I got there as Wish was playing... having had to race from work. Terrible lie was just starting as I entered the Colliseum, but I completely missed the song while dealing with two retarded gothlings who were in me and my girlfriend's seats. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assunme they were drunk, but seriously... they must have been retarded. The exchange went something like this:
Me: Hey, those are our seats, but if you squish in we can all fit.
Retarded gothling: No, these are ours.
Me: *chuckle* No... section V, row 3, seats 1 and 2.
Retarded gothling: No, we're section V, row 3, 1 and 2.
Me: Umm... no... look *shows tickets* These are our seats, just squish in and we can all stay down here.
Retarded gothling: That's a "U" idiot.
Retarded gothling #2: U! UUUUUUUU! *makes "U" with fingers*
Retarded gothling: You're over there, we're V.
Me: ....No. We're V, you're not. Just squish in and we can all watch from here.
At that point the security guard flashes his flashlight on me and motions that I move in from the aisle.
I shrug at the retarded gothling and try to move in. Retarded gothling and reatarded gothling #2 make a sort of wall.
The security guard becomes more impatient.
During this, the gothlings are endlessly saying "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" and making "U" signs with their hands.
Oh well, I figure, and wander over to the security guy to verify that indeed those are my tickets. Sure enough, I'm in the right place. He asks to see the gothling's tickets. They make some big production about searching for them, find them, and, surprise surprise, they get sent off in different directions up into the blue seats.
Retards... I would have shared the space with them... but that's what you get when you're a retarded gothling harpy.
Anyway, the rest of the show was awesome. Crowd seemed a little tame, but songs like hurt, and strangely enough, Deep, got the energy up nice and cool.
The lights and sparklies and images were great... I'd go again in a second... well worth the $80.
