Setlist was something like...

Opened with Mr. Self-destruct
Followup with You Know What You Are

then the following are definitely not in the right order:

Only
Hurt
Wish
Gave Up
Terrible Lie
Burn
Starfuckers, Inc
Closer
Sin
The Hand That Feeds
Suck
March of the Pigs
Piggy

They closed up with Head Like a Hole.

I wish I could've enjoyed this more than I did, but my glasses got knocked off after I got dragged into the Avenged Sevenfold (UGH) moshpit (UGH x2) and I couldn't see shit for the rest of the night, so I couldn't see Trent at fucking all. All I saw was a silhouette. I feel kind of cheated.

That was one fucking rocking silhouette, though.

Too bad they didn't play AATCHB, but I really doubt they will anytime soon.
That was one hell of a show i believe it beat a whole bunch of peoples expectations even trent said that the show was turning out pretty well also they played for an hour and fifteen mintues which was pretty good considering they put up an awesome set. It sure beat the voodoo festival experience... also if anyone noticed trent was walking around the festival today i actually got to say hello to him it was an amazing moment. i had like a 3min convo about the hurricane and how i missed them...anyone know about any more summer dates because he said that there coming back here but he hasnt checked the website so either he doesnt know whats going on or more dates to come.....man that show kicked my ass good night to all I AM FULL!

IT WAS AWESOME! though i didnt like the stage set up it worked just fine. during piggy i sang the beginning lines to the song with Trent it was awesome.

Unbelievable fucking show! dude's setlist looks just about right. We got jipped of a few of the With Teeth songs he's been doin this tour like EDIETS but regardless the show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!. Great energy from the band and the crowd. I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't know what to expect from the whole thing but shit trent turnt it out!!!! His little sexy pelvic jirations during Burn made me and my friend googoo gaga
I almost died! But it was worth it. I was in the pit for like 5 hours before NIN came out to get as close as possible. I'm a skinny girl but I held my ground and I didn't bail. I was about 10 rows back... everyone pushing all the time was annoying as fuck, especially the ones who were pushing were huge. I gave all my energy and again it WAS WORTH IT. Too bad I couldn't stay on the rail when Trent came down, by that time I was moved like 10 ft away. Heard my friend Henry sing, that was great. Jeordie was the most energetic I've ever seen and it was very entertaining.. he lost it like twice and it was pretty funny. I was SO HAPPY to hear Mr.Self Destruct as the opener. They played amazing. Even though it wasn't a full set but it was still awesome.

It fucking rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrocked.
Mr. Self Destruct

The Hand That Feeds
Starfuckers, Inc.
Head Like a Hole

Not much said by Trent. Pretty much said "wow, we didn't expect this." "here is something we did for natural born killers. Actually did it here in miami." for starfuckers after "don't you," he said, "well it's not."

Overall it was the closest thing to a NIN greatest hits show. Very fun. Fireworks going off durring Head Like a Hole was a nice little touch...

It was a fucking amazing show. I was in the front close to the stage on the right side. I fucking loved it.

Yeah, I saw Trent + Friends walking around aswell. This guy who was with us saw him and walked back to the other side of the park where we were to come and tell us. Then we went all the way back to see them. I didnt notice Trent at first but I instantly recognized Aaron. Trent had on a hat and sun glasses. I was like "Oh my gosh its really them!". So the rest of the show, I had to walk around with urine stained pants. jk.

Oh, and there was this obnoxious fucker screaming and shit during Hurt. I wanted to punch him in his throat. He was just angry at himself because he didnt know the words.
Very good show. It was my 4th on this tour. The band seemed to have a lot of energy. Jeordie was rockin' out on several songs. I saw him headbanging. Never seen him that animated. I was surprised to hear them play "Starfuckers, Inc" in its entirety. The only gripe I have is that they didn't get to perform their full set due to time constraints. Bummer we didn't get "Every Day Is Exactly The Same", "Reptile", or maybe a "Dead Souls". The highlight of the show for me was "Piggy" even though none of the people singing were very good. Josh is such a dynamic drummer. He improvised so much last night but especially on "Piggy". He adds his own flavor for sure.

All in all, the festival was great. The production quality was top-notch. Look forward to coming back next year.

Goddamnit, I paid 65 dollars so I could see NIN and after staying the entire day I had to leave right before Rob Zombie, so I missed NIN.

I had fun during Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, and Killswitch though. The fireworks going off right before Avenged Sevenfold started up was awesome. When they started going off fast and the lights on the stage started strobing, I was soooo fucking excited.

Did anybody by any chance take pics? There were some great moments to be caught. I just wish I had brought my camera. I thought security wouldn't let anybody with them in so I didn't bother.
Grand Pontiff
I should be getting some pictures soon.

Btw.... did anyone hear Trent say something like "Someone stuck a finger in my ass"? LMAO. I was like double yew tee eff mate?

It turns out that one of the people I was at the concert with did actually stick his finger there.

LMAO, no, I can't remember him saying that... I didn't think that was the sort of thing to be saying out loud. *chuckles*

*edit*
Ok, now I remember him saying that! I thought you said it as if Trent were asking it. I misread that. oops.

hha I remember him saying that! I didnt know if anyone dared to do that, but I guess they did haha

Fucking amazing show last night, great set list, I have been waiting FOREVER to see NIN live, and it was AWESOME! I got some pretty great pictures, I was right on the rail up front.

Yeah, he said it alright. The only reason I didnt bust out laughing when he said it was because I couldnt beleive my ears. I was thinking "Did he really just say that?!"
Bricklayer
This was a good introduction for first-timers!!! As someone mentioned earlier, the setlist was a greatest hits package. Nothing exciting except for Mr. Self Destruct!!! Was it a bad show? No. Was it acceptable? Sure. Would I ever go to a festival and wait 6 hrs plus to see them? Hell no! Those from the South Florida area who missed them last time around and decided to save their money for Pensacola did the smartest thing! You didn't miss much! This was a crappy festival, with crap dance music, half-assed wannabe rock, except for an Coheed and Cambria who exceptionally good and Zombie who put on a decent show. His set was as much as I could take though.

Hope to catch them in Florida this summer!!!!
Bricklayer
Im new to the forum and last night was the first time ive ever seen NIN live...i was definitely impressed! Trent is one hell of an amazing performer and i cant wait to see them again this summer! Please, SOMEONE POST SOME PICS!!! I forgot to charge my camera :(
What songs did zombie play? How was his set? How were his theatrics?

Ask yourself if you're going to get an answer to this, and then ask yourself if you're on a Rob Zombie forum and you'll know your answer.
Are there any Rob Zombie forums?
^^Just Google his name. I did notice all of NIN watching part of Rob's set on the side of the stage.

I heard him say that too! I'm actually surprised he gets out of the crowd with his clothes intact, since it seems he has been doing this lately. I knew it was going to be a short set because it was a radio show, but as expected, NIN ruled over all the other bands. Twiggy was more energetic than usual during the first few songs, but he petered out afterwards. I liked that Alessandro played guitar during Mr. Self Destruct. Josh is simply the most amazing drummer, and really adds to NIN's sound.

I must admit I'm not too crazy about the fans 'singing' Piggy. It's such a moody song, so hearing people screaming the lyrics and getting them wrong ruined it for me. Was anyone else bothered by the rumbling from the DJ tents during Hurt?

Despite a shorten set, small stage and other problems associated with radio shows, NIN put on a stellar performance. The fireworks during Head Like a Hole was a nice touch. They know how to rule a radio show, just like at the KROQ Acoustic Xmas. Maybe I'm biased, but they made all the other bands on the bill look like amateurs.
Master of the Ninth Arch
That festival was way more fun than I thought it would be. I wasn't looking forward to it at all, but when I got there I ended up having a really good time! I spent 3 hours dancing in one of the tents and got to the NIN stage just before they came out. By that time I was totally covered in dirt and already exhausted. But I didn't want to sit thru all the other bands for hours just to get a prime spot. And I figured TR could walk around the festival without being recognized.

I was really far back so I couldn't see a damn thing. I would have been disappointed if I hadn't already seen them 6 times in the last year. Set list was shorter, of course. Bummer that there was no Reptile. The fireworks during Head Like A Hole were cool. The picture up on nin.com is pretty neat to see Trent's view of the show.

Why the hell weren't the side screens showing the band like they did all day long?

"Somebody stuck their finger up my butt" was classic. I enjoyed the "no way"....."uh-uh" during Only. It would be sweet if someone would put that up.

And Trent, for the love of God, please stop letting the crowd sing Piggy! We don't think it's nearly as amusing as you do. No offense to any of you fine people who were singing.

One last thing.....why the HELL would you close I-95 on the night of a festival? Should it really take 3 1/2 hours to get to Ft. Lauderdale?
Master of the Ninth Arch
For those of you who like to keep track of wrong lyrics being sung.....I just remembered one more thing. I was surprised when they started playing Starfuckers. When I heard Trent start with "I am every fucking thing and just a little more", I thought they were skipping the whole first verse to make the song shorter. But he just sang the wrong first line and they did the whole song.
MikeyLiz
Did I read correctly that NIN will be coming back to Florida again this summer or there after soon?
Please say it is true!

Boo hoo.

I was super super exhausted being in the pit for so long but I gave all the energy I had for NIN and, it was totally worth it. I would do it again in a second.
Master of the Ninth Arch
I am pissed that I did not take my camera, I made it to the rail and I saw everything.
I was going to bring my camera, but I called 93rock to see if I was allowed to take it because the last thing I want is for them to take my camera away.

I should have taken it. Everyone else has a camera with him or her.
I could have taken lots of nice shots.

Well anyhow, the show was kick ass. This was my 2nd time seeing NIN live.
Last time was back in 2000.

I made it up close, and with no one in front of me! Which was pretty hard I am a 5 feet tall and very skinny.

I was by the side of Aaron North. And I could see Trent, Aaron, and Jerodie perfect from the side front view.
Trent had a lot of energy and he seems to be in a good mood. I would have liked it to be a longer set, but oh well.

The fireworks during Head Like a Hole were very cool.

He also talked a little like saying that “someone stuck their finger up my butt down there,” pointing in the crowd. Very funny. He also talked the song Burn was made here in Miami.

He then also said “wow, we did not expect this, this turn out pretty big” or something like that!

Over all I had a good time!

I hope they come down to south Florida again.
Grand Pontiff
Yeah, I noticed the Starfuckers blunder right away. I was kinda suprised. And at the end of the song, they started to play it faster and faster. I was a little "eh" about Starfuckers. And yes, it was a very radio oriented show it seemed.

Yeah, I was completly drenched with my own sweat when NIN's show ended. And I enjoyed seeing so many NIN fans in one place. I know like.... 5 real NIN fans where I live.

p.s. The Rob Zombie show was pretty good. I loved that giant robot. But It kinda gave me the creeps.

p.s.s. I also am annoyed by Trent letting fans sing Piggy. I mean c'mon, I did not pay 60 whatever dollars to hear squeaky voiced teenagers try and utter the words to Piggy. Then again, I shouldnt talk because I am a teenager aswell.

Well, it's not like Piggy was the only song he played.. so you didn't pay $60 bucks for that. I wasn't one of the people singing but if Trent came up to me with a mike during Piggy I would.

I thought that robot-monster thing during Rob Zombie was mad cool.

Chimera: I know this isn't the place, but your avatar is absolutely hilarious. I can't stop laughing. Begging your pardon but please, everyone, keep posting your reviews. (Thanks, Chim!)

Well, then I'm glad you had your 8.5 seconds of fame!

Regardless, it's his show and he can do what he wants. Maybe he'll actually sing Piggy himself when they come back around during the summer. I hope.

Did the crowd seem lack luster to any of you? Judging from the merch booth, it seemed like the festival belonged to NIN but the crowd seemed more excited during Coheed & Cambria (who were good) and Avenged Sevenfold (who really need to go away and stay in Orange County).
Sorry for coming off as stupid but can someone please tell me which disc Mr. Bukkake is on!!!??
I believe it's off of the 'Pretty Scat Machine' CD.
By the way, what the hell is Trent talking about on his latest post on the NIN website? Who is he directing the comment to? I'm confused.
hatekilldestroy wrote:Did anybody by any chance take pics? There were some great moments to be caught. I just wish I had brought my camera. I thought security wouldn't let anybody with them in so I didn't bother.
got some pics. not very clear due to all the movement and people going nuts around me.
Bricklayer
So how many people here made the daring drive to both Global Gathering and Pensacola? We live in Jacksonville, and it was quite an experince in both places, and all that driving, and the fact that I had never been to Miami before.
I'd also like to see some pix. We didn't bring a camera because we thought security would take it...and when we went through the gates, they were selling cameras. WTF? Oh well...

Did everyone else find it strange that they took the wrong part of the ticket as well? We had ticketmaster tix and they gave us the tiny stub on the side, and they took our friends whole ticket and gave him nothing. :(
Master of the Ninth Arch
Yeah, my friend and I thought it was pretty stupid for them to keep the large part of the ticket. Oh well. Folding tables in a dirt field, what do you expect?

My friend sent me some pix, but I don't have the ability to host pictures. Sorry. Nothing great anyway. They're all spotty like it was raining, but it must have been all the dust in the air from people moving around and stirring it up!
Bricklayer
Yeah...I guess that's the way it goes. I'm going to Ultra Fest in Miami this weekend, and the ticket looks like a plane ticket. Never been to that festival before. It seems like a lot of people I talked to in Pensacola didn't go to Miami because they "didn't want to go to some crappy festival!" We suspected it was lack of funds, which is cool by me. I like all lot of different music, so global gathering was great for us.

My husband is so stoked that he found himself in the picture from the GG on the NiN.com website. It's a beauty of a picture, anyway. My friend that with us works at a Kinko's and he is going to blow it up for us nice and pretty. :)
my first nin show. but it was amazing. the entire event was really fun.
Grand Pontiff
and may i add, whoever saw that picture of trent with the backround of the ferris wheel had to be jealous. it was a beautiful shot.
Bricklayer
Yeah, it was a perfect shot.

The show was great, just wish it was a full concert. The festival was fun, got a piece of everything. I even got all this promotional stuff for riding the bull. I was a bacardi pimp, i lost it all during Rob Zombie.

Last time i saw Zombie he sucked, he has really picked up the slack, it was a good show. NIN was great, i was very happy during Mr. Selfdestruct, yet it pissed me off when this huge itlalian guy wouldnt let me mosh. Thats when i notice the camera phones, i was really pissed so i smoked out. Some scrub came by and asked, i told him no because i wasnt able to mosh. I ended up going nuts anyways, and fell on my back a couple of times. It was great! Pensacola was awesome too. There will never be enough to fill me up:)
MikeyLiz
i dont see how all of you enjoyed this shit? i thought the festival was fucking horrid, miami is always a bitch, parking was expensive (where i parked), and driving home was a 3 hour traffic jam.

i fucking hated every other band that played, the techno was obnoxious, and when NIN came on it was so goddamn bright you couldn' even enjoy the lights.

plus they didn't play a full set realy, plus i paid a butt load for food, beer, etc. not to mention how fucking tired i was from being at that place AND I ONLLY GOT THERE AT 5.

FUCK FESTIVALS.

NIN was top notch though

i'm still not happy about not geting them on a regular date here in south florida. its bullshit.
Bricklayer
Did anybody by any chance take pics? There were some great moments to be caught. I just wish I had brought my camera.
HELL YEA!

I was rubbing Trent's head when he jumped into the crowd. I almost got a pic of it too...

I drove down from massachusetts (after going to the concert at the Mullin's center in Amherst a week before) to see this show. Fucking amazing!

Keep for personal use only, no stealing and making money with these, since I'd like to have some of these published and I worked hard for these shots ;)
