Post reviews here.

And for the record, getting to Atlantic City from NYC is much more of a pain in the ass than necessary. All of you big-haired South Jersey motherfuckers can suck my dick.
Awesome show, FUCK YOU to those that through shoes... didn't you learn anything from the lighter incident?

Trent stopped during piggy to say "someone is smoking pot" while he was in the crowd, and a girl finished the song.
this was the most intense concert experience of my life. I had so much energy and yet at the end of the concert I was so physically and emotionally drained. Trent is a master showman. Did anyone at the show hear him say "intrepid boy" during one of his songs? I loved the way Trent talked to the crowd. It was the most words that I ever heard him string together outside of a song. Enough. I can die happy.
Master of the Ninth Arch
excellent concert.. nothing at all I could complain about. Finally got to hear deep live.

Saul Williams was absolutely incredible even though most people around me were not that into it. I went to his poetry reading/book signing in town today and just amazed. He is extremely nice and definitely worth taking the time to go listen to him. He answered a few questions... talking about his music (see nin.com current photo). He talked briefly about Trent co-producing his new album while on tour with them.

So i'm tired and cannot remember the exact setlist someone else can post it..
Incredible show. I had trents hand in my hand, then i rubbed his head. Ask me what shampoo he uses. Holy shit thats awesome. he just kinda popped out of no where before piggy and started singing to the whole front bar of the floor. Wow. Awesome man.
Master Traveler
HOLY SHIT. Every bit as good as Lexington and Cincinnati. Such a different setlist from those two. Here's an attempt at the setlist, might be in wrong order or missing songs but here goes.

1. Pilgrimage
2. Mr. Self Destruct
3. Sin
4. Terrible Lie
5. The Line Begins To Blur
6. March Of The Pigs
7. The Frail
8. The Wretched
9. Closer
10. Burn
11. Gave Up
12. Eraser
13. Right Where It Belongs
14. Beside You In Time
15. Piggy
16. Wish
17. Only
18. Every Day Is Exactly The Same
19. Please
20. Reptile
21. Deep
22. Hurt
23. The Hand That Feeds
24. Head Like A Hole

Seems right, can anyone vouch?

You are missing Reptile and Burn I think. :-)

And yes, it was a kick-ass show!
Master Traveler
Oh yeah, my bad. Let me fix that. Where was Reptile?
Master of the Ninth Arch
Mmmm, good times! Please and Reptile were both awesome! Deep was pretty cool as well even tho I dont really know that song.

Did anything else think that there were about twice as many people on the floor as there should have been?

Good times!
Grand Pontiff
It was a really AWESOME show, that's all I have to say for now. I'm WIPED. Drove back 4 hours straight from the show. zzzzzzz

Trent talked ALOT. Paragraphs actually. He hugged up with a fan (girl) in the front row and let her sing Piggy! She actually wasn't that half bad! He let her do 3 repeats of the chorus! And then afterwards basically said he was feeling great nowadays and said "I just got intimate with a fan." AWESOME! These are the two parts I liked the most (if my brain is working right, im too tired)
Grand Pontiff
Have they played Happiness in Slavery during this tour? That and Somewhat damaged would make the perfect setlist.
Bricklayer
What a show! Too bad there weren't more songs that I haven't heard at previous shows, but to be honest I could hear this set list again and again. Burn always kills, Deep, Reptile, unreal!

Even the shirtless, knuckle-dragging mouthbreathers seemed to be into it. Or were they just there for the sanctioned violence? I can never be sure... ;)

DOES ANYONE HAVE A LITHOGRAPH FROM LAST NIGHT'S GIG THAT THEY CAN PART WITH? They sold out as I stood there to buy one. What a dumbass...

Awesome show! I actually liked this one more than the Nashville show. Loved the additions to the setlist. And we actually like Saul Williams. We were a bit hesitant, but he was really good. My husband Saul reminds him of Bionic Jive. Cool show & hope they come back to K-ville in the future.
Bricklayer
Absolutely amazing concert. So much better than the last one I went to in Atlanta back in October. I still haven't regained my voice nor the majority of my strength. so much energy!

Saul Williams was incredible. I totally went in there expecting not to like him at all, but man, was I wrong. I was absolutely blown away by him and would LOVE to see him perform again in the future.

That was the most incredibly perfect setlist, imo. I sat there before the show with my fingers and toes crossed, hoping they'd open with Pilgrimage and Mr Self Destruct. When I heard the chanting from Pilgrimage, I got so excited and started screaming before anyone else around me realized the show was about to start. Fucking amazing way to start. Trent was actually talkative during this show! It was such a shock. And he actually looked like he was enjoying himself and giving his all (something I haven't seen him do at other shows I've been to). Sin was awesome. Sounded like Trent actually nailed the "Through every forest" part. Gave Up freaking rocked. Much respect to the girl singing during Piggy. She was actually pretty good. Did anyone else see Trent having a hard time making it back up on stage after being in the crowd? He just about fell on the poor security guy that was helping to boost him up. Loved the background during EDIETS. Very cool and set it apart from the rest of the effects during other songs. Reptile was absolutely amazing. Even the bf that doesn't really know a lot of NIN music was totally blown away by it. So happy to get to finally hear Deep. That was badass. Nice to see that the lighter incident isn't keeping Trent from performing Hurt anymore. And of course HLAH was a badass closer.

There was just so much energy at that show. Everyone was so into the music, and we were all just feeding off of each other's excitement.

One more thing. Sorry to the people around me who had to put up with my singing/screaming throughout the entire concert. I know I suck, but I couldn't help myself. :)
I was lucky enough to be "Promoter for a Day" at the Knoxville, TN show last night (3/13/06) and it was a fuckin' awesome day. My name was on the marquee out front and had total access to backstage . . . really cool!!! We were extremely fortunate to be allowed in their dressing room to meet the band. They were really cool to us. All the guys were great. They talked & joked with us for awhile, with black lights & strobes making it all seem very surreal. What an experience . . . it was a true Rock 'n Roll moment. When I asked Trent if they were opening up with Mr. Self Destruct, he said that if he told me he'd have to kill me :) Got everyone's autograph and had an absolutely kick-ass time. The show was killer. They rocked the house down and crowd participation was insane. Everyone was having a great time. I think they were pleasantly surprised by the response here in K-Town. It was a day that I didn't want to end . . . a once in a lifetime experience. NIN Rules !!!!!

Master Traveler
great show. the whole experience was quite nice, actually.

traffic was easy, parking cheap (compared to atl, nash), security friendly and quick; yet the concessions left plenty to be desired. haha...guess that's what you get in a tiny hockey arena for a minor league team.

dude in line in front of me got tickets from josh freese when he took josh's order at starbucks. ?!?!?!?

i wish there were more than just the one saul williams t-shirt. that's the only merch i wanted to pick up. we have shirts from the last 2 times we've seen nails on the various WT tours (and plenty of others from fragility and self destruct tours).

saul was awesome. great tunes. his dj was good. more d'n'b-like than on his cds. dumb ass crowd has to cheer for the line "...confiscating weed supplies and replacing them with magic mushrooms..." - saul changed the next line saying something about "growing up..." and then ended the song. put on a good, short, energetic set.

setlist above for nails is correct. great setlist, imo. was hoping for the pilgrimage/msd opening...and was quite excited when i realized the chanting was not just a bunch of frat boys on the floor chanting for trent or some other silly shit. it was the start...

great show. we sat in row 1, sec CC so we had a pretty much head-on view of the stage/lights. i think the lights/effects on this tour pretty much destroy the fragility tour. everything was excellent. really well done. some nice suprises in the setlist as well - deep, please, piggy. deep sounded really good live, if you can overlook the silly lyrics of course. hahaha. please was well-done. and piggy really showed off how much better of a drummer josh is compared to the others. he really showed off at the end of piggy - trent was just standing at his mic watching josh hammer the hell out of his drumset. sorry alex, you sucked. sorry jerome, not up to par with josh. and trent sing-saying 'someone's smoking pot' during the piggy verse was hilarious. amazing show.

the drive home sucked. poured rain, i mean poured. took us 2:40 to make a 1:45 drive back to chattanooga. hope everyone made it home safely.

The drive back WAS awful. We didn't make it back to the noog until 12:45, but from what I've heard, that was pretty fast compared to others. I thought I was going to die a few times passing some trucks, but at least I would have died happy.

Oh, and Aaron didn't seem to be suffering any ill effects from his little accident a few nights ago... but I noticed that he wasn't swinging his guitar around quite as erratically as he used to.

Shit, my fucking wipers wouldn't turn on last night so i had to sit on the side of I-40 for an hour 'till the rain stopped so I could drive back home to Atlanta! I didn't make it home till 3:30...oh well I didn't die and that's all that counts. Perhaps I'll go have my truck looked at this weekend, hopefully there will be no rain on the way to Greenville on Thursday.

Wasnt the version of closer they played an alternate one? I thought it switched back and forth there and the end.
I was the girl Trent sung Piggy with...absolutely incredible. I cannot put into words how much that meant to me, so I won't try. I loved this show, obviously, but Deep and Reptile were nice to hear, as was Frail/Wretched which hadn't been played in awhile. And I LOVED Saul Williams...his lyrics are fucking amazing.

And thank you for saying I sang Piggy well, whoever said that. I was so into it, my whole body was shaking...and having my face pushed up against Trent's made it even harder not to freak out. I even tried to add the little 'woo ahhh' that he does towards the end when he plays it live. Thank god I obssesively watched AATCHB DVD and Closure for years so I remembered every little thing about the lyrics...never thought I'd ever get to do this.

Much love to Mark and Brandi for great Spiral relations and a big fuck you to the Spiral person who posted saying I sounded like Ashley Simpson.
Master Traveler
You sounded fucking awesome - I was screaming with you from where I was ^-^.

Yeah, You did awesome. Im sure trent was proud :p

Awesome show. This was my fourth time seeing NIN in the past year and I think it was my second favorite show (first being the first night at the Tabernacle in Atlanta last spring). Great setlist - I was afraid I wouldn't hear but one or two new songs, but I actually got four.

I went to the Saul Williams thing at Borders which was really cool. His set at the show was quite good too.

Mr. Self Destruct destroyed. It was the highlight of the night for me.

The "somebodys smoking poooot" was really funny. The girl singing Piggy (a few posts above me!) was kind of cool. I caught a microphone and sang during HLAH at one show but it definitely wasn't anything like what she experienced.

Aaron was definitely more low-key than the other times I have seen him. Guess we can attribute that to his incident the other night.

Josh Freese was the best drummer they've had out of the three I've seen. By far. I liked how he switched up Piggy with the drum rolls.

All in all, another amazing show. Keep on rocking!
This was the first concert I've ever been to and... man! I can't describe how awesome it all was to me. Been a fan for about 4 years and when I heard they were coming to Knoxville I bought tickets as quick as I could. My brother and I sat up in the upper balcony of Q.

I was completely blown away with ONE HELL OF A PERFORMANCE. Mr. Self Destruct, Gave Up, Wish, Closer... The playlist couldn't have been any better for me, completely perfect, they played every single song I ever wanted to hear them play, and the light show was fantastic. I'm definitely going to see them again next time they're near Knoxville

Hats off (not shoes) to Trent Reznor.
Bricklayer
the show was incredible, it was just so amazing. i was in the very front when trent was down there for piggy. the "intimate" part was people all over him. the girl i was standing next was hugging him while he was standing on the barrier and pretty much had her head in his crotch. it was so awesome, the best show ever!
I am a NIN fan, probably not as big as you all on here are, but I have been to many of concerts in Knoxville but none with the crow so into it. I was shocked with how into the show the crowd was. "March of the Pigs" is one of my favorites and I was so glad to see it played live. The crowd during that song was rocking!

Does anybody know if NIN ever plays "Dead Souls" from The Crow? I would have loved to have heard that one.
They play dead souls occaisionally i think. i saw them play it this year in cincy. I have seen them in Lexington, Cincy, and Knoxville and the Knoxville show was easily the best show of the three. The setlist was great, and Trent seemed more energetic than usual. Also the crowd was the best crowd of the three show I have been to.

I've been to a couple of concerts and this one is the best one I've saw. But yea...the whole "somebody's smoking pot" thing was hilarious ^_^ To the girl who sang Piggy: You did great...I probably would've been to freaked out to even attempt it but I would've tryed lmao.
Man awesome show! I've been to 3 on the WT Tour and this was the best! If anyone got an extra litho I'll pay about $25 for it. They sold out while I was on line :( My e-mail address is jesse@utk.edu if anyone has anything! "Someone's smoking the pot!"

What's this lighter incident about?
At a previous show, someone threw a lighter at trent during hurt... he was injured and pushed the keyboard over and ended the show right then... obviously he was upset and who could blame him? You fuckers need to stop throwing shit, its stupid.
Bricklayer
I feel that this is the best touring version of Nine Inch Nails EVER!!!!! Alessandro rules!!! I love that he chooses to actually play most of the synth parts instead of relying on a sequencer. March of the Pigs KILLS with him leading in the song with the synth bass. This is my second show this tour (Lexington was the first), and I have to say that they have been the best two shows I've ever seen. It was good to hear Please last night, and Deep was also great live. Looking forward to the summer tour!!!
Master Traveler
Clocksrun, you are my hero. Your Cincy vids were amazing, I can't wait to see your Knoxville vids.
Great show, best one yet. Was a bit disappointed to not have the meet and greet & soundcheck, but with Deep, Mr. Self Destruct, and Please, I forgive completely.

I stood in front of the soundboard, so big ups to the short lady next to my friend and got some pictures and video, you are very awesome. Saul Williams was good.

(^ thanks traz... and nice pictures above me)

This was easily one of the best shows this year for me... in the top 3, for sure! If you were there, you know why. Just what I was hoping for my last (before I was informed thru a text during the show of summer dates, ha!), and more. It seems each show I go to is a landmark of some kind... Piggy was it this time, obviously. And uh, catching a water bottle like it was nothing, not to mention before Hurt, catching Trent's towel thing. All thanks to the security guard who saw it all: me fighting for it with this enormous, shirtless sweaty guy (bigger than the guard himself) to my left who wasn't against the rail to begin with (with the help of a kid to my right who was also grabbing it, but only helped because of it being tugged in that direction- I was in the middle of the two), broke it up and said "It goes to... the guy in the middle", haha... and I would have it after the show. That was funny/lucky.

I'm choosing not to include a lot I've got this time, but just the jist of it. Take guesses.

Haha cool that you actually recognized me! You shoulda come over and said hey man! I wouldve loved to meet you. Maybe we can meet up for some of the other nearby shows. Thanks about the pics. I was just gonna mention that that's me and my girlfriend in the background at the very end of your pre-show vid.

Also, THANKS ALOT for the Piggy vid. Anyway you can YouSendIt a copy of the mpeg or something so I can save it to my computer?

More pics, tried to pick all the ones that were salvageable as far as quality goes:

Trent standing on equipment during "Closer"

And my favorite:

Sorry I'm not the greatest at taking pictures. First time trying out of all my NIN shows. Camera isn't so great either, but I'm planning on getting a new one soon.

Oh also here's Me and Saul Williams. The quality is kinda crap because my gf didn't know what she was doing with the camera and captured a video instead of taking a pic and I took the best looking still out of the vid that I could and brightened it a bit. I showed her how afterwards and she took a pic but my camera is really sensitive to movement and it didn't focus right.

No problem guys ^ glad to help out with that one. I only wish I had changed the entire card for that song... but getting that moment was what was most on my mind. So yeah, was quite anxious to see it finally for myself even. That whole moment was a total blur... went kinda fast, or in slow motion, I can't decide. I had a feeling Piggy would come after Beside You In Time after seeing some recent setlists... so I got my thing ready. As BYIT ended, I noticed he walked right back into the stage, lights flicked off, and before I knew it he was right to my left. Didn't think the video would turn out that clear at all. Especially after the water splashage... and he did that all-show-long!

I had so much fun at that show! It was the best I've been to. My friend and I got to the venue around 11, and we met some completely awesome people. Big props to Taylor who brought water and fruit snacks, and props to the people who decided to order pizza, and everyone else I met there. Also, the seven person UNO game was awesome, I'll have pics up as soon as I can =).

The concert was so sweet. Saul Williams kicked major ass. I can't wait to see him again in Pensacola. And the crowd was so awesome! I had seats, so I watched as everyone was so into it. I loved it when Trent talked to us, it showed how he really appreciated his fans.

Did anyone else get stuck in that horrible traffic through Chatanooga? We got held back an hour getting home because of it. It sucked, because it really brought down my energy, and later on I fell asleep at the wheel driving home and crashed my friend's car. =( We're both okay, but his car got pretty beat up. We're lucky to be alive... But anyways, it was an awesome night and I wouldn't have missed it for anything!!

Yeah that video is awesome, Clocksrun. Totally cool. Glad you did the YouSendIt, MUCH better quality than the YouTube crap compression.
I've only seen Nails twice, Halloween in Nashville and the Knoxville show. The Knoxville show def blew the nash out of the water. I was right dead cent 1 person back when Trent came out for Piggy. I didn't c it coming iy was so freakin awesome. To the girl above you did fucking great!!!!!!!!! What happened to Aaron????????

I think payday I'm going to become a spiral member, and try to go to the 2 shows in NC and maybe the one at Virginia Beach. Knoxville was 4 hours away for me n my friends, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Much, MUCH thanks for the pics and the videos, they kick so much ass. That show was amazing! I saw NIN in DC last November and thought that show was great too, but this one blew that one outta the water. Trent was so talkative and seemed so personable with the crowd. I've gotten the FLAC file off of DIME and it sounds amazing. I can try to send it to people as a compressed file seeing as it's almost 1.3 gigs. I believe you need to have a media player that plays FLAC files in order for it to work.

That would be awesome erica, Try sending it to the email i posted above if you dont mind :)

that is awsome, that everyone says that Trent was so talkitive, this is my first long-awaited nin concert, I certainly was impressed..........I am glad I got to see such a good one... And many thanks to everyone that posted pics a video clips, that is so cool...

I can try to send it to people as a compressed file seeing as it's almost 1.3 gigs. I believe you need to have a media player that plays FLAC files in order for it to work.
i hate to beg... but if you wouldn't mind sending the file to me (brkell2@uky.edu) as well, i'd REALLY appreciate it. thanx.

Hey guys - so i compressed the audio file but it's still HUGE so i don't think i can email it cause it's 1.24 gigs compressed. yousendit also has a limit of 1 gig for uploading files so i can't do that either. If anyone has any other ideas let me know, other than that i suggest going to www.dimeadozen.org and downloading the file and then download something like bittorrent or bittornado to piece the file together. this is how i was able to get it. it's excellent quality as well. thanks to whoever posted it! sorry i can't email it guys.
Erika, Contact me at aciddrop@gmail.com and let me know of a way to contact you through msn, yahoo or somthing, I may have an idea for ya.

kick ass concert. it sucks that they didn't play starfuckers inc. but they played a bunch of other kick ass songs.
Master Traveler
Alright I've got the show - FUCKING ACE QUALITY. Whoever taped this - damn dude, you KICK ASS.

Ok. This show was pretty freaking awesome...

It seemed that the setlist came out of nowhere... I mean... did anyone really expect to hear a live rendition of "Deep" or "Please". Those tracks caught me completey off gaurd... But then again I went into this show as "spoiler free" as I could... When I saw them in 2000 I pretty much had memorized the entire setlist... I wanted this show to be a surprise and I was not even close to being let down... Openning with "Mr. Self Destruct" was unreal... Seeing that live was great...

Anyway... I did have some minor letdowns... I was looking forward to hearing "You know what you are"... I figured that to be a great song live, but they did do "Only" which I didn't expect... so that balances out... and as much as "Starfuckers, Inc." seems to be hated amongst the fans... it really is a kick-ass tune when played live... oh yeah... and I went with my girl on her "potty break" while they did "Eraser"... I'll never forgive her for that...

Back to the light side of things... "Burn" was played and I couldn't have been happier about that... and "Reptile" was a pleasent surprise even though it's one of my least favorite album tracks...

And another thing... to all the people staying at the marriot hotel... you all were cool as hell... not like anyone is reading this, but oh well... our whole floor was a bunch of NIN fans...

Anyway... if I don't post again untill then... I'll see you guys in Raliegh on June 9th... that ampitheater is a great place to see a show... and this will mark my first time seeing NIN twice in the same year...

dankbasehead wrote:Great show, best one yet. Was a bit disappointed to not have the meet and greet & soundcheck, but with Deep, Mr. Bukkake, and Please, I forgive completely.

I stood in front of the soundboard, so big ups to the short lady next to my friend and got some pictures and video, you are very awesome. Saul Williams was good.

Sorry, dank that you didn't get backstage for the meet 'n greet. It was one of the most awesome experiences. Absolutely NO ONE was allowed backstage . . . no media, no photographers, etc. There were only 4 of us allowed back (2 winners & their guests). It was so freakin' surreal. Having a "working pass" kicked major ass! I still can't believe we got to hang with the guys in their dressing room. I didn't want it to end. And the show was so powerful, so incredible . . . beyond words! I've seen a few negative postings and just don't get it. Some people are hell-bent on only seeing the negative side of life. They need to get the hell over it and ENJOY !!!
Here's the link to download the torrent file that's on dime cause i guess alot of you guys can't get on it.

download this and then download bittornado or bittorrent and run it through that and you'll be all set.
thanks for the link to dl the concert. looking foreward to seeing NIN live in Knoxville again (hopefully sometime soon)
i was one of the guys who ordered pizza in line for the concert.

doesnt reznor let someone sing in the crowd during "piggy" every show?
I'm having tech problems and can't get the torrent file to download for this show. If someone on soul seek with the file or if there is another way someone could send me the file I would be eternally greatful and so would my friends who went to the show with me.

I am also getting erros in Bittorrent saying my shareratio needs to be .25 or higher, any suggestions?

I know I am late. This was the first concert I had ever gone to. My mother took me as a late 21st birthday gift.

Totally blew me away. Loved every minute of it. I was fortunate enough to have been given a floor ticket right before the show, so I left the balcony to check out what was going on at the computer terminals about half way through.

Even thinking about it leaves me speechless.

The rain afterwards was so awful that we had to pull over and eat at a Waffle House, which was good, because I needed comfort food after all of that!
