only did I see Julia from Uranium (on the right side of section 6), but also Tony Hawk (!) who was just walking around, and....dun dun dunnn (most surprising) - Nicholas Cage himself, I shit you not. What he was doing at the show and at this very section I don't know, but he was sitting in the front row of Section 84 (to my very right), sporting a moustache, with these 2 nice asian ladies and someone who looked like his agent. He gave out a few autographs to the people who noticed him but kept a low key throughout the show, never getting up (even during NIN), but I caught him headbanging slightly to THTF and HLAH. Heh, I'm not some celeb junkie, but it was the most surreal and bizzare thing seeing all these famous people around me. Ahem.

I’m an old-timer, been to every tour since PHM (which I saw at the Rock Academy in NYC and got to meet Trent and Richard Patrick as they were watching the opener, Die Warzaw.) Saw the Spiral tour at some club in Boston and on the Bowie / NIN tour, Fragility in Philly and was back in Boston for the two With Teeth at the Theater (god bless scalpers, 7th row first night, 1st the next.)

NIN is tough to objectively review as this was certainly not their best performance but it’s leaps and bounds beyond what anyone else is doing. Is music seriously in such a state of decay?

One thing I will say, I’m a Premium Spiral member and I feel ripped off. Sure, the seats were good (Section 6) but I didn’t know about getting into the sound check. Was there some memo I didn’t get? And what’s with having to go to the Spiral entrance, then being sent to Will Call to pick up tix and then being sent BACK to the Spiral entrance which proved to be VERY anti-climactic anyway. Get your act together with this Trent, this is NYC, we don’t like fucking around.

Hope to see you soon on the theater tour, that would be great.

Wow that show was fucking amazing. The Set list was every song that i loved (well of course i am a huge fan of them and of course i love every song that they made) and out of every band that i have seen in concert, This is the far most best concert that i have experienced. i would love to see them again. The songs were not like the album (Especially Only and The Hand That Feeds. NINE INCH NAILS FOR LIFE!!!!

I have one word to describe this show: perfection. I am so blown away with NIN's performance. Hammerstein was great and I remember being completely impressed with how tight the band sounded then, and they sounded eleventy billion times better tonight! Some might say a person's "perfectionism" is a tiny personality flaw, but I disagree. Trent does a fan-fucking-tastic job at what he does and I'm GLAD that he's a psycho-perfectionist.

The visuals during Eraser, RWIB, and BYIT gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. I especially loved how the visuals on the screen during Eraser went exactly in time with the banging drums of the song. And the screen "breaking" at the end of BYIT--CHILLS!!!!!

It's funny because I was pretty excited to see QOTSA because they are pretty high up on my list of bands I'm into. I was happy with their set and thought they sounded awesome. BUT, by the end of the night, after seeing NIN I kept saying to myself, "Oh shit.....I FORGOT Queens played too!!" NIN just kicked my ass and blew me away that the Queens set almost became a distant memory to me. (One thing I can clearly remember though is Josh's wacky dancing.)

The crowd around me was awesome and really into it. I was in Section 8, with_crappy folding chairs and I AGAIN wished I had been in the pit since we all stood the whole time anyway.

I really wish I had the opportunity to see more shows on this tour. I simply cannot wait for a DVD of this tour to come out (in 12 years). The whole Spiral situation was not too bad, except the spiral entrance, unless you're on line for GA seemed pointless to me. It was no biggie, but I could've easily used the regular entrance. By the time I got to the show anyway it was around 7:45ish, so everyone was already inside.

Anyway, every time Trent thanked the crowd I found myself saying in response, "No, Thank YOU." Because that's honestly how I felt. Thanks so much for really putting your heart and yourself into your work and making every penny spent well fucking worth it!!!!

hello yall.

Let me start by saying that the subway system in NYC is in dire need of improvement.The NIN fans-in-heat making out in their S&M getups
was sadly replaced by NYC's real social misfits in my 2 and a half hour ride home.The cursing bible nuts,the pervs and the endless panhandlers provided great entertainment though.

The show was amazing.The best concert I seen in ages.The highlight for me was "Something I Can Never Have".Gave me chills."Only" and "Right Where It Belongs" were amazing live too.

The concert not only sounded perfect,but the visuals were powerful as well.Some of the stage effects reminded me of the Wall.

The person I went with commented that the songs sounded better live then on record,and I must agree.

the setlist was good,but not great.The Fragile album mostly ignored for example.

Opening bands-DFA1979 were pretty good.But I guess me and my friend are the only ones who didnt get QOTSA.Bland and nothing special.Especially compared to the more complex and distinctive bands before and after them.

When was the sound check? When/where was the meet&greet? I was dispappointed by the Spiral enrance - I was at the front of the line and it was completely uneventful. But I'm going to the Philly show too, so I don't want to miss out again.

you had to be there before 4pm. the sound check was at 430 and immediately afterwards we had the M&G.

To start, don't complain if you weren't told about the soundcheck. No one was. You are always better off going to concerts early just in case something like this happens. My husband and I got there really early and knew we had to go to will call first. After that, we found the Spiral line. We saw how long it was and decided to walk down to some stores (our seats weren't going anywhere.) We headed back pretty quickly and noticed that the line was GONE. We walked right up and my husband was checked with a wand - they didn't touch me. I took someone's advice of hiding my camera in my back under some maxi pads, which the poor man refused to touch. I acted all embarassed that he had to see them, and I got right in no prob. I was going to post some pics, but I know my hubby wants to do it, so I will leave that to him. We got stills and a lot of video with sound, but it was so loud, some came out terrible.
The soundcheck was unbeleivable - there wasn't that many people, and they led us down to the stage where Trent appeared in jeans and a tshirt. It was intimate, everyone was calm and listened intently and we thought we were the luckiest people in the world. There was no flashing lights, no moshing, just quiet awe. They then led us out to the hallway and told us to line up on both sides. I was totally lost until they said everyone would be coming out to sign one item. There was no hysterical screaming girls or people rushing over and trampling each other. We all patiently waited, excited and bubbling over with anticipation. I mean, I've been listening to this guy since I was in middle school - and now I was going to get to talk to him.
All the band members came through to sign, took their time and were just awesome. Trent took the longest. When he first came out (the door was right next to us), he looked at everyone and said "what did I get myself into?" We weren't allowed to take pictures, which sucked, but I have to say: Everyone was so still and so calm, stilled by this profound silent respect for Trent. He, also, did not rush through, but hugged and shook hands with everyone. He looked everyone in the eye and gave everyone a chance to talk. I am humbled by the respect he showed back to his fans. I asked him if was ever going to play perfect drug and he told me that they have tried on this tour, but they just couldn't but probably the next one. Then I asked (because I have always been curious) about how he got paired up with Tori Amos on "Past the mission". He told me that they were acquintaces and that she had called him up one day and asked and he said sure right away. He said he respects all the work she does. He looked me in the eye and waited to see if I had anything else to say. I wish I was prepared. I just went blank because I never figured in a million years I would have this chance. I thanked him for letting us see all that we did. He gave me a hug and let me kiss him on the cheek - once again, humbled that he gave this much time to each of us. He told the next girl in line that he wanted to do this because it gets tiring to see the same guys - his bandmates - at every show - and just hang out in the back rooms. I wish I could thank him personally for letting us know how valuable his fans are to him. I am going to see if hubby wants to post pics of our tickets - the Spiral ones, that were signed.
The show - I have to say, was the best concert I have EVER been to. I don't understand why some people are complaining - I went to Hammerstein too, in GA, and I hated it. I mostly saw (and smelled) sweaty armpits at Hammerstein and couldn't enjoy it. This time, I got seats in sec 78, third row - it was perfect. He's timeless and ageless. I don't care how old he gets, I will still come to his concerts and buy his albums. He did mention that he never thought he would be back on stage again and he sincerely thanked the crowd. I can't even pick out a favorite song - they were all just awesome. The lighting was amazing. The sound was just right that it wasn't overwhelming - I have been to some concerts where you can't understand a word because they think the louder they are, the better they sound. Not with NIN - the entire show was clear, no mess ups, and well worth the money - The Spiral membership was priceless and I am postively going to renew every year. To sum up in one word - well, I can't. There isn't a word to describe it.

Wow, cool pictures. So that's what the stage looked like!!!

God Damn Section 331....I didn't even see Trent all night. And for Eraser, BYIT, RWIB the curtain/lowered lights completely blocked any semblance of a view that I had. Killer setlist though. DFA sounded much better than they do on their record. QOTSA was solid.......NIN was phenominal. I had been waiting 6 years for this shit. I can't wait until Saturday ; I actually have good seats for that one.

I think Trent was really touched by the response he got from HURT. It was a great moment. Why did Terrible Lie sound so fucking good! I really am a sucker for that song; I complain that they play it too much, then I rock out like a little bitch!!!

BTW....NIN is not really a good band to smoke for. I would imagine that speed is a better fit.

WELL WORTH THE POSSIBILITY OF GETTING FIRED!!! LOL.

I could've sworn they played Suck BEFORE Hurt. I'm positive of this.

Because I went to get a drink during Reptile and missed part of Suck because of it, and I caught the whole Hurt.

On another note, the show kicked major ass. My first NIN show and I was down in the pit having a great time. I'm sore, my leg is seriously fucked, I cant even speak, and it was all worth it!

I'm a little sad I didnt get to hear Sin, but I'll survive!

I have no complaints. Other than my sore throat from screaming my fucking head off, and sore feet from bouncing around.

My first NIN show, and I got into soundcheck, and I met Trent and the band. The show totally lived up to my expectations and then some.

The fact that I met/made more friends only added to the freakin awesome, unbelievable night that it was.

I really don't know what else to say other than what I said to Trent, "Thank you so much for doing this for us-it is greatly appreciated"
He's very sweet, and was very easy to talk to-professional, charming and humble. More rock stars should aspire to be like that.

Next time I will plan better, save money and join Merrick on trips to see NIN again!

Show was awesome. On the GA Line we got to see Rob, Troy, DFA getting hot dogs and I saw Alessandro, I was actually the one who ran up shook his hand and then gave him a new york hug. Anyone see the fight in the pit between the girl and the really annoying drunk guy? She beat the shit out him and he was bleeding everywhere. Death to the fat retard in the insane clown posse shirt that kept body surfing when no one could hold him up. Props to the guys in the pit especially the shirtless well-built guy who was ready for war during wish. Great Show. Period.

It was worth every single, penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar... US currency, you name it. I liked how the imagery was presented during Eraser. The explosions and war scences were awesome. It was hilarious when everybody booed the scenes of George Bush dancing as well on Right Where It Belongs. Everybody was singing along to almost every song too.

Somehow i managed to get in the front row of the floor section right on the railing, and i honestly didnt even get there that early. I arrived in new york at about 545pm, was on line for spiral at like 6, and when they let us into the arena, it was just deap empty. I was just confused cause i knew people were there since like 8 am. Guess i was just lucky... Amazing show

intro crap: this is my first post but this seems like a cool, friendly board so i am happy to be here!

great show! so was it me or did they go into "down in it" during the breakdown on 'closer"? either way i usually do not enjoy that song that much compared with all of the other amazin songs they play but i was really taken back by that. the lighting during that was as if fire was exploding from stage level while they were rockin.

i have seen NIN on just about every tour (except pretty hate machine) and they just keep gettin better and better. i was also very impressed with the projected images. especially the ones showing the devastation of the war and katrina coupled with the images of the wealthy ballroom dancing (ei: the bushes). it was very intelligently done. not just a bunch of cool looking pics but stuff that had really meaning without using words. i did not think there was anyway of them doing any better than the fragile tour when it came to the visual aspects of the tour but i was wrong. i am glad to see that trent has kept the projection idea goin all these yrs (since downward spiral) yet still keeps it fresh.

i also have to say that the bass was freakin spectacular!!! i just sat back durin a few songs and enjoyed the free massage!!

holy crap last night was really special, and i didn't even have a ticket when i woke up yesterday...

the eraser<rwib<byit part was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. there were moments when i forgot i was even at the concert...listening to the music, watching trent glow behind the curtain, and watching the video all at the same time put me in another place, a place i really want to get back to.

something i can never have came out of NOWHERE and made me really happy.

Great fucking show. I thought it was better than the DC show. My seats were really crappy, but the crowd around me was cool. Reptile and The Wretched were highlights.

I am in shock and amazement about the meet & greet. I totally didn't expect to do anything like that in NYC since I got to do a soundcheck in DC. My hotel was right around the corner from MSG, so I went early to pick up my Spiral tickets. By that time it was after 4, I think. I hadn't showered and looked like shit. After I got the tickets, the lady at the counter tells me to go around to the Spiral entrance. I just planned on walking by to see what, if anything, was going on. When I got there, the ushers told me that the soundcheck hadn't started yet, and that I could just go in. I totally debated about even going in since I had already seen a soundcheck and had plans to meet up with a friend for drinks before the show. (I am so sorry, Amanda, that you missed this.) Anyway, I said fuck it, and went inside. I think I was one of the last people to get in.

They did the same songs as the DC soundcheck, including Dead Souls. Why aren't they playing it live then?

In DC Sweeney said no M&G because there were too many of us. Well, there were more people in NYC and they did it. I was floored.

All the guys were really cool and tried to make small talk with everyone. Aaron was especially sweet. He'd go up to everyone and say "Hi, I'm Aaron. What's your name?" I asked him if he's actually playing while he's doing his amp handstand and he said he's holding a note while it reverberates off the amp. Jeordie for some reason signed his name with a "y".

I lost my shit when Trent came up. I turned various shades of red and couldn't even will myself to stay cool. Oh well.

Again, a great show and a great all around experience.

EDIT: One more thing, the Trent-led clapping has got to go. It's a tad cheesy.

I loved the show, it was my first NIN show and it was amazing. Here's how I thought the show went...DFA1979 were good, the sound was meh, but thats to be expected from an opening act. Queens of the stone age tore the house down, then Nine Inch Nails rebuilt the house, tore it down and took a huge dump on it. The show was amazing. The lights were unbelievable along with the projector. The set list was incredible, I was so happy to hear reptile. Aaron was balls to the wall insane, Jeordi kicked ass at bass, Alex pounded the drums, Alessandro rocked the keys, and Trent was simply nothing less than godly.

My left ear is still ringing and I'm sore as shit.

Got there about 30 mins before DFA 1979 started. They were OK. I liked the robot voice manipulator thing they used on the last song, and there were some cool guitar riffs, but the singer, christ. I didn't think he sounded good at all.

QOTSA was recieved very well by most of the floor but I wasn't really feeling it. They only have 2 good songs IMO and they were among the last ones (Little Sister and No one Knows). The setlist was something like:

1-3: Some crappy songs.
4. Little Sister
5. Some other crappy song
6. No one knows (they played this song for like, 8 hours.)

I'd like to extend a grand FUCK YOU to the idiotic fat faggot wearing the insane clown posse shirt. Anyone on the floor probably knows who i'm talking about. What a stupid fucking moron.

After waiting for 2 millenia, porkchop & crew setup NIN's set and pinion started, leading into LINE. I was right in the action through march of the pigs, but i got thrown to the floor and was completley exhausted so I moved back a bit. A really fucking amazing show. The pit was really intense. I wasn't ready for it at all, i was getting shoved around like crazy. Getting floor seats is definitley worth it. I had a much better time and a better view than my seats at Hammerstein. It didn't seem like such a big arena when you're just feet away from the stage.

I was glad we got an extra song, too. I really needed SINCH to catch my breath. Hopefully they can plug in other songs for that slot, because it didn't use the screen or any extensive effects (just purple lights iirc).

The visuals were really cool, especially for Love is not Enough, Reptile, BYIT, and Only. BYIT was a surreal experience.

At times I felt that I was the only one around me that knew every song. People kind of shut up during suck, burn, and even eraser, which shocked me. But the audience was really, really cool (except for that ICP twat).

The setlist is awesome. I'm so glad they brought the collector back, it's such a good live song. Suck too. And Reptile should be a staple for every show.. always mindblowing. No Starfuckers. Hurt was the only song I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I mean it's cool hearing everyone chant the lyrics and all that jazz, but i've seen it before and heard the song so many times. I guess it's a song they have to play at every concert though.

The show at the Garden last night was absolutely fucking phenomenal. There's not too much more we could possibly add that hasn't already been said...we were completely blown away by the light show and the screen projection.

We want to give a massive shout out to all of the phenomenal people we met last night: neverenoughnin and her friend (sorry I didn't catch his name) were the nicest, coolest people to hang with while we passed the time...rene and carrie you guys were awesome and the champagne rocked the house! we have never had such a great time at a concert before (and we saw NIN 3 times earlier this year), the people we hung out with made the entire concert off the hook. Hopefully we will see most of you in Philly tomorrow...

Neverenoughnin, also making fun of Juliya was hysterical...Fuse gave her as good of seats as we got through the spiral!!! Or maybe she's just a spiral member....lol!

This was one of the best concerts I've been to. I've seen NIN 6 times live since 1990, and I think this was far superior to the Fragile concert tour. I noticed the audience was a lot cooler this time too.

Don't get me wrong, I love NIN and I liked the show this time around but, for a large venue concert from Trent Reznor, I expected more.
I also was a little pissed that the setlist this time around was nearly identical to the Hammerstein shows. It was the same songs except more WT and Eraser (which was the best song of the night)

No, I liked this a lot better than Hammerstein (I really loved both though). It's probably because I was on the floor last night and had Mezz2 seats for Hammerstein.. but it was louder, sounded better, more energy, a larger setlist, etc. Better in just about every way.

On an unrelated note, anyone have an extra brown or blue or white tour dates t-shirt? i saw them at the merch stand but that shit was too crowded. Please PM me if you have an extra

The show was amazing. I saw NIN at Coachella earlier this year. It was downright spiritual. I wasn't sure how last night's show was going to hold up to the comparison, especially due to the Garden's sometimes weird acoustics, but they sounded awesome, comparison or no.
One question - from where I was sitting the roar of the crowd was so loud that I couldn't hear what Trent said to the audience after Hurt. Does anyone remember?

I was originally on the GA line because i thought my ticket was for the pit, so after waiting in the cold for about an hour, i finally realized that i was in the wrong line. I met some pretty cool people on that line. Hopefully if any of them are looking at this messageboard, i was the kid with the glasses in the grayish sweatshirt with red hair. I was talking to the guy from PA in the blue shirt who had short blonde hair, and also the girl who was trying to smuggle a digital camera in her bra. Um, hi everyone! i suck at this so i apologize in advance (i've never posted-ever). the show was amazing (duh) and i'm glad to know that i wasn't the only one crying during beside you in time. my boyfriend and i had pit seats (is that what you would call them?) and i swear that that mini death pit thing that formed kept following us around-and we moved to the other side of the stage trying to get away from it, but no such luck. kane from krock-or formerly i guess, i have no clue-was right in front of us during march of the pigs. (sorry, i had to throw that in there). i don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said so i won't bore anyone with a long message.

Wow what a fucking day, easily the best day of my life. I don't even know where to begin or talk about what's already been covered. I went to the show with my girlfriend, who Sweeny kept flirting with. That was really funny and Sweeny's a very funny guy. I saved the rolled up piece of tape he threw at me. Anyway everyone on the spiral that I talked to at the show eere very fucking cool. You people are very cool hehe. I didn't get everyones names but I know I talked fellow OnA fan and ETS/spiral member UninTY, and while in the pit I met redhead, requiem4something, and became good buddies with Puffy(Bobbie) and her man Bill.

Soundcheck was fucking great. While we're all sitting there (150-200 people) we kept seeing Porkchop and screaming his name out. Eventually he came over to talk to us and sign some things, very cool guy. They set up the stage and the members just casually came on and started fiddling with their insturments. Aaron was playing Help Me I'm In Hell for a bit!! Ahhh to hear that and Happiness in Slavery at a concert, only one could wish that would happen. Anyways they kick into Even Deeper and we were escorted to the pit. I got rail right in front of Aaron, and took the whole time checking out the lighting system and watching Alex being coached by some guy about drumming on songs. He nailed Even Deeper and Dead Souls, the 2 songs they were practicing. Man I didn't realize just how fucking hard he was hitting the drums during Dead Souls. Trent kept coming by those 2 songs to check on Alex and nod his head with approval. I bet they finally bring those 2 songs into the playlist very soon.

The Meet and Greet wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. At one point Trent was standing in front of me on the other line and I was looking thinking "wow that's Trent right there in front of me, hey look at those pants he's wearing" and then I caught myself staring at his ass. So then before anyone realized it I said out loud "hey Trents right there" to which my g/f said "yea look at the ass he has on him" me: "yea I'll admit it, I was staring at his ass too, was trying to cover it up". It was really funny and exciting to see UninTY vindicate himself when talking to Trent again. He was so happy afterwards that he needed a seat. Dude I'll send you a picture of you that Corinne took when I get the chance.

I can't remember for the life of me what I said to Alex. Maybe I didn't even say anything to him other than hi or thanks.

I asked Jeordie "What's it like playing for a band you once idolized?" to which he responded "I never idolized them, they were just there and, well I know play for them. It's pretty cool." and moved on.

Alessandro was next and when talking to him about fighting Aaron I said "Man you have to defend yourself against Aaron, attack him more" "I try, the other night I threw my keyboard at him, but he just caught it and threw it into the crowd <defeated shrug>" I thought that was pretty funny. He has an accent too, which I totally forgot he had.

Aaron was next and what a friggan goofball he is. He was talking to everyone, going out of line to sign things and finally got to me and asked me what my name is. I told him BJ, and he said PJ? No BJ, as in Bill. "ahhh like blowjob. Your name's blowjob." So he started making fun of me about that. I asked him about the chicken suit and he said that it was fun but it was really hot in there. He wanted to keep things interesting and he's looking to do something like that again in the future. Then when he was looking to sign his name he said he didn't want to sign by my nipples because he's frightened by nipples. Funny ass guy. I thanked him and he moved along.

Then finally Trent came. He shook my hand and we chatted for a bit. here's how the 1st question went "if you were a club sandwitch, what kind of sandwitch would you be" and Trent said "you just answered yourself" "what?" "you said club sandwitch" " ohh, so if you were a sandwitch what kind would you be" "club". Damn I'm smooth... I showed him where I wanted him to sign my shirt and he said
T:"ohh right in between the teets."
Me:"Aaron was too scared to write anywhere near there, he was afraid of my nipples"
T: "That's because he's gay"
Me: "Yea I bet he misses Jerome a lot."
T: "Yea well you know about that situation and what's going on..."

Wonder if he wanted to say more about it but couldn't/didn't want to. OOOOOOo I also later asked him about the infamous goatse picture.

The show was fucking amazing. Was up front and slightly off center. Best fucking show of my fucking life. This blew away the 2nd Hammerstein show I went to. I am so happy they played SICNH and I finally got to see Reptile live. Those are 2 of my favorite songs ever. RWIB actually made me cry a bit. I also ended up with one of Trents guitar picks. Best fucking day ever in my life, it was totally surreal.

Oh yea lots of people were coming up to me after the show asking about the shirt, I found out that they're all spiral members that had NO CLUE at all about the soundcheck and meet and greet. So I told them to read the boards and what to do the day of the concert. Can't wait to see some of you Sunday!

to clarify for everyone........before the soundcheck I was entertaining the crowd with the story of when I met Trent at the Hammerstein "pre-spiral".

I totally choked, and just kinda stood there wide-eyed, like a little school girl! I did manage to squeak a few words.......but nothing like what I had hoped after 13 years of waiting.

so......It was amazing to get a second chance.

I'm just outside Philly right now, and praying for a third chance!

WHO THE FUCK GOES TO A NINE INCH NAILS CONCERT TO FUCKING CHIT-CHAT THE WHOLE TIME??? WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!! I wish the upstairs fuck had fallen over the ledge onto the downstairs fucks and solved both problems for me instantly and quietly.

Okay, violent tendencies are officially purged. On to beer.....THEY HAD GUINNESS! woo. I didn't expect to see that, and it was a real treat -- despite the fact that someone kicked over my $7.25 full backup cup. Good thing I had a second backup cup.

My only official complaint: too quiet. Volume at MSG Fragility was definitely out of control -- it was actually painful and damaged my hearing (worth it, but unnecessary). At Fragility I couldn't even hear myself sing and scream, let alone anyone else -- that part was cool. I thought the volume this time was way too low, though. One of the main things I love about concerts is being absolutely swallowed up by the sound, and the fact that I COULD hear the shitbitches behind me says a lot.

Yes, I value quality above brute force distorted volume, but I think it could have gone up a notch without suffering quality. I was SOOOOOOO looking forward to hearing BYIT live because of that pulsating gut-churning eardrum-fucking effect, and it just never happened. Not only was it not loud enough to happen, but was I hallucinating, or did they just skip over that whole long pause/delay part? WTF why? I LOVE that part. If you keep the beat going internally it's just so much more powerful when it hits again. And then when it finally hits the guitars and breaks again -- grrrrrrrrr...I wanted to FEEL BYIT physically, in a way that could only happen live. I was really looking forward to that, and it didn't happen.

I'm not trying to bitch, though, because the band and the concert were fantastic. I guess I'll just never be as happy unless I'm in the crush at the front of the pit. Duh. Hardly a complaint, more of a compliment. I want ALL of it, including the crowd's energy.

BTW, I think I saw Nicholas Cage in the audience. His group of people never stood up once. If it wasn't him, it was a lookalike. He looks much taller in movies.

What a great show. Quite a while ago I planned a trip to New York with my girlfriend and then later on NIN started posting dates for their arena tour and the Madison Square Garden show fell on the last night we were there! It was great seeing NIN at the Garden. The lighting was wonderful. For seeing NIN the 6th time this year it is still a great show. SICNH was a great addition to the set list. I thought Trent said he would never play that live? Trent said thank you a few times. Does anyone remeber him saying something like "I never thought I would play here again, it is great to be back". Was really hoping for some special guest like David Bowie but no luck. The Spiral entrance was a little confusing, wished I would have showed up early for the soundcheck but I was being a tourist. Great show can't wait for the Oakland show. I will be there super early trying to get my Warfield poster signed by the band, maybe Jerome will be back but I have my doubts. Have to figure out how to have Jerome sign it.

I totally agree. My friend next to me kept shouting out words and I could hear everything she was saying. I agree that when I go to a concert, I don't want to hear myself sing. I heard fragility was outta control with the sound and the visuals so I guess I just expected that again this time around. Makes me wonder if I missed NIN at their peak?

339. And the idiots behind me weren't even yelling. They were sitting down and just talking, and yet they were louder than Trent's voice was. The best part is that they were talking nonstop about how obnoxious the yelling ass above us was. I finally told them they were just as bad as he was and to STFU during one of the quieter songs (RWIB, I think) because I couldn't even hear the words.

What, was the mall closed that night or something? I suspect maybe they were QOTSA fans and just lingered for lack of anything better to do with the rest of their evening. I mean, I got there as late as possible so I wouldn't have to suffer through Queens, but I was still respectful during the twenty or so minutes I had to endure. I quietly sat down and ate my dinner and enjoyed a Guinness -- and didn't even vomit it back up every time QOTSA did their "Okay, we're done.......NO WE'RE NOT! I had the time of my life!! I flew in from Memphis, TN the night before and got into the Spiral line at about 12. I was the girl wearing,"TRENT REZNOR SAVED MY LIFE" blazer. I was also wearing a leather pleated skirt and four inch stilletto boots. I got to meet a lot of people that I had been talking to on the messageboards which was really cool. I gave my extra ticket to this girl I met in line, Allison. I wanted company in the mosh pit with me. She was so much fun to hang out with. She kept on eating Poprocks the whole time. We got in and heard the soundcheck which was incredible. That was a real treat and you could feel that everyone was in awe. Then they took us to a back hall where we could meet the band. I gave my sister Dina pictures from the Voodoo festival in memphis for the band to sign. I got the band to sign my blazer. At first Jeordie came by and of course was to himself and i asked him if he can sign it and he said that it wouldn't show up since my blazer was black. I said i didn't care as long as i knew he signed it. Then Alessandro signed it and he was such a sweet guy. Aaron signed my right arm. Then Alex signed and said it wouldn't show up and was kind enough to sign my Fragile booklet too (you were only allowed to sign one thing). I also told him that i really liked his shoes, which were some alligator dress shoes and he said he liked my boots. I thanked him and he signed my sisters pic which he was impressed by. Then a couple of minutes later, he is walking towards me and points at my direction. I didn't think he was pointing to me until he turned me around and signed my blazer again with a silver sharpie. Everybody around me said "AWWWWWW!!" It was really really sweet and i said that i loved him. He is such a cool guy. Trent was last and he was soo cool by taking time to listening to the fans. When he came up to me, I told him my name was Yasmin and asked if he can sign my blazer and i asked his bodyguard if i could borrow his silver sharpie (he was really nice, cool guy... i offered to give him $20 for the pen and he laughed and said he would give it to me). Trent looked at it and signed. I asked if i could have a hug and he said of course, for the jacket. He then went to my sister to sign the picture from voodoo fest and i told him thank you for bringing Saul Williams to Memphis and we talked about his music for a little bit. The whole experience was amazing.
There was one girl on the railing and i was right behind her. i had a really good spot. THe crowd got crazy when NIN came out. By the end of the night i was sweaty as hell... my makeup was running and my feet were killng me, but it was all worth it. I made a lot of friends...Allison, Sean, Pam, and Riot. Thanks for the great great time!! Best day of my life!!!

Man, I'm glad I missed the entire QOTSA set - and whatever drunk idiots were wandering around - I purposely walked around, bought a shirt, got a couple of drinks - at a cup of fries, so on - so I wouldn't have to sit through anything that I knew I wouldn't like -
The funniest point at my seat was when the girl next to me *poked* me - like I had a skin disease and asked me if I was in the spiral club. I answered yes, and she asked "I am too - so, did you get anything special? Did anything happen?" I probably looked like an idiot with my mouth hanging open, but I managed to say "are you kidding me? we saw the soundcheck and had a m&g." Needless to say, she and her boyfriend weren't too thrilled. Isn't it just common sense to come early anyway?
Thanks Trent for the fan club - when he didn't have it back before Hammerstein, we had to buy the tix from a family member because we couldn't get any. The seats we got through the club for MSG were just unbeleivable -

I've been reading a couple of posts here and on the Spiral. I noticed that Jeordie tends to sign his name differently. I was at the M&G at the MSG show last Thurs. In showing off my ticket stub to my friends, my sister pointed out the oddest thing...Jeordie signed my name.

What's even weirder, I didn't tell Jeordie my name. I introduced my myself to two people at the Spiral on my way into SC. I'm also trying to think if anyone around me mentioned my name when Mr. White was in my area during the M&G.

My sister (who is a *huge* Manson fan and even met Jeordie years ago) says that 1) Jeordie was taking the piss out of me; or 2) his way in being cheeky with a female fan (anyone standing near me at the M&G and SC knows how painfully obvious that I have a big fangirl crush on Jeordie ). I don't think Jeordie was trying to be rude because he gave me a huge smile when he signed my stub. Whatever...this will be one of the biggest mysteries to me.

I tried to miss the whole thing. I wish Queens would have gone on first, 'cause I'd have liked to have checked out DFA, but I knew they wouldn't. I went with my bf and bro-in-law, and we'd already seen QOTSA's suckiness when they opened for RHCP awhile back and didn't want to subject ourselves to it again. We did the beer line / bathroom /merch scoping thing for a while, then finally went in so I could sit to eat a sandwich.

I ditched again before NIN for another quick beer and bathroom run since my bladder is apparently the size of a walnut. Of course, the line went halfway around the arena. Two other chicks and I shared a nice bathroom-based girl-bonding moment as we strategized and then hit the stairs. They wanted to go down a level, but I suggested that the upper level had less seating, therefore less people, so the lines should be shortest. It worked. No lines at all. By the time we peed and parted ways the downstairs line had hardly even moved. I told them there was no line upstairs, but they just stood there like dopey cattle. Duh. Some of the smarter (or more desperate) ones had already taken over the men's room.

I hit the Guinness line and returned to the seats just in fucking perfect time. The INSTANT my ass hit the seat the lights went out, Pinion started, and my ass got right back up.

It's funny how even in a crowd of 20,000 NIN fans you'll still spot people from previous concerts. On our way down the stairs afterward, my b-in-law said, "Look. It's the stalker." Sure enough, this stalker groupie from the Hammerstein show was right in front of us. Maybe her posse was already in position outside.

It wasn't even worth it to try unless it was thrown directly to you. There were some crazy ass people over there willing to kill you for something so small. None of the people I was standing near caught anything. All is saw thrown was drumsticks and the broken guitar and thats it. But it would be cool to have caught something.

Positive it was head like a hole last. It's been last all tour and was indeed last at MSG. Don't you remember the trent with his hands up singing bow down before the one you serve then the guitars smashing and the drums breaking and all chaos?

Sorry I have taken so long after the actual show, but I managed to get in a Canon EOS 20D into the arena for this show, and I got some pretty decent photos at this show. Also, I saw NIN in Boston the following week, and with my spiral membership, we were in the 6th row from the stage, and I also managed to get my camera into that show too! I went to this concert last month and it blew me away. As I was walking out, I was praying that someone had recorded it, whether it be audio or video. Well, eBay came through for me yet again. I picked up a DVD of this concert, as well as the show in Philly. They are amazing. I remembered how awesome the show was, but I just needed a little reminder.

Kind of dissapointed by the show in general... The drummer (Alex Carapetis) was far too new to get anything right (him and jeordie DID NOT agree on where the beat was). The only defining parts of the show were listening to Aaron North play (better than Robin Finck IMO, or at least more suited for NIN), and hearing Eraser and Reptile. Kickass songs. Other than that, they were really off. It was NIN live, but Fragility was far more on. Whoever said "every single note was ON" is wrong... and needs to reconsider their role as a judge of "ON" music. I would have loved to have seen Jerome Dillon play... but sadly, he broke his whatever. doh.

This show was amazing. I dunno what this guys was smoking when he was there. Maybe he's the guy behind me that was smoking sawdusk. I swear to god someone was.

Anyways, if anyone who cares hasn't downloaded the dvd of the show, they should. It's really well done and is quite good both in audio and video quality.
