Gig was amazing!

Setlist something like this:

Pinion
Terrible Lie
You Know What You Are
Sin
The Line Begins to Blur
March of the Pigs
Piggy
The Hand That Feeds
With Teeth
Closer
The Frail
The Wretched
The Collector
Reptile
The Big Come Down
No You Don't
Even Deeper
Suck
Gave Up
Hurt
Wish
Head Like A Hole

I just got back to the hostel by myself after spending half an hour looking for the others outside the venue. I am on the verge of nervous collapse, so fogive me if the setlist isn't perfect.

Trent rocked, but it was too damn hot in there.
Grand Inspector
AAARgh I have sunburn! Argh I was drenched in sweat! AArgh the gig was good, but for me, my least favourite of all the London shows. But whatever it was still pretty good.

Good to see the gang again.
Master Traveler
The above setlist is pretty accurate.
Good show IMHO - a little shorter than last week's Brixton gigs, but still awesome nonetheless.
I'm glad they didn't play Starfuckers Inc, but I really missed Burn and Something I Can Never Have.

During 'Wish', Trent changed the lyrics slightly (near the start - something about a guitar?). Anyone remember what he sang?

Great show except TOO HOT it was like a sauna in there this could be due to the african temperatures outside. but i defiently feel that this effected the gigs at certain points especailly towards the end.....
Also the crowd seemed much more violent (this is not a bad thing) everyone was more excited and this resulted in the biggest mosh pit i have seen at a NIN show so far. It was physically draining during Wish, suck and gave up to survive in there.
No You Dont was fucking amazing and i agree that i missed SIN and SICNH.
This is the best time i have seen Saul Williams on this tour he seemed much more 'into it' this could be becuase the sounds was better in there today and the setlist was slightly different. and also becuase the crowd started dancing....

This was not the best NIN gig i have been to so far i preferrd the 5th and the 31st March but it was still amazing. Earlier on during the day me and my friend managed to get acces to watch the band reaherse the played EDIETS during this reahersal i was surprised the didnt play it suring the main show. there were about 10 other people in there and then the band finished and they cam out and shook hands with everyone and signed stuff. I was lucky enough to meet Trent and speak to him for a few minutes he signed some of my shit he seemed really nice and down to earth but i was so fucking starstruck it was unbeleivable. I swaer to everything i hold dear i am not making this up. It was completley surreal. a fucking amazing day cant wait for tomorrow.

I thought he sang "and this is the first time i've played this guitar" something along those lines. Pretty funny.

Ahhh...

Fucking rocked. Hard to say how I'd compare it with last week's gig on the 5th. I liked hearing Sin, The Collector, and No You Don't, which I hadn't heard last week or at the Astoria.

This was the first time I saw Saul Williams, and I liked him a lot. Makes you think, and makes you dance. I'm keen to see if he changes it up a lot tonight.

I was in the middle of the crowd this time, rather than to the side as I was last week. Not right down in the pit, but about halfway between the front and the soundboard (near that railing in the middle). So for me, the sound was better and the vibe was better. About on par with last week's show, I guess - which means excellent.

You know, I really think we're really lucky here in London (and in the UK in general) to get so many NIN shows at such excellent venues relatively close together in such a short time.

I completely agree with the others: yesterday's exceedingly warm weather meant that I sweated my balls off in the Academy last night. Since I danced the whole night, though, at least I feel like I earned it.
I did four of the shows on the tour, London 5th, Birmingham, Manchester (with meet and greet) and finally last night.

I can honestly say its been the best two weeks. I was in America when the Astoria dates happened and was panicked as I returned home before the American leg started, so when these dates were announced I got busy on the net and thankfully have a couple of friends who did the same. I just hope Trent takes a look at these boards every now and again and understands what a good time he has brought to us all. Thanks to everyone that went along as well, the crowds have been some of the best I have encounted at concerts.
See you all at the arena dates in the spring!

great show, was up in the balcony taking pictures, which i shall post as soon as i fund my cable!!

worst part was waiting in the sun for fricking ages - but some nice people from teh venue/teh crew/teh someone came out and gave out bottles of holy jesus ice water.

i think this is the most with-teeth heavy show i've seen so far - the only cd that wasnt really represented was TDS. They didnt play starfuckers, supoosedly because the manc audience wouldnt shut up at the "don't you" bit.

proper update after tonight's gig when it'll all be over :'(

?
They played 5 TDS songs (MOTP, Piggy, Closer, Reptile, Hurt) out of the 21 total.
Setlist is spot on...was about to post it myself(!)

Some of the best bits: After Trent slipped into the pit (thankfully not hurt - phew!) and the audience singing 'nothing can stop me now!' 8)

When everyone clapped along to 'Hurt' one of those, will never forget this moments (did anyone think the way trent said 'thank you very much' when hurt finished sounded a wee bit like elvis?)

Pinion being the intro - reminded me of the very first time I saw nin *sniff!*

Oh and Jeordie's guitar waggling was skill!

Does anyone know what the huge banner in the balcony said?

(Gooey eyed) Really tight set. Great atmosphere, everyone singing and dancin' along - great night.

I haven't had a greater day in my life. My friends seem to desire the fact of leaving at 12, but i disagree and insist we leave at 10 to 11, more time= more chance. We get to the queue about half 1, where about 13 black umbrella- clad goths are seated sipping Volvic and chewing on doritos. The nerves affected me a little the day before but now they are pounding. For the first hour of waiting anyway. I and my two careless friends are now sitting, but I have now had enough so I make conversation with others. I meet one girl from Chicago named Sascha who tells me all about what to expect and I meet D from Surrey, she being a NIN virgin too. I begin to ask if there is any relevance between this gig and the privileges a spiral member gets after joining. I am told no, not today, much to my disapointment as I had bought along my membership forms prited off from the website itself. Later on though, after many walks round the back of the academy towards the tourbus, we take one more walk, and I force D into coming with me, mainly because a small crowd of about 6 has assembled outside the stage door. I go up to them and ask if any of them are spiral members, a couple are but no relevance. They inform me that they have won a competition to meet the band and see the soundcheck plus watch the gig as well as. The guy leading the group suddenly jumps out some car that has just pulled up. He checks names and notices that a person and their plus one is missing. He rings the guy up and unfortunately they find that they just dont know where to go. But then something odd happens- the dude for Xfm tells us that we can come too! At this point I could barely hold a cigarette. About half an hour later when we get let in, my nerves are beyond estatic. We get taken to the stalls themselves, about twenty of us and watch the band fumble and stand oddly whilst tuning and perfecting their instruments. There is a deadly silence everywhere and all that is heard is the whispers of the group of twenty. In a flash Trent is now facing the audience looking sideways towards Aaron who I am in front of. Jeordie keeps staring towards me and D which is odd. They begin the soundcheck with 'Love is not Enough', and unusually enough Trent begins playing the guitar on the first chorus and then stops singing as if in a tantrum, and pelts his guitar at a roadie and walks back to the mic. They play 3 more songs- 'The Frail', 'The Wretched', 'Everyday is Exactly the same'. I don't think I can continue writing for I am still so beside myself with joy.

It wasn't a competition as such.....those who were some of the first to take up the premium spiral membership in the UK, recieved an email from Eric the tour manager asking if/where we were going to see them on the tour. If you responded, he would fit you in for a meet n greet with the band. I was lucky enough to get in for the Brum sound check + chat/signing/photo sesh :-)

I managed to fit in gig's for the 5th and 8th, but I so wish I could have made the last night of the UK tour.........glad you all enjoyed yourselves anyway :-D
Master of the Ninth Arch
yes, theese meet n greet events are pretty cool,..
i had a chance to see the soundcheck on the firs brixton date last week

aanyway it was aaaawsome gig again.
but maybe trents voice was a bit tired sometimes..

Manc audience too? Some lout who obiously doesn't know the song as well as they think they do, or just revels in their own idiocy, wouldn't shut up last Tuesday either. You could see Trent was getting increasingly pissed off before saying something I couldn't really make out about the audience then launching straight into the chorus sans the usual "Fuck You" or pause. It certainly ruined the moment, and almost the song. Maybe he had that in mind too.
I didnt have a camera i could take and it was my first concert ever, so i'd LOVE it if someone could post their pics. <3

Did anyone else think this gig was more colourful?

Last night they really hammered the scope of colours on the screens behind 'em, and on those b*tchin' lamp-ball things clustered around on stage!

It was skill!

I was there too Cynosure, fairly certain I know the same goon you speak of.

What were your highlights?
Those comments about Manchester (2nd night) rendition of Starfucker's Inc and the crowd singing along are utter rubbish. Trent, having a sense of humour, enjoyed the moment and actually laughed at the end of it. How am I so sure, well I made a full recording (near soundboard)of the gig now mastered on CD. And for the fact that the crowd sung along certainly added an element to the track that was 100% postitive. I loved it, most of the crowd loved it and for sure Trent loved it.
Master of the Ninth Arch
loved it ! just got home from germany ... july 13th was better for me in this case: i was 2nd row, in front of jeordie .... the atmosphere was GREAT .. so the people .... almost no violence or pushing ... i could dance and sing along some songs !.... awsome ! thank you all ! :-D

PS: got a (used!) drumstick ... :D
and 2 lithos.....

About Saul Williams: hes great but i prefered Dresden Dolls ...

and THANK YOU for "the big comedown" .... my personal highlight !!

I wasn't even supposed to be at this show! But, I got a ticket off eBay for mice's prices. err, arrived at the venue about 2ish, with an ice lolly for silktwisteddagger. Sat in the queue for a while, with all the awesome people - azure, summariot, Christo, acid pits, Saturnine, and all the other awesome people. I was determined to get to the front. So as soon as doors opened, azure and I made an effort to get to the front quick sharp. And we made it! Saved a place for summariot, who is the most awesome person in the world for hooking me up with a backstage pass (more of which later). We're totally even now, dude!

Saul was... outstanding. No other way to describe him. I need to investigate more of his stuff, because he's a fucking poet and an inspired support. The crowd, as always, loved him.

NIN! Err, there were several highlights. Sin was amazing. Getting water squirted into my mouth every five minutes kept me cool, though I was soaking by the end of the night. I was right between Aaron and Ol' Big Arms himself. Like everyone else in the building, I think Trent looked at me during The Wretched. I managed to grab his bicep (dear GOD it's huge) and his hand in his excurision into the crowd during Piggy, which made my inner fanboy come out. The set was brilliant, Fragile-tastic. Which is fine, because it's my favourite album. No You Don't Was a particular highlight, all the classics were there as well.

I was obviously lightheaded after the show, because I spent £40 on the hoodie. It is awesome, though. Stuck my pass on it, and headed to the afterparty! I harassed Aaron about his stupid Parker Fly guitar. He doesn't like it much either, but has to use it in The Big Come Down because of the piezzo pickup. I bumped into Alessandro too, who's the cutest thing ever, and asked what he's doing back there during the show. Short answer: everything. The drinks were sort of pricey, though. Oh! And I talked to Tim Wheeler from Ash, which was another fanboy moment. He liked my Weezer t-shirt.

That done, it was back the hostel, to rest up for the next show. Man, was I tired. Thanks to everyone, summariot and azire especially. Y'all rock.
Master of the Ninth Arch
Wiz...I was at afterparty too, man wish I'd seen you, would've been cool to chat.(Alessandro's dead dinky-dope isn't he?!)

You grabbed Trent's arm  wow! How cool! Elaborate on how it felt please; at length.
Prince Adept
I was the tall dude with the hoodie, looking like a giant fan boy. Who were you?

Trent's arm was sweaty. Very sweaty. But my word, does he have muscle. Even more than the Astoria. I dunno what sort of workout plan he's on, but it's working. Big ol' hands, too. What a nice guy!

The worst thing was that he moved directly on top of azure when he came into the crowd - summariot and i both instantly moved to try and stop her neck being hurt, but she was fine. She's fucking tough, that girl. And she's maked me start swearing every five fucking seconds.

Quote of the shows:

"It's like being in Trainspotting" - silktwisteddagger, on hearing azure (from Glasgow) and Alessandro (from Stirling) converse at length in fucking hot accents.

Gig was great .. best of the 4 I managed to get to, probably because it was as close as they got to the set list I would have asked for.

Thanks for keeping an old man company back at the hostel, I was a bit nervous coming back on my own (had hoped I might catch one of you earlier when I checked in, but you're all much bigger fans than me and had already started queueing)

Oh, and no I dont (fucking) swear as much as (fucking) Azure - she's a (fucking) weedgie and therefore (fucking) swears 72% more often than a (fucking) east-coaster!

My first NIN show but will certainly not be my last.....me and my husband may have been the oldest there ( oh no we weren't, Trent is the same age  ) but everyone was so bloody lovely, the atmosphere at that gig was brilliant, you are all a lovely lot.

a flipping long story (and frankly not told very well) so my apologies on both fronts ...

.....................................................

We got to Brixton but the heat was so intense that our make up was all gone before we even reached the venue! When we got there, I went over to a rather large human who resembled a tank of some sort and asked about the early “meet and greet” session which would have allowed us to go back stage and meet everyone!!! Apparently that had started at 16h00 and we were too late …. I will NEVER live that down. So, on we went into the queue with everyone else and I think my heart had dropped out with disappointment. His last show in England was the following evening and I knew I would probably never get to see him again – unless I can somehow get to the USA later in the year! The small, loud and highly opinated female in the queue behind us did nothing to lift my spirits with her incessant whining about how "weird" NIN fans were. Clearly she had not looked in the mirror for some time ...

In the queue we'd met up with two friendly Irish chaps that we'd met at Stanton Station earlier and we all went in together. We got into the ground level area and made our way to the front. Saul Williams came on and he was awesome! Definitley adding that to my stuff to buy list. It was so loud you could feel the base trembling in your chest – which is always a pleasant thing!

We got to within less than a metre or so from the stage and directly in front of the guitar stand – a very unwise thing but I thought we would be fine. When Trent came on stage there was such a massive surge from the back that my sister and I were squashed right up against everyone else. There was no room to move in any direction. It was okay at first because we could breathe (only just) but we couldn’t see very much due to tall people standing in our line of sight.

I did get to see Trent though, which ultimately made it all worthwhile. I was about 3/4 meters away from him and there was one point where he looked over in our direction for at least 10 seconds and of course – the whole world stopped!! I should have waved or something but I just stood there (I was probably gaping at the time as well … which is not terribly attractive ... ).

Then it got really bad. We became so crushed that we were starting to suffer, not just the sheer pressure from all sides, but the intense heat as well. At this point I had some moron to my left with his elbow on my shoulder, using me to hoist himself up – my sister had someone behind her who had one hand on her head and the other arm leaning on her shoulder …. We decided it was time to get the hell out while we were still conscious!

I did manage to make eye contact with a few people and indicated that I needed to get out, so they helped me to move towards the right hand side of the venue. Unfortunately, the bag I had been carrying was torn and all my stuff ended up on the floor somewhere. I dropped down to retrieve them (my purse was amongst the stuff with all my cards and everything in it!) and a group of people formed a circle around me to protect me from all the craziness going on (which was sweet). Someone behind me got her mobile phone out and tried to help by using the light from the phone – we couldn’t find anything.

I was so distraught at this point – I was missing out on seeing Trent perform AND had lost all my stuff!

I finally got away from the mosh pit area and made my way to the left hand side of the stage where there some security people. I explained what had happened and a couple of them went through the front area directly in front of the stage to try to find whatever they could. They found nothing and told me to wait there until after the show and then we would try to see if we could retrieve anything.

There was one security guard in particular that was very helpful – he let us stand where no one else was allowed to, so that we could see the rest of the show. Every time a taller person ended up in front of me, he would move them out of the way – so we did get to see the second half of the show at least. And it was fantastic.

So, after it ended, I weaved my way back to the area where I had been and began searching for my things. There were still tons of people milling about and someone asked me what I was looking for – I told him I’d lost my purse and described it to him. Then a whole bunch of people started to help me look for my things – it was so sweet. Someone found my purse! I opened it up and found everything still there – nothing had been touched at all, so I was so incredibly relieved about that. We found almost everything scattered about – including the can of Magicool. I sprayed myself a few times and people started lining up around me so I sprayed them all too! … How to bond with complete strangers 101 ...

Then along came a security guard and he wanted to know what I was doing ( like I was spraying people with flipping DRUGS or something ...). I showed him the bottle and he was so impressed that I let him have it.

Anyway, my sister and I were completely soaked with water (it was necessary to prevent heat exhaustion) – we were a total mess but we loved every second of it (bar the part where we were suffocating).

We got the tube back to Liverpool Street station and then a train to Tower Bridge, and from there we walked (limped) back to the hotel. It was so lovely that night. It was still hot and everything looked peaceful.

So now back in Cornwall, I am miserable that Nine Inch Nails has gone but happy in a completely sublime way that I finally, after 13 years of waiting, got to experience such an incredible thing.

Now all I need to do is figure out how the hell I’m going to get to the USA at the end of the year ....

OK, here goes...

After no sleep, Danni and I readied ourselves for the day ahead: washing, dressing and eating Activia cereal yoghurt. Shreena stayed in bed, as she had no reason to queue through the day, and her dad drove us all the way to Brixton. My first impressions were that there were a lot of black people (not bad), that it seemed busy (neutral) and that it was hellaciously hot (bad). We rounded the corner at about 9am, and found a group of people including (but not limited to) Mac, Christo and Storm sitting on the steps outside the door.

At about 11:30, Christo and I decided to leave for Camden market, as we were supposed to be going to a taping of a new MTV/Channel 4 gameshow called Bamboozle. Owen was originally supposed to be meeting us at the venue, but the lazy bugger slept in, so we just headed for a closer point in the hope that he would arrive before they closed the doors.

To get to Camden, we used the Victoria line, which meant that we went through Kings Cross station - one of the tube station heavily affected by the July 7th terrorist attacks. It was haunting - like passing through the ghosts of all the dead and dying people that had been there the week before. Nearly everyone in the carriage turned to look at the empty station. No one spoke. It left me with a chill that has been hard to shake.

Back on the street, we walked around the market - between us, we bought sunlotion, mars chocolate milkshake drinks and a box of Ribena orange juice. When it became clear Owen probably wasn't going to make it, we walked up to the MTV studios where ZANE LOWE the most gorgeous New Zealander to ever exist, was filming something for his MTV show Gonzo in the carpark outside. After a million years of me dithering, Christo dealt with the lady at the gate. It turned out that the studio was full, but we could still get our Big Brother finale tickets, so we left happy, and went back on the tube - me to the queue, Christo to his house so he could drop off his litho. When I got back, security had set up the barriers and my bag was gone - Danni had taken it back to the hostel with Ben. Which made me quite happy, as I always manage to pack too many toiletries and end up pulling around a rock for however long I am away.

Time passed, more people arrived (Daniel, Owen, Mark et al), and I bought Sainsbury's sushi and melon pieces and bottles of water. Christo got jealous of the sushi and started kicking my foot and telling me I looked like I had Down's Syndrome. Thanks for that Christo. Towards the end of the evening, madmarte turned up, but he was far too gorgeous to talk to. My fist still has teethmarks embedded into the flesh. There were a few people looking for spare tickets, we pointed them in the right direction and hopefully everyone got what they needed.

Finally, 7pm arrived, and we all got in. I decided to hang out at the mixing desk with Owen and Daniel instead of going down to the front. People started drifting in, and by the time Saul Williams took to the stage, the standing area was jammed full of people. Most of us were wearing bogstandard t-shirt and jeans, and although I had seen a few overtly obvious goths & weirdos pass by, it seems as if either the heat or the evolution of NIN's sound had beaten them into retreat. Either that, or I just don't notice people any more.

Saul Williams was incredible. I was a bit overwhelmed at the beginning and I had a little cry; then it was all good from there. It was interesting watching the crowd react to him. Not many people seemed to be interacting during the actual songs, but once the music/vocals died down, he received huge yells and cheers of support - so it seems as if people were taken in with listening to the words he was speaking, rather than the music he was performing with. A good thing, I think.

I don't know whether it was the distance I was standing, or that the set list was stale, but I found myself easily bored by NIN's performance that night. The music wasn't shoddy, Trent was giving it his all, but about halfway through the set, my attention started to drift. However, I did enjoy hearing The Hand That Feeds in a slightly more open area where I could shake my ass to the synth solo. As did Owen. You know you liked it Owen. No need to pretend.

Daniel and I headed back to the hostel before the others. We ended up walking entirely the wrong way up Bayswater road (something we would repeat the next night, because we were dumbasses), found the hostel, and grabbed 2 cans of Pepsi Light and a lamb shish kebab for Daniel in a late night Halal restaurant. It had yellow seats, mirrored walls and toilets/internet access downstairs. When we were done there, we headed back to the hostel, checked in, and went up to our room.

Making beds with sheets is not fun, but at least I did a better job of it than squarepeg, who... bahahahaha... who just kinda wrapped himself in them and lay down. I attempted to shower in the communal showers on the next floor down (the bastards lied to us about having an ensuite!) but only really succeeded in making myself less awful smelling and all my possessions wet. At least it was brightly coloured - it was almost like being on holiday in Blackpool!

We all talked until everyone fell asleep - oddly enough, I wasn't the last one talking. I gave up the ghost to LikkleBaer, who had enough energy to run a bloody marathon. She must be on pills of some kind.

Continued in the 14th thread!

Wow - my account of the whole thing is starting to fade a little. It was fun reading over everyone elses time at the gig. It was bloody fantastic.. The first time I have ever seen them live but I am hoping not the last time.

Kats review = FUCKING AWESOME!!!! :D

I regularly only sleep four hours a night during the week... I slept practically all this weekend to compensate.

I didn't arrive in London until 13:40 and was met off the train at Paddington by my friend Newty.

At the hostel I changed my top, and freshened up a little. Newty had bought a lovely pink top for me (which I ended up wearing to bed), and some skin lotion, and a cookie. Then we went off to have lunch in the park and talked some more before heading to Brixton.

I spotted Azure at the front of the queue and paid her for my ticket, she was also nice enough to swap Newty’s standing ticket for a sitting one as Newty and I had decided we wanted to be together and I couldn’t face two nights in the pit. I didn’t ask to bump in line with them because it was after 18:00 and it just wouldn’t have been fair, so instead we joined the back of the queue.

We were lucky to get a central position upstairs, three rows from the front. After Saul, we moved to the second row because some people at the front left and the couple in front of us shuffled forward.

Silktwisteddagger recognised me and came over to say hello, which was nice, and we sat together for a while when Newty went to get drinks.

Saul Williams

The opening act was surprisingly good. I was enjoying myself so much that I actually got very angry when some idiot squeezed past us twice during Black Stacey… I mean, couldn’t he have waited until Saul finished?

Nine Inch Nails

The performance was amazing, though I think Newty was just as interested in what was going on in the crowd; she remarked on how well the security guys were looking after everyone.

During Piggy, Trent came down to the barrier, and I felt I could almost smell the excitement of the people below us.

The setlist was fantastic, and Newty and I kept smiling and hugging each other. We also laughed at some of the people who came to stand in the isle beside us for a while, before being firmly instructed to return to their seats by security. I guess the experience just overwhelmed some of them and they just couldn’t help themselves – I’m thinking particularly of the guy with no shirt, who stood defiantly with his arms in the air… perhaps seeking a sense of connection with the band.

After the show I freaked out a little bit because I couldn’t find the others outside and had no one to go back to the hostel with. Luckily Newty leant me money for a cab and saw me as far as Earl’s Court. She was really worried about me, but it was so late that she couldn’t come back with me as it would have left her stranded. We met some nice chaps on the tube, and one of them was getting off at Earl’s Court and was kind enough to put me on the last tube to Kensington High Street. I asked a woman at the bus stop where I could get a cab from and she kindly flagged one down for me. The cab driver was really nice and when I explained my predicament he dropped me outside the door of the hostel and only charged me five pounds.

I made use of the Internet to reassure both Newty and my family that I had got back to the hostel okay, and couldn’t resist heading over to the echoingthesound boards to post the setlist. Then I headed upstairs to have a shower and found that two of my roomies were there, and it wasn’t long before everyone had arrived safely back at the dorm.

Azure, EnemyAirship, Silktwisteddagger, Saturnine, Wix, and Squarepeg… great roomies. Azure felt really bad about what had happened (Saturnine and EnemyAirship had also been separated from the main group). We all talked for a while before Saturnine and I bored everyone else to sleep by talking about poetry and creative writing on the Internet. Saturnine said something in passing that I've been thinking about ever since.

I was the last to go to sleep, and lay there for a while listening to everyone else sleeping (and snoring). Contrary to popular belief, I didn’t actually contemplate killing any of them in the night.
Hello,

LOL - knowing myself it probably was you! One of my very first posts and I manage to insult someone ... sorry if it was you - I'm still annoyed about the crappy parts because I'm just one of those people that refuses to grow up.

Incidentally ... you were right :-)

later aaron noticed the small teddy , looked at it very puzzled and kicked it away ....

anyway, when the teddy was thrown on stage i could not help myself ... haha ... :D
i am glad it wasn't some Bra or whatever ....

That reminds me that I was supposed to take a luminous pink g-string along to throw on stage in honour of a beloved Belgian friend who couldn't make it - they were supposed to say "Anneke Von Bitch" ...

Still, I think it might have made for a funny moment :)
Thank you manu. Fantastic pictures :D

was it a teddy thrown on stage? i noticed aaron picking something small and dark up and putting it on some box...

the gig was really cool, liked it. when it started, i stood somewhere by the rails with minimall until i couldn't see anything and got bored, so i left her and made it to fifth row and even got to third on the end (in front of aaron, like always).

i couldn't see a lot of trent and alessandro, i could see even less of jeordie, but i had a quite good view of aaron-madman and jerome, so i kept watching aaron. i like that red handkerchief.

i got wettened from the top of my head to my knees, and i bet it wasn't only the water the securitys had thrown in theadiance, but also a lot of sweat and maybe some spit *disgusted*
sometimes i ask myself why i like going to gigs.

they played reptile, yaaaaahiiiiy! yaaaaah!

i couldn't see aaron slip on that water bottle, just kind of saw a lot of water splash around and aarons feet in the air, but already that looked kind of funny!

saul williams is awesome, i like him. i even knew and liked that 'list of demans' song, cause the independent radio station i listen to plays it quite often, but i didn't knew who it was from.

oh, really cool pics manu! THANK YOU

Thank God. Christo, you completely blank me out of that photograph; as from the angle it was taken at, I appear directly behind you! My shoulder is all that gives it away.

Nice work. I owe you.

Dude, you must have been right behind me. Stupidly tall guy, blue Weezer t-shirt on, right at the barrier between Aaron and Trent? Yeah, that was me.
Bricklayer
Hey, Neurobl, I think I remember that. Were you two relatively short girls? I remember holding back some of the crowd to make a path for them :P.

I was a quite tall guy, about 6'1, wearing a green army style shirt and was fortunate enough to get to sing into the mic during Piggy along with another guy.

It was one of the most memorable nights of my life, and most of the crowd was good, apart from a few people who were just behind the very front group where there was a little space and seemed to make it their duty to whack themselves off people. Makes me glad I'm a relatively tall guy ;).

I felt sorry for some of the smaller girls right at the front, squeezed in between big guys and probably with a poor view.

P.S. First post, lo there.
Bricklayer
Yes - very short indeed :) - well, I'm 5ft 3 so that's relatively short.

There were some really tall people there that night and I think I do remember you - did I hug you? I don't know - it was a bit chaotic and frankly I felt pretty damn stupid for taking my stuff into a flipping pit - but then I'd never done that before and I didn't really know what I was getting myself into.

Thanks you so much for helping us - I was quite surprised at how nice everyone was. There were a lot of people that just chipped in and started helping - I think there was a great atmosphere there that night.

I'm going to WashingtonDC & Philadelphia in November to catch the shows - and I won't be taking anything valuable with me again

My videos of this show are up on Demonoid - don't get your hopes up though, they're not so great. I was the kid in the Blueprint shirt.
