wow, just an amazeing show! i was originally in section 7 but some guy walked up to my friends and i and asked us if we wanted to go to the pit, signed our tickets and sent us down! what a perfect night! The setlist is pretty simalar to the previous nights..

Fucking amazing show! Sounded twice as good as they did in Amherst. That man knows how to run a tight ship and fucking kick ass.

same setlist as Hartfords show.

Yeah! Amazing show (my first time seeing NIN). I paid $25 for lawn seats and got to go down in the pit, it was amazing. I also met a beautiful girl in the pit named Jamie. Jamie, if you're reading this, PM me!

Here are my thoughts. Bear in mind that this is my first With_Teeth show (kinda hard to get to see them, living in Hawaii), so this is my first exposure to the current band. Also, given that, I would have liked to have seen more songs from With Teeth. C'est la vie.

Somewhat Damaged - Stealth opener, but some people seemed prepared for it.
YKWYA - Great song. Wow, Aaron has some energy!
Sin, Terrible Lie - Great staples from the catalog
MotP - I think this was the highlight of the evening for me. I've seen it on all the previous shows I've been to, but for some reason it blew me away at this show. Aaron went crowd surfing. Trent gave the mic to the audience for the second part. The guy got out "They can all sleep soundly...." off-key and off-tempo before Alessandro gave up and just started banging on the keys.
SICNH - This song wasn't doing it for me until about halfway through the song, Trent chokes up and practically starts crying. Wow, that emotion made the whole last part of the song pretty powerful. Still like it as the closer during Self-Destruct though.
Closer - As everyone's said, nice visuals. Probably the visual highlight of the night.
Burn - I only marginally like this song, and I like it live even less.
HMIAIH/Non-Entity - Nice visuals on HMIAIH. Wish we could have had HiS afterward, but Non-Entity was cool. The crowd was dead, and I seemed to be the only one near me who knew the song.
La Mer - Very nice piano improv for about two minutes by Trent, before starting into the main La Mer melody.
The Big Come Down - Never been a big fan of this song. It was really well performed though, and those who really like the song went wild.
Dead Souls - The low light of the night. I was bored. I enjoyed the song during Self-Destruct, but it was not interesting tonight. I would rather have had Get Down Make Love. At the beginning of the song, in the middle of Jerodie's bass solo, one of the condom balloons floating around made its way directly to him. He gave it a high kick over Alessandro's head and into the back of the stage. After the song, Trent was in a very thankful mood. He said he had a great day, and because he doesn't take anything for granted anymore, he thanked all of us for coming out to see them. He thanked his supporting acts and his band ("the best band I've ever had").
Suck - Trent gave the mic to the audience for the final "I am so dirty . . . " whispers, saying "Sing it better this time!"
Down In It - Who knew the old girl still had life in her? One of the best songs of the night.
Head Like a Hole - Everyone in the place was going wild. A great finisher.

Great show. The crowd was all right, but kinda sedate at times. I swear the pit had to be the most polite and organized pit I've ever seen. Maybe it was just because I was viewing it from a distance (as opposed to being in it, like all my other NIN shows), but I swear everyone found a place to stand, and everyone respected that throughout the night. No one even rushed the pit.

For me, personally, I still think Self-Destruct was the pinnacle of Nine Inch Nails live. This performance was more polished, but I think Self-Destruct had better production and better entertainment (sheer chaos). Still, this show is better than 99% of what you can go out and see.

The two most recently posted setlists were correct. I have it written track for track.

Highlights of the show - Aaron North crowd surfing during, correct me if I am wrong, Sin. The awesome sound of Into the Void live... Bauhaus in general, and the condom balloons that were flying everywhere.

Downsights of the show - Peaches in general, and initially we were told we could use cameras (even Spiral members got an email about using the cameras, not to mention I got an email from Tweeter staff [and posted it here], and then a last minute decision meant we couldn't use cameras at all...and then, after I decided to not sneak it in and instead just return to my car with my camera, there were no security patdowns so I could have gotten in with it anyway). Then, when I got home, I dropped my camera (5.2mp HP that cost me $60 on clearance this past Sunday) and it is now broken. Fuck cameras.

There wasn't a whole lot of equipment-smashing going on... basically a few busted mic stands and Aaron's guitar sacrifice at the climax of Head Like a Hole, but the show is easily the best I've ever seen of NIN.

Also, and I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but was there some video problems during Only? It looked like, at least for the first third of the song, the back-drop displays were screwing up severely.

God this show was GOOD!!!! Just got back and I'm uploading videos right now. 3rd row pit right between Trent and Aaron. I have some sweeeet vids so stay tuned.... the vids are a lot better than the ones I took in Portland a couple of days ago. Aaron practically dove right on me and I have it all on vid and it's awesome!!!!

they might've skipped something, i have no idea.. they went on pretty late and there's an 11pm curfew at great woods, so if they cut any songs out, that's why..

Great show indeed. It was my first time on this tour and absolutely loved the cage screen! I had a shitty seat. 10-15 rows from the stage, but absolute last seat in the row under the right speakers. I loved it nonetheless. Must have been amazing to see the screens in front of one another rather than at an odd angle.

One correction to the Bauhaus setlist. The ended with Ziggy Stardust and they did not play Bela Lugosi's Dead.

Additionally, according to the setlist above, they were supposed to play Even Deeper between Non-Entity and Only, which they didn't.

I saw this mentioned at another show... maybe they're having problems with the video partof that song???

This was my 4th NIN concert. and it was the best. The song selection was amazing.

I have to agree, the show rocked, being my 11th time seeing NIN, I can't believe he's still got it after all these years. I'm perplexed about 'Non-Entity' though. What release is that off of? I have pretty much every Halo, bootleg CD, vinyl and I haven't seen or heard that anywhere. Can someone shed light on the subject?

It was a piece he wrote not to long ago, and he played it on a piano for the Hurricain Katriana relief thingy. And for this leg of the tour, he is actually playing it, and with a full band. you can get the Piano version on Youtube.com just type in NIN Non-entity

Hurricane Katrina benefit concert, and "Not So Pretty Now" has appeared on the setlist of a few recent Nine Inch Nails live shows. I was the guy in the green What Would Woody Do t-shirt with a picture of Woody Allen on it. I was with my friend who had an old black NIN shirt on and was sporting a tiny mohawk. Waiting in line all day long sucked; they seemed very unorganized at the Tweeter Center.

Anyway, once they let us in, and let us actually walk around after making us stand in another line while they slap wrist bands on us, I bought my NIN tour t-shirt and went into the venue. I got to be right up front on the bar in front of jeordie. He didn't seem that into it for a lot of the show but I yelled and screamed that he was great anyway. Seeing the band perform that close-up is phenomenal. They seemed to have a lot more energy than they did on Tuesday night in Hartford. Seeing Aaron, Jeordie, and Trent standing near each other, all in your eyesight, and just rocking the fuck out was something that will stay in my mind forever.

I wish the setlist was different from Tuesday nights. Someone should realize that these two venues are in the same general area so a lot of people are going to be at both shows, so why not switch it up a bit. But they didn't.

I wasn't really looking forward to Peaches and Bauhaus at all but once they were on I really got into their performances and now I can say I am a fan of both, although Bauhaus sounds a lot better live than on their CDs. There are a few gems though. Peaches was very provocative and I wanted to go somewhere that she would run by during Fuck the Pain Away and just rock out with her but I didn't want to give away my spot up front. Figures she always went to the right side of the stage too. And Bauhaus gave out the flowers at the right side of the stage. And everyone was throwing water bottles and drum sticks and tamborines to the right side of the stage. The left side got no love.

Highlights for me: I really enjoyed Somewhat Damaged as the opener last night. I was looking forward to it and on Tuesday at Hartford it didn't meet my expectations, but last night it really blew me away. The Help Me I Am In Hell, Non-Entity duo was fantastic both nights. The visuals were phenomenal and I just love non-entity to begin with. Nobody knew what song it was though. Two girls behind me kept guessing at what they were playing until Trent started singing and they gave up. After the song they asked me what it was because I guess they saw me singing along and I enlightened them.

I have to say that these past two shows have been the best because I have been so close to the stage each time. The best setlists were probably the Orpheum and the Banknorth Garden. I will definatley miss seeing Nine Inch Nails so often and I hope they hurry with the next CD so they can tour again. But I agree they do deserve a break so guys, take as long as you want, you deserve it.

But seriously, don't take too long.

I have a MD audio of the complete NIN set its a bit distorted at times but very listenable still if you were there. as I was so close to the stage but I may release it soon the quiet songs sound amazing waiting to see if anyone else taped so give it about 2 weeks if no better copies surface I will release mine

Also did anyone see the guy with The HD camera setup through the show he had to be with the band I forsee another couple of live dvds coming out

Yes I definitely remember you! The group around us had a great time that's for sure. Both of your voices are pretty clear in the videos. Unfortunately this is my last show until there next tour... I will be posting more vids after I get a lot of stuff done at home. How was the ride back to NY???

so this was my fourth nin show.... i am down in providence visiting my friend john and he got us tickets. heres my blog entry about it from myspace... im lazy.

"so i saw NIN last night in mansfield MA. it was fucking awesome! we were pretty far back but we were dead center so it was awesome. i could see everything... something that you miss being in the pit. that and leaving the venue dry and unbruised.... anyways. they opened it up with somewhat damaged... that made me happy. then they went into you know what you are then into sin. thats all that i remember anymore for the exact setlist but i do remember a few other songs they played. theyll come to me as time goes by too. ill list the other later. so they had these awesome lights like they always have (since the fragility tour anyway....) they had this one lighting rig that came down from the top of the stage to the floor and had flickering light to make it look like blood running from a tap. i wish i could remember what song they played during that... why didnt i make a mental note. blast it! anyways he sang behind it and eventually the lights at the bottom came on and stayed on to make it look like it was filling up with blood.. then he got in front of it. it was sexy. fuck what song was it.... FUCK. ill find out and then ill fell better... so yeah i got a new shirt too. its a cute little grey one... nothing special. but its nin so its very fucking special. the bauhaus were swell. ive got to look into them. i mean ive heard shit before and they tickled my fancy and all but i didnt know they had so may songs id like. they had a sax... how 80s. heh. they were probably the most goth band ive seen since manson. the guy was pretending to fly like an eagle over this eerie white light. it was kind of... hilarious. we missed peaches. kind of upsetting... meh what can you do. fucking amazing show... but next time.... im back in the fucking pit."

i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Third and final show for me (Garden and Amherst). I think I'll vote this one as the best experience. My spiral seats were great, sec. 2 row T, no tall people in front of me. Perfect view. My eyes hurt more than my ears after that! I really enjoyed the songs and screen at the first two shows and didn't think the disco lights could top that. They did, the gate and synch lighting to some of the songs was great. I think it was SICNH that had the 'Gate of Blood'. Not sure

Loved getting The Big Come Down, was crossing my fingers for Get Down, Make Love, but Down In It definitely was worth it. Dare I say, that was the song that got everyone wild?

Nice comments from Trent, I thought for sure, all we were going to get was the one or two 'Thank Yous' still he spilled forth with: "this is the best band..... this has been a good day.... grateful......"

I took my non-fan husband to this and Amherst. What a guy, he really did enjoy himself and commented that the Tweeter Center had really polite audience getting in and out of there. He's favortie were Closer (figures) and HLAH.

Finally, thanks to the woman next to me from Maine who was at her tenth show since '89. You rocked and moshed and maybe the night that much more fun, Merci buckets!

If anyone has audio form this show... POST IT! I would so love to be able to have it to lsiten to. This was my first show and I was with a friend who had been to 22 other NIN shows, and he said this was one of the best he'd ever seen. I was still high off the show two days later--what a rush.

Dead Souls is actually also on the Japanese version of The Downward Spiral, right before Hurt.

Wow thanks for sharing that. That was my first NIN concert and my best friend and i got up graded from lawn seats to pit. Fucking amazing. I can't wait for them to return to the states!
