Great show...pretty much the same setlist, but they threw in Starfuckers...the new stage set is fuckin cool...would write more but gotta go to work

badass concert, trent put so much energy into this show i loved in, highlight of the night get down, make love also loves somewhat damaged and la mer and help me i am in hell.

Bauhaus played Bela Lugosi's Dead and I really liked them alot. TV On The Radio were good too. I was in section 303 and these white trash douche's were getting out of control and my uncle nearly bitchsmacked the both of them, they totally ruined Help Me I'm In Hell and Non Entity for me.

I missed the first band. I heard they weren't that good anyway.

Bauhaus was great, but I can't remember what they played except for the last song (Bela Lugosi's Dead) and In the Flat Field (I think).

NIN was incredible of course. I didn't expect Starfuckers. The screen thing looked REALLY FUCKING COOL, it was the best on Closer and Help me I'm in hell.
Jeordie actually MOVED this time, last time they were in SA he just kinda stood there. I even got him confused with Aaron once or twice.

The whole night was awesome. My seats were way better then I thought they were, it wasn't too hot, AND I GOT SOME SHIRTS WITHOUT WAITING IN LINE ALL NIGHT. God that was cool, NOBODY was there.

Only complaint is that near the end, 3 or 4 really tall motherfuckers decided to stand right in my view. I had to smoosh into the guy next to me to be able to see.
Also, is it lame to go see NIN with your mom?

edit- I could've sworn they played YKWYA after Terrible Lie. I'm probably wrong though.

It was fuckin AMAZING! words cant explain..The opening was SWEEEEEET-uh. over it was an aweosme show and the setlist ...eeeesh i couldn't ask for a better one.

Trent along with I both fucked up the first verse of Starfuckers by starting on the 2nd verse
Somewhat Damaged opening out of nowhere
The fact that we can call this the Fragile 3.0 tour due to the setlist and the background looking similar to the Fragile tour.

I believe Bauhaus played "Double Dare" first...THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!! I've never seen an in-place moonwalk executed perfectly like Peter Murphy's.

Trent messed up the lyrics for The Wretched and Starfuckers. I think there was something fishy about Closer...It sounded like the band kept trying to go into the Kinda I Want To breakdown.

I enjoyed the Bauhaus set a little more...but the new NIN setlist was awesome.

Thanks, before last night I'd only hear Bela Lugosi's dead and I really enjoyed them. Peter Murphy wearing the cape dearing Bela was awesome too.

Spurfor were you around row V or so in section 303 because I'm pretty sure I had the rednecks making the "WOO WOO's" durring some of the intros. Of course I got free condoms who wouldn't want a free condom...

I was in row R. Seat 57.

The show was so amazing....everything i expected and more...jeordie went apeshit again..it was awesome..a great set list also...highlights in my opinion were Get Down, Make Love, SOmehwat Damaged The Only "Remix" but nothing beats hearing the full band version of Non Entity...The new light show as amazing as well and im really glad that i got experience five shows on this with teeth tour its been a great ride and made lots of friends along the way...peace.

that was the best show i've been to, the setlist was great and so was the crowd. this show was way better than the one in october. and that one was bad ass.

by the way did anybody else laugh when the bass fucked up in the begining of only.

I thought it was hilarious that TR said here's the remix, the extended remix.

I was hoping they would play Piggy so he would maybe jump down and sing with us.

that sounds like something you would hear at a rap concert

The security was much better this time around at the venue.. when I saw Ozzfest here last year they were being real hardasses. The show seemed too short.. but it was sweet while it lasted. Remember when bands played solid two hour sets? Hell I saw Sammy Hagar play a 3 hour set once.

I liked the light show especially since I was on acid.. but the October show at sbc center was better primarily for the montage video in the middle. That was superb.

NO RAIN, GREAT SEATS, and FREE PARKING!

The wait between Bauhaus (great performance) and NIN was funny. My friend and I were standing around by the Merchandise table drinking, and we hear people screaming. We head back to our seats, and we just see people standing around talking. The gate on the stage was down. I thought the stage crew was still setting up. The house lights were still on. So, we continue drinking, and everyone is just standing around talking. Suddenly, you hear Trent sing the opening to “Somewhat Damaged.”
("Oh, okay they’re starting now.")

Somewhat Damaged was a great opener. I like the whole gate concept. The stage crew was very prominent throughout the show. Sometime after You Know What You Are, Trent kept going up to Aaron from behind, leaning his body against Aaron and resting his head against Aaron’s back. It was like he needed to rest, or a hug. Then he started jumping around again. Hell, I would’ve passed out in the middle of the first song. The energy from the band seemed to pick up once the show got going. Jeordie was doing some serious head banging at one point.

Someone threw something on stage. I think it was a bra, but I’m not sure. Trent’s back was to the audience at the time, so he didn’t see it. There were some technical difficulties, especially during “Only.” Trent was very relaxed about it. Jeordie walked up to him and said something in his ear. Trent nodded and said, “This is the remix.” They stood around some more, and then Trent said, “This is the VERY LONG remix.” We all just laughed, and the problem was fixed. Trent got his versus mixed up in “Starfuckers, Inc.” but recovered quickly. The increased tempo at the end of “Starfuckers” was impressive. It was definitely an energy rush.

The beginning of “La Mer” was interesting. At first I couldn’t tell it was “La Mer.” I could hear people say, “What is this song?” I like the transition from “La Mer” into “Into the Void.” Trent seemed to REALLY enjoy “Get Down Make Love." I finally got to hear “The Big Comedown”-one of my favorite songs off of the Fragile. It was okay live, but it didn’t have the aggressiveness I expected. “Non-entity” was interesting, but I prefer the stripped down version.

I saw Rob taking pictures toward the end of the show, and then make a mad dash from behind the stage. That guy can run fast. I was surprised he didn’t trip over anything.

I was really looking forward to seeing TV on the Radio. I was a bit disappointed. They had a lot of energy, but you couldn’t hear what they were saying. They have some very thoughtful lyrics, however you wouldn’t know it if you were not familiar with their songs. I think they would’ve sounded better in a smaller more intimate setting.

Bauhaus gave a great performance. Peter Murphy definitely has stage presence. I admit, I don’t know a lot about Bauhaus other than they are legendary. Peter Murphy’s VOICE is up there with David Bowie. You could tell the band enjoys performing. I need to familiarize myself with the band’s song catalogue. Again, I was VERY impressed.


This show was my third NIN show. I don’t like comparing shows, but it felt like something was missing this time around. No, I’m not talking about the curtain/set list and all that. I can’t put my finger on it. Don’t get me wrong; the band was great. My friend was impressed. He is not a NIN fan, but he enjoyed himself. I’ve had enough for now. I can honestly say that I am full, and very satisfied.

Well, i was there, handing out candy, as promised.
I got terribly sunburnt, and my feet were cooking in my shoes, but it was worth it.

That thought crossed my mind as well - also for the labyrinth flashbacks that his groin provided - and the resemblance grew even more when they played Ziggy Stardust the next night!

Trent just couldn't get the words right for starfuckers, so much so that they left it out entirely in dallas the next night!

I was standing more or less in front of jeordie - only because of the disrespectful fuckheads who chose run ahead of the people who had arrived at the venue 12 hours before them.
The security at the venue are fucking useless.
Either that, or it was Brandi's fault, she told us "no running, security will stop you", but i don't think it occured to her to TELL THAT TO FUCKING SECURITY.
Just like that one time, when no-one bothered to tell "no camera's" to trent.

So a big 'fuck you" to every arsehole flavoured cunt who did that thing i was just talking about.
But we still got to the barrier, in front of jeordie, but it was still a great view of everything.

Also, a big "get your fucking hand off it" to the group of groupies who think that "sleeping in your car" is the same as "camping out in line".
Does anyone else think this is fucking bullshit?
Sure, fair enough if you're a party of 2-4 who take shifts in the line while the others sleep.
But these people just drove up, slept in the cars, and we we got there, they told us "we were here first, we're in the front of the line", then when it came to concert time, these 6 people who were at least physically in the car park grew to a magical 12+. I guess they must have a large trunk.

Anyway, we left our cameras outside, because we didn't think we'd get them in, turns out - we could have gotten them in, security sucks at patdowns too, and the barrier guy was a very nice man whose name i can't remember (probably for the best), who anytime he saw a camera, looked the other way.

A big hello to the 2 groupie girls standing behind us who kept complaining about the crowd sucking and eventually went to the back of the pit.
I go to concerts for the band, I couldn't care less about the crowd.

Despite all the NIN fans trying their hardest to ruin it for every other NIN fan, they whole thing was great, and i'd do it again if i could.
I wish i wasn't going to europe, so i could afford more shows.

This entry will be entitled “Kick in the Eye” as homage to Bauhaus and because I literally got one from a surfer with boots. (not sure how I’ll explain this one where I work on Monday). Yes, this afternoon as I tend to my very first “shiner” ever I’d like to relate that I got the GA curiosity out of my system.

Having experienced TV on the Radio earlier in Austin at Emo’s this year I have to say the band seemed unmotivated at Selma…probably from the heat or because the crowd was so unresponsive. This is such a wonderful band. It’s a shame they were not more appreciated. Young Liars and Satellite - lyrical and musical artistry indeed…best band I’ve heard in ages.

Being new to Bauhaus I downloaded a few songs pre-concert for a quick education. Their set was really theatrical and great fun…tended to like their more danceable tracks better than the darker ones. Mr. Murphy’s voice is really rich and wonderful. A shame not knowing of them sooner. One hilarious observation of my Bauhaus education tonight…I think it can be safely said Scott Weiland totally rips off your moves sir. Awesome. Well at least he has good taste.

And last but not least…NIN delivered. But not like the Austin show. Austin’s concert earlier in the year was so unbelievably good that the bar is set high now.

OK, so Selma highlights include:
• Jeordie engages a bit more. The man actually moves. Very cool.
• The new set design seems to really reflect the music set played. Kudos.
• The music choices were a nice change of pace a bit from earlier concerts. Good balance.
• Being so close up in GA and being able to hear more subtle nuances of the songs played was really rewarding.

Overall an interesting night and enough to motivate me to drive a few hours to hear them again in Dallas Saturday…in seats. ;)

Personal note: to whoever kept grabbing, pinching and basically rubbing against the ass of “the girl” in the green T shirt 3 deep back in front of Jeordie…you know who you are…couldn’t move away unless I wanted to leave the pit because of tightness of space and wanted to smack whoever was doing that...hope you enjoyed yourself.

Don't judge all us guys by that. I too get upset when in GA guys use every opprotunity to cop a feel, its pretty sad and it can also be considerd rape.

Damn, I’m from Austin and I missed that concert. I wish I had of known about it. Anyway, I too think TVOTR is a wonderful band. I played TVOTR in the car on the way to the venue Friday evening. My friend was unfamiliar with the band, so I wanted him to hear some of their stuff. However, during the performance my friend commented on how he couldn’t hear what they were singing. I think it was more of a sound issue than the band itself.
They are definitely a band worth checking out. As soon as we got to the venue, I headed towards the Merchandise table to see if they were selling any TVOTR t-shirts. I didn’t see any. I would’ve bought one. I don’t even own a NIN t-shirt.

Anyway, I read that Dallas got Something I Can Never Have instead of Frail/Wretched. I’m personally glad I heard the latter. I could do without SICNH. If I had the choice again, I would have gone to the Dallas show rather than San Antonio though.

This was my first NIN concert and easily the best concert ive ever been to..I went with a friend and at first we had ok seats in section 105, but then the people around us started showing up and we were really dissapointed, some drunk grandma beside us and people who we knew were not gonna be going wild, so out of nowere right after bauhaus ended some guy sits in front of us, turns around and offers to trade his pit tickets for our ok tickets, so at first we think hes gonna rip us off but after talking to him and him telling us it was because he didnt want his girlfriend getting hurt we trust him and down we go, right down to pit, we couldnt believe it. The concert finally starts we go wild, people going wild, as every song played we got closer and closer to the stage..I loved that they played starfuckers, i thought march of the pigs was great as well as burn. When the hand that feeds came on i decided to ask this big tall guy to help me up to crowd surf, and it was awesome, those 5-10 seconds screaming the chorus in front of trent was amazing. It was an unforgettable experience.

I was in Mexico City wondering if i could make it to another concert on the WT era and I decided to go about less that 2 weeks ago but in order to make it worth we had to get pit tickets, we researched through all the possible ways to get the tickets and finally we got them using the credit card from one friend in the US and we sent it to another's friend address also in the US, we needed the help of about 5 people to get those tickets.

We took a plane, buses and rented a car in order to get there, and what can i say is that Trent gets better and more mature in the way he performs in every concert.

The way they opened with Somewhat Damaged was amazing, all the way through the setlist was made to have you on adrenaline.

Highlights of the night:

-Somewhat Damaged
-Help Me I'm in Hell
-La Mer/Into the Void
-Peter Murphy
-People in the mosh pit
-The luck to get those tickets

There's no doubt that this was one of the best weekends of my life. I still have bruises on all over the arms but adrenaline is still on me. I liked this setlist much more than the first leg of the tour one by far, leaving apart the setlist from Mexico City which was totally different.

I loved TV On The Radio, but I agree with what some of you are saying. I thought the sound was for shit. If I wasn't already familiar with the band, I wouldn't have known what the hell they were saying. I think they're great, though! They don't sound like anything else out there and the way they've mixed so many genres of music into one sound is awesome to me. I respect them a lot as artists.
I was so impressed with Bauhaus. Peter's still got it! Although I could see the stage really well, I was more to the left of the stage, so I absolutely loved it when Peter broke away from the main stage setup to come play in front of us few for awhile. I loved showing off my favorite Bauhaus shirt to him.
NIN didn't let us down. It was a brilliant show as usual. As for the "VERY long remix" of Only and the lyrical mishap during Starfuckers, Inc.-- I like it when minor things like that go wrong... it makes the event more memorable.
I never really cared for seeing NIN in those ampitheater type venues (especially in the Texas summer heat), but the production of the show fit well with the area layout. It was a great performance, cool light show.
But touching Trent when he came off stage and ran in front of the barricade was my favorite moment of the night.

Starfuckers was the highlight I wasn't expecting it.

i miss this night, yet i cannot wait till the next!
