That's because retarded Aaron stuck his guitar in the gate in DC and shorted them out.alfred wrote:It looked like a segment of the lights on that front cage thing that they lower down was burned out, which was kind of distracting, but other than that, i think the visuals they had were great.
non-entity was one of the songs trent performed at React now. you can find it on you tube most likely.guest163453 wrote: I keep seeing this on NIN's setlist. I couldn't find my own answer anywhere, but where is Non-Entity from? I couldn't figure out what the hell song it was from seeing the setlists, and I was hoping I'd recognize it at the show but no dice. What's the song from?
From what i've heard so far the flickering on the gate has been either A.) An intentional with teeth-esque design, or B.) A result of Aaron shorting out some of the gate in DC from sticking his guitar through it.yourfault1 wrote:So has an official decision been made on whether or not that strip of lighting on the right side of the grid was on purpose or not? It was really bugging me for a while. At some times I thought it was on purpose, at other times I was certain it wasn't on purpose, and at other other times I couldn't even tell it was there (leading me to believe it WAS on purpose!).... Anyway, have concert-goers that were at the previous shows noticed this? Can the people oging to PNC tomorrow report back to us?
PS - If Camden does suck; how much did that traffic on the way out suck?!
Either way, awesome show, awesome night - only the second time I've seen NIN; the other being their Arena tour here in Philly in November of '05. I refuse to miss their show whenever in the Philly area.

Why the fuck is there a filter on l o l ? hahaha that was a funny little twist, props to the board admins, but that really confused me for a moment. Lesson learned =)NJcoda wrote:From what i've heard so far the flickering on the gate has been either A.) An intentional with teeth-esque design, or B.) I'm going to think it was an intentional and planned flickering.
And as far as the traffic goes, you parked in the 15 dollar parking lot right? LoLLerskates *HUGZ*, I saw the price and was like fuuuck that, I parked a block away in front of some boarded up house. The show was fucking sick =)
If the flickering is intentional, then it's something new. I'd been to 5 shows on this leg & hadn't seen it do that. Look around at the tons of photos that are out there, the lights were fine. Then in DC Aaron stuck his amp under the cage as it was going down & it got stuck, & smashed his guitar into it. Someone on the Spiral posted a photo of him doing it: http://messageboards.musictoday.com/sho ... ge=5&pp=10yourfault1 wrote:So has an official decision been made on whether or not that strip of lighting on the right side of the grid was on purpose or not?
Trent has often used "cunt" to describe guys as well as girls, so I wouldn't necessarily base who he thought the spitter was on that part of his comment. Whatever Trent's, your, my, or anyone else's opinion of Suzie may be, I don't think anyone blamed her for the Spit Incident. Trent knew exactly who the spitter was and when he (spitter) continued to cause trouble in the pit he told security to get him out or else he'd end the show. And since the Tweeter security staff were a bunch of incompetant idiots, he skipped to the end of the set and cut out about 3 songs. (Seriously, security couldn't pull people out of the pit or notice when they were asking to be pulled out, never once gave us water, and seemed unable to police or take care of the crowd.)just_cause wrote: BTW, Trent thought that the psycho red haired chick Suzie that goes to every show was the one who spat on him, that's why he said "cunt". It was actually some guy behind her who did it. I bet she's crushed.
I just checked out the spiral and didn't find a picture. I'd love to see what this douche bag looks like. Karma IS a bitch. I still can't get over the fact that he spit at trent..Purest_Feeling2004 wrote: Someone posted on the Spiral board, by the way, that they had a picture of the spitter and would be posting it in the Holmdel Upcoming Shows thread. .
Suzie's the one who was saying that Trent thought it was her. Her friend posted over there that they talked to her after the show & she was upset because he pointed at her & stared her down. And they planted one of his security guys in front of her for the rest of the night.Purest_Feeling2004 wrote: Whatever Trent's, your, my, or anyone else's opinion of Suzie may be, I don't think anyone blamed her for the Spit Incident.
For fucking real. No offense to people who live there, but I only go there when it's a band I really must see, otherwise, I skip it. I fucking hate the Tweeter Center. And I get lost every fucking time I go there. I hate that motherfucking place.NJcoda wrote:
BTW: Camden is a shit-hole.
That was Spitty McSpitterson. He had his hand down the front of her pants so she clocked him. Did you see the cut on his head? Idiot was bleeding all over everyone. Security tried to get him to come over the barricade and he wouldn't go, so they took him out from the back.Reptileseven wrote:I didn't see the spitter and I was right there. Apparently I wasn't paying attention. But I did see a chick punch this dude in the face. He was a shirtless mess and I think he was feeling her up (or perhaps spitting). Security tried to pull him over the barricade but he wouldn't budge. Then these three huge security guys came storming through the crowd and hauled him away. I have a picture of that and he wasn’t happy he was leaving. There were a bunch of kids there that were annoying for no damn reason and didn't even really know the songs. Finally got away from them and had a great time. I feel like I couldn’t here the music that well right in front for some odd reason the other night. But off to Holmdel tonight!
Ahhhhh!! So it was then. He was mental. My friend saw the blood (because again I wasn't paying attention) she thought the chick broke his nose. I just saw the punch. He deserved anything he got for pulling that crap. He was totally pissed leaving and put up a fight with security.just_cause wrote:That was Spitty McSpitterson. It is currently ureleased. We believe it was written for With Teeth.quetionablejo wrote:What album is non-entity on? I didnt recignize one song at the show and someone told me it was called non-entity....thanks
At the beginning of their set some girl was on the rail with her sketch pad, drawing him & security went over and told her that she was pissing Trent off. He was probably annoyed from the get go. What a bunch of wierdos.asdfasdf wrote:Trent obviosly did not like the crowd and was not into the show.
That guy was such an idiot. He hit her and she fell backwards. This other guy and I were holding her up because she couldn't stand for awhile, but when she got up, she punched him as hard as she could and there was blood all over his face. The guy got really mad then and went to hit her and ended up punching the side of my face. I had to spend the rest of the night in the bathroom with the staff because I could hardly stand. That guy ruined my whole night. I was really looking forward to seeing them since I hadn't gotten to a show since the november one.Reptileseven wrote:Ahhhhh!! So it was then. He was mental. The girl you're talking about is a professional artist who bases her work on NIN and she's sketched at numerous concerts without Trent or anyone else having a problem with it. In fact, he's complimented her on her dresses and her work on several occasions. I was right near her on the rail at Camden, and security never asked her to put her pad away; she stopped sketching when the crowd became too rough for her to continue. If Trent was annoyed he was annoyed because the crowd as a whole was not as responsive or energetic as they could have been. She's not a weirdo, she's a fan, a successful artist, and a supernice person, so don't hate on her, especially when your comments are unsubstantiated.just_cause wrote:At the beginning of their set some girl was on the rail with her sketch pad, drawing him & security went over and told her that she was pissing Trent off. That guy was a gigantic douche. Thank god that girl punched him, idiot deserved it. Awesome show, wish I could have hit PNC as well. I think I almost died when they opened w/ 'Somewhat Damaged' - couldn't have asked for a better opener, IMO. My bra came unhooked in the pit, and I still have bruises on my shinsReptileseven wrote:Ahhhhh!! So it was then. He was mental.
