Oh My God! The show was amazing. They played DEEP, Reptile, and Mr. Self Destruct. :) Made my Valentine's!

Trent mentioned that there was no where else he'd rather be right now. It was really touching. The audience was really into it.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen -- My third NIN show after Milwaukee '00 and Madison '05 - and I might add, the greatest fucking rock performance I've ever seen -- hands down.

Opened with Pilgrimage chanting into Mr. Self Destruct (behind the opera gauze) - continued with (in no particular order) Sin, Terrible Lie, MOTPigs, Line Begins To Blur, The Frail/The Wretched, Gave Up, Closer, Burn, Eraser, Right Where It Belongs, Beside You In Time, The Collector, Wish, Deep, Reptile, Please, Only, Every Day Is Exactly The Same, Hurt, Starfuckers, Head Like A Hole (I may be missing one or two) -- great setlist, the crowd was really into it although there were plenty of seats still available... I wish I could have heard "Something I Can Never Have" but hearing Please and Mr. Self Destruct and the most kickass version of Reptile ever made up for it...

I'd be guilty of neglect if I didn't mention that although I've only ever been to three NIN shows, I have never seen as much onstage carnage as I witnessed this evening at the Resch - it was fucking chaotic. Trent, Jeordie and Aaron all smashed their gear during Head Like A Hole - Jeordie's guitar was smashed beyond repair mid song, so he spent the rest of the song at the mic. Aaron seemed to be really into it tonight, swinging his guitar to and fro, dry humping his amp and all - Trent dropped a mic stand into the security trench and threw his mic into the crowd several times - at one time I thought Alessandro was going to take a flying leap from the top of his keyboard stand but backed down... it was fucking crazy. Plus for those who were there and sitting in the seats, did you see the pit during "March of The Pigs"? Unfuckingbelievable.

At one point, Trent mentioned that "Tonight feels pretty good to me - in fact there's no place that I'd rather be... and I'm not just saying that, I mean it..." or something to that effect. A very cool thing to say, and if by chance you should happen to come upon this review, Trent, Alessandro, Jeordie, Aaron and Josh, you guys kicked my fucking ass tonight - you should definitely be proud. Valentine's day sucks ass, but you guys made my day... See you again soon, I hope...

Tonight's show was AWESOME, but it felt like it was 2 different shows in one...

The band was on FIRE during the first 6-8 songs (until the Eraser/RWIB/BYIT breakdown)...they were really energetic, really goofy and just having a fun time. Then, after the breakdown, they got kind of mellow and weren't really interacting so much anymore until Starfuckers again when they started going crazy and HLAH which was off the hook.

Speaking of HLAH, it was HILARIOUS when Jeordie's guitar stopped working and he smashed it during the final chorus or whatever. It really sounded like Aaron's was barely working either. But seeing Jeordie just singing with no guitar made me smile. What a guy. :)

I loved it when he and Aaron went to opposite sides of the stage. It was quite jarring to see them out of place.

Alessandro was ridiculous tonight. He stood on his keyboard, I swear, no less than 5 times. He was jumping around and being all goofy, and during Mr. Self Destruct, Aaron and Jeordie were pushing him and goofing around; it was hilarious and awesome.

All in all, this was an amazing show...I had a fucking blast, great spots (dead center about 40 feet back) and a pretty clear view for the most part. Had they played The Big Comedown, it would've been the best of the four I just saw, but because that was omitted, I feel like Moline or Champaign was the best. Deep was a nice treat and I really like this new chatty Trent. It seems like this band has gone in a completely new and much more friendly and dynamic direction which is just spectacular.

This setlist was like an amalgamation of the first three nights, which was pretty sweet. Man...it's nice to be home and not have to worry about how rowdy the pit is going to be or if I'm going to get a good spot without some big head in the way...but I'm kinda sad my NIN touring is done until this apparent summer tour. :(

It was a fucking awesome run, and I can only imagine that it's going to get better. Every night, I got to hear/see a song I've never heard/seen live before which was awesome. I couldnt' have asked for a better 4 nights. :)

Oh, and it seems that:

Pilgrimage = Mr. Self Destruct
Pinion = Love is Not Enough/other? (I assume Wish will open at some point)
OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my second NIN show after last saturday @ Milwaukee. Man, I have to say, this one kicked ass! INFUCKINGCREDIBLE!
Not only was the show better than the Milwaukee one because of the set list (they played Deep, Reptile and Starfuckers again!), but because of the whole works too! light show and everything! And to see the Aaron, Jordie and Trent smash their guitars at the end of HLAH (or the end of the show if u will) made my fucking day, specially Aaron and Jordie, they really destroyed those guitars. Overall, it was fucking great.

I had been planing to go to this show after the one they put up @ the Rave in Milwaukee, but i didnt had nobody to come with, so i was putting my hopes to sleep (plus i had shit to do and go to work etc)...BUT, when one of my friends saw me monday wearing my brand new NIN shirt, he asked me if i had gone to the show and i replied yes and said that i might be going to the greren bay show but that i had nobody to go with, so i asked him and he signed up at the spot!
As soon as class was over i ran to the computer, logged in to eBay and bought 2 tickets for 44.99!!! Ain't that a deal? And since i was going to pick them up once i arrived to GB, i had to pay no shipping or anything, just gas...but hey, i really dont care about the money, i probably would have paid 50 bucks a piece if i had to, but money is no excuse to miss the show this guys offer. I called-in sick for work, load up with food and beer for the road and off we go! Once we got to GB, we picked up the tix, parked, had a couple of shots and well...the rest is history...really!
NIN fucking rules! Im glad i saw them twice in 4 days. Those days made my whole month! What a way to spend Valentines!
One thing that i noticed too were the dozens of empty seats...weird shit...
Bricklayer
empty seats is nothing new in Green Bay.
Master of the Ninth Arch
Finally got back to Madison after the show. Not a whole lot to add really, I think DJ_LIVEWIRE got all the highlights of the set (if anything was missed there it was just one of the "standard" rotation they're doing now). Deep was fucking awesome, I totally wasn't expecting them to play that. That plus Mr. Self Destruct and Please made it a totally fantastic experience.

I really wouldn't be able to say whether this or last fall's Madison show was better. The sound quality wasn't as good in GB as in Madison, but that's to be expected from a hockey rink. This setlist seemed longer to me - that was almost exactly 2 hours, wasn't it? I'm still in awe that Trent+co can consistently put on shows this intense night after night. I can't imagine what kind of energy it takes to keep on doing that. (Apparently my brain's just hit the sleep-wall now, so I'll just let this paragraph trail off.)

Moving Units were fine, I thought. Audience was receptive and polite where I was, though a number of people were clearly bored. They're certainly not BAD - if I was into their style of music I'd have enjoyed 'em quite a bit. They played a nice short set, seeming very aware that people were there to see NIN, not them.
Master of the Ninth Arch
Was I the only one who noticed Trent sneak up behind and hump Aaron in between one of the songs?

And yes Alessandro was indeed ridiculous standing on his keyboard and stuff.

I got myself nicely pushed up into the front few rows off to the left. Close enough to get herpes from Jeordie. The show was really fun, the set list was great. This is my third 'Nails show (MadisonWI Fragility and the Coachella shows being the others) and by far the best. It might have all been on account of being so close to the front this time. Close enough to see the individual threads in the theater curtain, close enough to count the screws on Trent's guitar (14) as well as Jeordie's bass (12), close enough to get hit with water. Oh man, it was great.
I have just a question.

What is the platform behind Josh that everyone keeps talking baout?
is it used for some kind of purpose in the show?
All The Love In The World...

...still a no show for whole of the tour to date. :(

Hopefully someone will get that sorted at some point soon <wink wink, nudge, nudge>
Bricklayer
I could be wrong but this is my best guess of what the setlist was:

1_Pilgrimage(intro)
2_Mr. Self Destruct
3_Sin
4_Terrible Lie
5_March of the Pigs
6_Line Begins to Blur
7_Closer
8_Burn
9_Gave Up
10_Eraser (video projection)
11_Right Where it Belongs (vp)
12_Beside You in Time (vp)
13_The Collector
14_Wish
15_Only
16_Deep
17_Everyday is Exactly the Same
18_Please
19_Reptile
20_Hurt
21_Hand that Feeds
22_Stafuckers inc
23_Head Like a Hole

Still prefer Pinion opening the show. If Mr. Self Destruct didnt get everyone pumped up, Sin did. TR spent a good portion of Closer on top of one of the giant speakers, thought that was pretty cool, everything was red. Was happy about the curtain/video projection for Eraser, Right Where it Belongs and Beside You in Time. Reptile was amazing. Hurt was equally amazing. And Head like a Hole...well you already know what happened.

This was my 4th show total. Was at the Milw show on Saturday and even though Im from Milw, thought the Green Bay show kicked its ass. I dont know what it was but Hurt really stood out to me.
so i'm not the BIGGEST NIN fan, but I must say, last nite was the BEST fuckin' Valentine's Day I've ever had!!! :) the show was absolutely AMAZING!!!

so here's my question....i tried to look it up and saw that Jerome Dillon is having medical problems?

I think you were close but I know for a fact that TLBTB came before March of the pigs, and I'm almost positive that Closer came after The Frail/The Wretched. I'm almost positive the Deep came after EDIETS and please, too, because Trent said, "One more slow song and then we'll speed things up again." Reptile followed immediately after EDIETS, then Please and when he said the above quote, I was really hoping for The Big Comedown to be next after Please for even more Fragile.

I should've been texting myself or something so I'd know. Idiot.

I'm going to give this my final okay...I think there may be a little mix up with The Collector, Wish and Only, but I honestly can't remember. That's as close as I can get it to correct.

EDIT: to the above post, the "jizz on my face" thing gets put in there when you type in a certain phrase. I don't know exactly what it is, but whe it's put in, a filter changes it to "jizz on my face." There are a bunch of them that change all sorts of things to all sorts of other things.

His name is Josh Freese. He's a drummer whore. He drums for everyone. He is probably one of the best drummers of our current time. He rocks and is amazing live.

The show in Green Bay was awesome! It doesn't quite top the show in Milwaukee, put it was up there!

His name is Josh Freese. He drummed in APC, Black Light Burns and The Damning Well, to name a few of the most recent bands, besides NIN.

EDIT: No, as I said above, it's a word filter for everyone. I don't know what the phrase is that triggers it, but when that combination of words appears, the board replaces it with "jizz on my face."

The concert was fucking amazing. First time I have heard "Deep" live and it was awesome. My friend Alex and I both left with parts of Jeordie's bass. I thought that I would post a picture of it.

Shit. I did not even realize I wrote bass. I do not know what I was thinking. My bad.
Bricklayer
No wonder Jeordie smashed that guitar, it was a fucking Squier. They sell those at guitar center for like $150. It's probably more useful as a bludgeoning tool than an actual musical instrument. Well worth destroying.

There is no bass guitar in Head Like a Hole. I doubt Jeordie put away his guitar and got out a bass to smash that when his guitar stopped working about halfway through the song.
Bricklayer
It's definitely a guitar, the tuning pegs and the head are way too small to be for a bass, plus there's always 3 guitars when they play HLAH live. The keyboard part takes care of the low end rhythm on that song, and Jeordie plays guitar.

They obviously buy cheap ass guitars cuz they smash em every night. I wouldn't demolish a 2000 dollar gibson, or dean that they use throughout the rest of the show. When i get a new guitar, you better believe my squire will be demolished too. lol. Gotta love em for that. Its all about the distruction. Ever seen vids from previous shows? holy fuck.

Yeah, at the Milwaukee show I was hoping that Aaron would have destroyed the guitar he was using, since there wasn't even any printing on the headstock of the guitar. He just knocked it around a little bit, and Trent tossed his guitar up over Alessandro's spot at the end. I'm hoping that Trent will trash a keyboard pretty soon, it's probably been a while. If I remember correctly, Trent knocked over one of the LCD lights during MOTP at the Milwaukee as well. (Sorry about talking about Milwaukee in the Moline thread, but it looks like this thread could use some more posts anyway).
