best conert I have seen NIN do in awhile. Crowd was awesome. Probably the most enthuastic crowd of all NIN concerts I have been to. The setlist previously posted is very close, not 100% sure though. I think 'Wish' was the best performance tonite. The ending of Wish was just amazing. I had a little trouble hearing the base tonite from White but could because I was mainly on the right side of the pit right in front of Aaron. Trent was full of energy as usual.

wow....that was fucking awesome!

peaches i thought was great-shes a good ice breaker and a good opener to hype everyone up.....and definitely was entertaining.

bauhaus kind of started to bore me....i dunno.

there were 2 fans of theirs.......like crazy fans that were in the pit and were so enthusiatic...so fucking enthusiastic that the guitarists started eyeing them and blew them a kiss at the end then they went ever more nuts! and left. haha...that was really sweet.

there were water fights between the band haha...that was funny to watch.
trent talked quite a bit but i couldnt hear him even though i was in the pit and like 2 rows fucking back. he said something about how much security there was and said "and i promise there will be an album before the first half of next year" he sounded very honest about it.
i loved how pumped they were! we even got extra bits added in songs especially in march of the pigs.

extras--great fireworks---splashed with water by trent -----and of course the polite moshing/shoving was great and i've never seen such an energetic excited and dedicated audience in my life!

So, so, true...

Now this is what a pit was supposed to be like. I was fucking smashed and exhausted, but goddamn it was great.

Highlights...

Hmmm...

1.) The crowd being so fucking into it!!! You rock indy!
2.) The fast get-out after the concert!!! Parking Attendents rule!
3.) The guy that passed me the cup of ice-cold water duting SICNH.. thank you very much!
4.) Aaron jumping right in front of my gf and I and pushing him up! YEA!! It's about fucking time he jumped in our direction!
5.) Trent talking and thanking the crowd so much, then preceding to talk about how they're going to work on the new album, and they promised they would be touring again by the beginning of next year(This guy is a fucking animal!! He's been touring for like almost a 1 1/2 straight!) Ohh... I can't wait.
6.) Not getting pulled over by the million state troopers I passed on the way home!

Lowlights...

1.) The fuckhead that came up next to me and preceded to yell "Put your arms down!" to all the people in front... in a whiny-ass annoying voice and then preceded to brag about how this was his 3rd nin show in eight days( I wanted to tell him it was my 4th and to please shut the fuck up, but I wasn't going to stoop to his level) and then when PM came out and they did Final Solution he said woah they didn't do this and just wouldn't shut the fuck up bitching about how he couldn't get his shitty cell phone shots. I seriously wanted to elbow this fuck in the face and throw his goddamn phone to the moon. I also think the guy in front of me also wanted to throatfuck the shit outta him for being such a fucking goober. God he had an annoying voice.

2.) Not being able to move to different sides of the pit, because it was so fucking packed.... but hey I guess that's a good thing. (I was front and center 4-5 rows from the stage and having a fucking ball.

3.) Knowing that it was my last nails show until next year, but tools coming around this fall and a new nails album and tour next year...

I cannot fucking wait. C -You all there!


Oh yea and I wanted to comment on Ticketmaster having pit tickets(and also very good pav seats) available today for this show, so remember always check at the last minute if you don't have tix!!! I already had mine but I was trying to get some buddys to go, but they're no fun and didn't go... oh well fuck em'!

Oh yeah the setlist is correct!

The fireworks were cool but I was outta the parking lot cruising toward the highway when they started going off. I love the 4th. Did anyone notice like no one there really getting into "Only" at least in the pit, and I don't think a single person around me knew the words to non-entity which was kinda cool they just like stood there in astonishment with puzzled looks on their faces. Damn the graphics to that song are badass!

Great show. I was going to take a piss and I heard two rednecks having a conversation so I had to listen in. One was asking the other who the band was that just played (Bauhaus). The other said he had no idea but he knew one thing for sure, they need to practice more!" Hillarious, how the fuck can someone go to a nin show and not know who fucking Bauhaus is? Peter Murphy wore a cape for Bela Lugosi's Dead, which was awesome.

And Trent sort of announced a release date for the next album halfway through. He said, "We're going to be back on tour the first half of next year with a new album, I promise".

Nine Inch Nalls and fireworks, yay.

The 'Closer' interlude is actually taken from 'The Only Time', they've done it the entire tour like that...and I actually like it better that way.

Well it's mostly been covered before, so I'll just give my BRIEF input (since I'm tired).

EDIT: Just so you know, I was the 18 year old in the In Flames shirt. I was 2nd row back in the pit between Trent and Aaron. Did I meet/see anyone from this message board there?

Peaches - I was really impressed by her. She puts on a good show, she's a TOTAL diva. Reminds me of a raunchy Janis Joplin, eh? She played some good songs and was sporatic enough to be entertaining. Her drummer was hot. She wasn't.

Bauhaus - OK, I might get flamed for saying this, but I thought they fucking sucked. Guess it's just not my style. They had absolutely no energy, the guitar was so high and shrill and whiny it was beyond annoying, it drug on and on and on...I couldn't wait for them to get off the stage. It amazes me that that guitar player could go that whole time without ever really PLAYING...he just does a bunch of annoying feedback and shit. And I thought the saxophone thing was laughable. So yeah, I know others thought they were good, so I guess it's just a difference of opinion. I thought "Final Solution" in NIN's set was fantastic though.

EDIT: Was it just me, or was Bauhaus' guitar WAY, WAY too loud? Maybe it was because I was right in front of the guitarist, but it was SO shrill I had to put earplugs in.

Nine Inch Nails - Fucking blew me away. Absolutely PERFECT tonight. I could go into details, but I'm waaaaay too tired. I had a good spot very close to the rail, but was extremely squished nonetheless. To the guy with the mohawk...you were awesome, man, PM me. The setlist was pretty much perfect. Highlights were "Down In It," "Final Solution," "Hurt," and "Head Like A Hole." The crowd was SO into it, I don't think they could have possibly been better. Everyone knew all the lyrics to all of the songs, even something as quaint as "Non-Entity," and everyone was singing along. There were no fights or problems in the pit (not where I was, anyway), other than a few annoying people trying to edge their way to the front. People were actually LISTENING to the quiet songs (is it just me, or is SICNH extremely out of place in that setlist?). "Hurt" was spine-chillingly good, since literally everyone stopped pushing and was just standing there, mesmerized. Maybe it was the fact that I could actually suck in oxygen again since the pushing stopped, but the whole song felt euphoric, with the fog rushing past Trent and everything. He made eye contact with me once too, that made me happy because I'm lame like that.

So yeah, to sum it up: Peaches was good, Bauhaus was disappointing, Nine Inch Nails absolutely blew my mind, and this was the best crowd I've ever been with. This was the best show of my life.

One question...what was Trent referring to in THTF when he said "What the fuck is that?" to one side of the pit?

Oh, and he DID say that he will have a new album out and will be back touring again the first half of next year. Needless to say, he got a HUGE cheer after that. Trent was very chatty and friendly, it was awesome. I could really tell the crowd impressed him.

This was my second NIN show, and it did not disappoint. I got there a little late, and missed Peaches and a lot of Bauhaus. I can't say Bauhaus really wooed me. Their music was good, but not really exciting.

It didn't take very long for them to set up for NIN. The setlist posted earlier is correct. Some songs that stood out for me were YKWYA?, Terrible Lie, Burn, HMIAIH, Wish, La Mer/Into the Void, TBCD, Down In It, Final Solution, all of them basically. I was a little sad by the absence of Sin, since it's probably my favorite NIN song, and Get Down Make Love, because I really wanted to see it. I also could have done with better seating than lawn. The venue and the staff was very awesome though.

Trent had many nice things to say about the crowd and such. He said it was good to see a crowd really get into it, then went on to talk about the securty being strict on the front Gen Admin people. He also said the new album would be coming out soon next year with more touring following it's release.

After the concert there were free energy drinks and fireworks. There were also people giving out free condoms at the venue. I picked up a poster before the show. I didn't really get a chance to look at much more of the merch. because I was late to the show and did it before hand in case posters were sold out after the show. Other funny things during the show was the large amount of drunk people dancing/running/stumbling around and condoms floating around like balloons. YAY FOR NIN! BETTER THAN THE FIRST SHOW I SAW!

Ah, ok, that makes sense then. I saw Aaron wearing it on his head and put it on the mic stand, I didn't know that's what Trent was referring to. It appeared to be signed, by the fans I assume.

Three more funny things...

JEORDIE ROCKED OUT! I couldn't believe it! He was totally headbanging, very out of character, I thought he was Aaron at first. I don't remember what song.

Josh was hilarious the whole night. The tape was awesome, definitely a good look for him, haha. Later, I think it was in "Final Solution," the way he was drumming and his face were hilarious.

Alessandro peering through the light thing during "Help Me I Am In Hell" while playing guitar. He got a huge applause, it put a big smile on his face.

Thought it was a great show. Was amazed that me and my girlfriend were able to get pit tickets at 9am this morning???? Pays to check the last min I guess.

Much better than Chicago, I have to say this was probably one of the best NIN shows I have ever seen.

Congrats to the boys, Nice finish to the tour.
(Those California Dates don't count. Since trents gonna go home and eat cheese puffs after those shows.)

Did I miss something? I only heard Trent say that they were going to take some time off and finish the album and they would be back real soon.
I didn't hear anything about next year. I was standing dead center in the pit about 3/4 back and I could hear clearly.
Like about the security being so nice to make sure everyone in the pit was ok. He said something (not word for word) to the extend of, I have never seen the security in the pit to make sure everyones ok.

Whatever, all in all it was a great show. Topped off with some nice pre 4th of july fireworks.
Indianapolis you rock in my book and always have.

Let me just start out by saying this was the best show ive ever been too. I saw them earlier this year in Champaign and this show blew that one out of the fucking water.

Peaches kicked ass. Her music was pretty good and she put on a great show. I was really impressed by her. I probably wouldnt buy an album but she was really fun to watch.

Bauhaus sucked ass in my opinion. Their music was bad, they werent into it much, and their sound was fucked up or something because it was practically earsplitting to have to listen to them. It gave me a headache and I just wanted it to be over. Maybe their cds are ok but they were terrible tonight.

NIN was AMAZING! As everyone else has said, the crowed was REALLY into it which made it a whole lot more fun. SICNH was great but is misplaced in the setlist. Im not sure where they could put it but its a downer after the high of the first few songs. Anyway, awesome show. Cant wait to see them again next year!

ps. Did anyone notice that goofy look on Josh's face durning Final Solution? I was cracking up.

Final Solution was the highlight of the night for me. Awsome song! Along with Wish, Down In It, and Into The Void. The band sounded great and had high energy.

I liked the venue but I certainly wont ever be buying lawn tickets again. I was surrounded by shirtless obnoxious drunken douchebags. Oh well thats what I get for being poor I guess. I saw one crazy screaming drunk guy attack like three security guards at once during Head Like A Hole right in front of me. He was promptly beat down and taken away in cuffs. What a fool.

For this reason, I think I enjoyed the Champaign show a bit better. Both kicked ass though. No doubt about it.

This show was just awesome...much better than Columbus, I'm safe to say, simply because the crowd intensity versus that one. And what a more appropriate show than my last one for a long while (2007 isn't that far--that one comment from Trent about the new album/next tour, had everyone going...) to catch a drumstick straight on after the show from the drum tech... My first one yet, and my girlfriend got a guitar pick (probably Jeordie's) after plenty of security guards kept playing pick and choose with people and us against the rail.

I heard him say that when there were loads of photographers down there (which there were almost the entire show) about to snap shots of him from the center pit...thought had it something to do with that, but I don't know for sure. I was right there, and didn't see anything or anyone on the rail that would've made him say that.

Peaches - 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Her wardrobe mistress deserves a thrashing. Her drummer is talented. Too bad she doesn't have some decent material to work with.

Bauhaus - I didn't notice anything up with the sound. Outside venues notoriously suck for acoustics, and this show was no exception. Other than that, they sounded like, well,..them. Double Dare and Stigmata Martyr were great. Was glad they played Bela. Didn't think I would get to hear that one. Peter looked like a class act in his velvet suit and black cape. His wardrobe mistress deserves a gold star.

NIN - Enjoyed the show, as always. During THTF Trent said "what the fuck was that?" right in the middle of song. What was he talking about? Did someone throw something onstage? I didn't see anything. The lighting and the cage on this leg add a lot to the show. Trent and PM sound great together, I hope they continue to collaborate. Trent seemed to appreciate our enthusiasm, as always. We're so bored out here we always deliver as an audience, so I hope he keeps his promise and can make it back out next year.

song selection was not as good as milwaukee in my oppinion but everything else beat the hell out of chicago and milwaukee.

notice how everyone else knows that they are finishing the album and would be back touring early next year... so how clearly could you hear again? I was standing 4-5 rows back and heard every word.

Finally got to see an outdoor NIN show. Everything about the experience was awesome. Drove in without being stuck in traffic on I-69 at all. My seats were the closest I've ever been to NIN. Got to see a nice fireworks show and get a free 4-pack of Full Throttle on the way out. Amazingly got in the car, and was back on I-69 within like 10 minutes. That new Bergen Road is awesome.

I missed most of Peaches, but heard the end of Fuck the Pain Away. Thought Bauhaus put on a pretty good show, beats most of the openers I've seen lately.

I was quite happy with the setlist. Only->Wish is a good combo. It's been awhile since I got to see Down In It. I was glad they changed the stage setup. I thought this was a better show than Champaign, but part of that may be because I went in thinking this would be the last chance I'd have to see NIN for awhile. That is, until he said that they'd be back early next year. Hopefully that happens.

Actually, TR was definitely bitching about security. He said, "This is the first time I've seen security in the pit making sure everybody plays nice. Yeah, I see you there. I signed your autograph this morning, motherfucker."

He was talking about the security guard. Then he said something about playing a nice song so nobody hurts each other and started into La Mer. He didn't think it was at all cute that they were stopping the moshers.

Anyway, fantastic show. We ended up getting pit tickets via ticketmaster at 11am and hopped in the car and made the trek from Columbus, OH to Indianapolis. Best decision ever, because this show rocked much more than Pittsburgh (which was originally supposed to be our last show). And I don't know what people are talking about. Bauhaus rocked. It was the crowed that was terrible during their set.

I was in that pit for most of the show. Blonde kid wearing all black + shirt with mansons face on the front. Caught trents water bottle midway through the set. I'd have to say the highlights were suck, wish, gave up, and down in it was a new one to hear live and sounded GREAT. Tight show, saw lots of fellow Boilermakers there. Only show I could compare it to is the Fragility tour in 2000 with the screens and lights, but they played heavier songs tonight. Out of the 5 times I've seen them, I'd say this was the best show.

And then he said, "Here's a nice polite song." And that lead into the fucking BEST La Mer of the tour. No bullshit. Straight into the riff. He didn't doodle around at all for a few minutes like he has at every other show and, while I like some of the improvs, for the most part, I really just wanted to hear the La Mer riff and what not.

I saw Aaron scrambling around to get ready because I'm pretty sure it caught him off guard. He also seemed a little tamer than he did in Milwaukee...I saw him sitting off to the side of Josh a few times wiping his face and drinking water. Poor guy is going to wear himself into a coma.

Our seats were awesome...we were on the right side of the stage (my favorite side because I love watching Aaron) in Section C row V. We were directly in line with that stack of amps Aaron climbed up at the end to throw his guitar off of, so we didnt' get to see Josh at all. I wasn't that upset because this was my 10th time and I just wanted to enjoy the overall experience, but it was my brother's first show and I kept telling him how crazy Josh is. Ah well.

The sound was AMAZING. I thought the Marcus had awesome sound...last night blew it away. Fantastic.

I'm SO glad they played The Big Comedown again. I really missed it on Sunday, and I'm super happy they didn't play Sin again. I was a little sad we didn't get Dead Souls or Starfuckers, but that's okay, I guess.

It was also nice to see Aaron survive his dive into the pit.

He said "next year". 2006 + 1 = 2007

Listen to the Q101 interview before the Chicago show and you can hear it all you want (it's posted in the NIN forum).

Yeah, he said, "we're gonna finish up the new album and I promise you, we'll be back in the first half of next year."

I wonder if this means that a) Aaron, Jeordie, Alessandra and/or Josh have any input on the new record? I'd love to hear an organic NIN record with the whole live band on it.

And as for the Chicago thing...he said that the new record isn't like the last one and that he isn't sure a rock band backing is exactly what it needs. So that means it's more mellow, which is fine with me, but I don't know what I'd do if I didn't hear/see Aaron ripping through the songs. It wouldn't feel right.

I have been to several shows on this leg of the tour and this was such a great show to end with. I dont have anything new to add to what has been said about the show, but I do want to comment on security in the pit. I didnt make out everything that Trent said, but I was right next to one of the guards in the pit. The guard said security was in the pit to break up fights and in case someone was hurt. He didnt care if people were smoking, filming, taking pics, moshing, etc. He helped up the moshers that fell and made sure they were ok. The crowd was more tame when they arrived. But once people knew security wasnt there to put a damper on things, people started moshing again.

I'm glad to hear that. I distinctly remember seeing signs up saying something like "Moshing DOES occur! Be careful and be aware of your surroundings" or something like that. I thought it would've been kinda weird/missleading to have those up all over and then have security in there to keep people from moshing.

Just for the record whoever saw the manson kid catch the waterbottle....

that was not me i did catch a water bottle but i am not blond nor waearing a manson shirt im sure there were other bottels but that kid was not me ok done.

The 2007 thing came from Trent saying, "We'll be back the first half of next year with a new album, I promise."

Based on that a new nin album is due out before June 2007.

Could have been "you fucker" or some other interpretation of "fucker," but he definitely said it. I'm not one to argue, so I won't press the issue. He didn't say it in a menacing way, just a friendly "C'mon, dickhead, let 'em have fun" kind of way.

Also, the promise of a 2H07 tour is amazing. Next tour we decided we're going to do the west leg and take a long vacation around CA, WA, OR, etc. (we're from Ohio), so I better start saving some $$ soon.

This show was great. My friend Nathan and I drove up from Birmingham for the show. I was overly excited to hear Down In It, though I wanted to hear Reptile again. The granny panties were hilarious. He did not play La Mer as long as he did in Atlanta and birmingham That is what I wanted to hear all of.

I was wondering how many times he was going to say "suck".


There was a fat, greasy, half naked guy next to me smoking pot. He was really gross. I just had to add that in. And the zoo was fun. I had to add that too.

Wow... you know what can I say. It's twenty four hours later and I feel like I have been hit not only by a train but the hardest fucking train imaginable. This has been an absolute blast following NIN to eight shows - I have been to the Atlanta Tabernacle club shows in Spring 2005, Nashville in Halloween, Lexington, Cincinnati, and Knoxville this Spring, and then Columbus a few days ago. Each show has been the greatest nights of my life - I mean one after the other has been the greatest experience of my existence I believe, but this show in Indianapolis, my final one on the whole With Teeth tour without a doubt blew away any of my previous concert experiences. I don't know if it's because it's the final one or what, but Trent and co. seem to get better and better every time that I see them. I drove four hours for this show like Columbus and again it was worth every minute of that drive from central/southeast Kentucky.

I was severely disappointed with the crowd in Columbus, in retrospect it seems that out of the shows I've went to Columbus was the worst one as far as crowd. I mentioned in that tour journal that I felt Atlanta had the best crowd. Fuck... Indianapolis just topped Atlanta even. Looking at the nearly equal setlists I can see what a difference it makes when the crowd is totally into the show. Not only was the band better, but I was more enthusiastic and feeding off the energy of the crowd - it was fucking incredible. I met some very nice people... myself and my friend were in Row N in Section B. I was in the Pink Floyd shirt - I hope I didn't disturb anybody with my hardcore rocking out. But there were two people to the left of us, Rachel and Jason I believe were the names? Anyway, you guys are eternally fucking awesome and it was great to meet you. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did - now you can see why I was that excited ^_^.

Anyway, I want to thank april here for recommending Premier Parking - I was in and out of the venue within a minute. I heard nightmares that it took absolutely forever to get out - well with the Premier it was super speedy. So, thanks very much april! It sucks I didn't get to say hi to you again in person, you were super nice in Lexington!

So... about the show. Trent and co. were on fucking fire. I mean nothing short of it, they came out with the intent of whipping our asses one final time here on the east coast and they delivered... BIG TIME. Of the eight shows I've been to, this is without a doubt the best one. Even though the song selection was -maybe- not as good as Columbus (to me they were the same, the Peter Murphy duet singing Final Solution fucking made it much better to me), the crowd was fucking electric. For the first time, every fucking fan knew when to be apeshit and every fucking fan knew to be quiet (I'm talking about the lack of random screaming during Hurt, FANTASTIC CROWD INDY!!!! *pat on back*) Somewhat Damaged absolutely brought the house down and pretty much had me tired early from rocking the fuck out. As mentioned earlier, we were in section B row N so all of us were pretty much leaning against the pit rail with all the freedom in the world to rock out and rock out heavily. Must give props to every fucking fan on that row - you guys know how to fucking rock out. The guy beside me, I didn't catch your name, but you had long hair - dude you kicked ass and you made me more enthused ^_^. Sorry we didn't talk and I didn't catch your name, but thanks for rocking out. You Know What You Are including Somewhat Damaged consisted of most intense moments of my entire life - I pretty much lost my voice and as well as got exhausted within the first two songs. During Terrible Lie my friend busted his hand wide open on the rail, but like the NIN trooper he is he wrapped it up with the free towel he got from Verizon at the front gates. I also have a mystery cut on my right wrist that's pretty deep and a large apple size bruise on my left knee. During March Of The Pigs after the first verse and before the second Trent pointed at someone in the front row of the pit and said "don't make me laugh" and then laughed anyway ^_^. I absolutely fucking balled my eyes out during Something I Can Never Have. An event happened to me prior to this concert in which I lost my best friend who I deeply adored and who I considered to be the most beautiful and special person I had met in a long time if ever, the song gave me an opportunity to do something I haven't done yet which is grieve for her. That song now always will mean that for me. Thanks Trent for that special moment to release all of that that was bottling up inside me. I never grinded myself as much against something as I did the rail during Closer. I will never get enough of "The Only Time breakdown" bit, it makes the song so much better. Help Me I Am In Hell stood out as a big time highlight for me, I do recall the moment in which Alessandro looked through the "grill", got applause, and grinned ^_^. My friend came into the show without any prior knowledge of the setlist and he desperately wanted to hear Non-Entity so he was shocked that they played it, although he didn't know what it was until Trent starting singing (he's only heard the Katrina benefit version), that was a special moment seeing the look on his face and hearing him say "HOLY SHIT!!!!" Very nice. Trent stopped after Wish to talk to the audience for a bit. He remarked that we were a fucking great crowd and then remarked about how there was security in the pit and said something to the effect of "whats up with that?" He was definitely seemed pissed off, as he sarcastically stated while pointing to a security official: "yeah I signed your autograph this morning, motherfucker." He kept his sarcasm up when he said: "here is a nice and polite song now." He launched into the most beautiful La Mer I had ever heard - another choke up moment. Into the Void kicked absolute ass as usual... Down In It... amazing. My friend and I balled our eyes out during Hurt as we usually do at NIN shows. Then I was absolutely stoked for Peter Murphy coming out for Final Solution. Awesome! Show closes with Head Like A Hole as usual.

Trent remarked sometime in the set that there would be a new album and tour within the "first of next year." Lets hope so. I'll be there I'm sure.

Anyway, Bauhaus fucking rocked awesome - I am now a huge fan and will be picking up their entire catalogue as soon as I can afford it (not just Crackle.) Peter Murphy is like David Bowie part 2 - hardcore stage presence and charisma. The guitarist is also very charismatic and as a guitar player I was very wowed by his playing. The bassist looked very cool with his shades and I liked him playing what appeared to be fretless bass, very cool! Drummer was great too and seemed to be super bashful at the end when tossing the drumsticks ^_^.

Peaches.. lol.. speechless. Raunchy as hell again. All I can say is "Fuck The Pain Away." She ran through the crowd again, this time right in front of my face as she went through our Row N. I was sort of scared she would grab me, I would have probably fainted *^_^*. It was pretty funny that in Columbus security didn't care and let her run free while in Indianapolis as soon as she ran through row N at least ten security guards rushed behind her.

What a night and what a way to end the With Teeth experience. Thanks very much to everyone for being so very cool and nice - it's been an absolute blast. So concludes this mini-review ^_^.

Damn, that was a great show, by far the best one of theirs that I have been able to catch. The crowd was great and really into it the whole time, which made it even better. I drove from Louisville, and it was well worth the drive!

This is my third show of the tour (the Allstate Arena Chicago show, and Lexington), and probably my least favourite. Most of that was from being in the lawn, though. My friend and I moved once towards the beginning to move away from some preppy high schoolers with some girls hanging onto them all kissy-face.

Later a mosh pit/fight broke out right behind us, which was just annyoing. We were downhill so most people flew towards us as they ran around the 20' circle, beating on each other and flying around. They darn near trampled a few people, including some girls. Moshing is one thing, but that was simply a giant wrestling match. I guess they were "getting into the music" or something.

Were they the ones out there doing interpretive break-dancing pre-show in white t-shirts? And yes, I'm serious. I could see those guys from the pavilion and had a nice laugh. Every time I have sat on the lawn out there (which has been more times than I can even count) a fight has broken out. Indy audiences are VERY enthusiastic and very..well..drunk. Anyway, if you come visit again, skip the lawn and get pavilion. That way you can enjoy the "good" side of enthusiastic.

When we finally made it in, Bauhuas was playing. I liked their set, but most of the people around me were either clueless or annoyed.
Nine inch nails played a good set. I coulnd't say it was the greatest of all time, cause nothing can beat the self destruct tour performance(I think I was 15 at the time, and everything was great back then).
This show was definitely better than the Cincinnati show last feb. People were into it. People in indy have a good time, and it shows by the number of empty beer bottles and cans in the parking lot.

Another great show from Reznor & Co. I liked it much better then the one in Ft. Wayne back in Feb. This was my 4th show on the With Teeth tour, and again, I was not disappointed. I think my only disappointment was that I didn't go ahead & get pavilion seats, I thought for sure they would use those screens when NIN came on.
I could see that pit in the lawn someone mentioned earlier, was glad I escaped that. I wanted to say thanks again to Tyler, you were by yourself on the lawn & came over and hung out with me & my neice. We appreciate the smoke you shared with us Sorry if I kinda snobbed you at first, I was afraid you were gonna be the "token drunk guy" I was talking about.
I liked Peaches, I thought she sounded even better live. I like women who have the guts to be naughty.
Bauhaus, they sounded just as I remember when I was 15 dancing in the goth clubs. I even took a moment & lowered my head & did the goth dance.
It was definatly worth the 3 hours we drove to get there. We made it out of the crappy parking in 20mins, so that was a bonus.

Did anyone see anyone recording the entire concert in audio or video? I've only been to three shows now...the other two were Cleveland (10/09) and Lexington (2/24), neither of which have audio recordings out. This was definitely the best of the three, so PLEASE!

EDIT: On the Spiral forums someone said that there was an audio taper directly in front of them. Apparently the person's mics were completely showered by a water bottle though, so we'll see how that turns out.

Yeah, I'd love to have a full recording of this show. This was my first NIN show(been a fan for a long time, just never gone to a show) and I have to say it was great. The whole tailgaiting experience before the show to NIN themselves absolutely was the best time I've had this summer.

Thanks to everyone there who made it an enjoyable experience.

No, that guy was awesome! He was cracking everybody up. First he was way out by himself just going at it, and later started walking around. Funny stuff.

I've been to an outdoor concert before and loved it, but it was a slightly tamer band. I guess I learned what can happen! I was on the floor in Lexington, and it wasn't nearly that bad.

Ah well, it was still a good show!

For the first time, I didn't stand in line for 10 hours, praying for a M&G I knew wouldn't happen. I got there just as Bauhaus was about to go off stage. Drank a couple beers, got a bit drunk. Danced like a madman. Started to leave during Head Like a Hole, and was one of the first cars out of the lot. Got home by 1am to sleep in my own bed instead of a damn hotel over 5+ hours away. Best concert ever....

It was damn hot, but the show was incredible. Also, I love meeting fans that are seeing NIN for the first time. They make the experience even better, I think. Best part, Trent promised that he would be back with the new album.

I didn't take my digicam this time, so no pictures. Oh well.

once i buy a replacement chord cuz i lost my old one to hook up the digital cam ill have some photos and videos!

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen thanks for linking that up. This show blew my mind but I think the set list could have been better. Don't get me wrong, we rocked hardcore out in our seats but I would have loved to trade a couple songs for the few I was awed at in Fort Wayne, IN like Reptile and the Mr. Self Destruct opener. The energy from this show was much more intense! I'd have loved to hear TLBTB but oh well. in FTWA they came out pretty quick and sudden with a different kind of screen in front of the stage, I was right beside the stage and officially half deaf =) (thanks to the ticket lottery the coliseum opted to try out) Anyway, pls continue to post links to torrents and such from this show especially videos. This rapidshare.. I'm gonna check that out, pls post what ya have we'd all love it.

Yeah ..NIN kicked ass in indy .. I was in the pit ..With the colts jersey on .. Im sure I stuck out like a sour thumb .. I got Trents water bottle at the end of the show .. I never thought I would get one .. It made my day , And to the dude wo recorded the audio somewere near me .. thanxs.. I masterd it cuz the eq was way off , and I compressed it a little to make it sound crisp ... I hope you dont mind .. I will be posting it sometime soon ..So if anybody wants the masterd audio ... I've seen him play with Manson, APC, and Nails about 9 or 10 times combined and never seen him rock out like that. Maybe with Manson but I don't really remember. I thought it was pretty cool that he really got into it.

No, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was Milwaukee.

Either way, I thought it was funny, especially because he made that comment in one of the chats...something like, "Should I smash my guitar?" when someone asked why he never got wild on stage. It came across so deliciously sarcastic.

So when he did it, I couldn't stop laughing. God, I love this band.

alright, i'm going to answer some questions that i saw but don't know if they got answered....

1. yes the granny panties were signed by myself and several other spiral members. on the ass was written "The Midwest Spanks You For The Great Shows" and then had our signatures over various places. i would've taken pics of them on aaron's head and mic stand but security had came and asked me to turn off my camera so i had to turn it off or risk losing it....

2. Trent, from what i heard since i was on aaron's side, was referring to a sign that someone was holding that said "i want to make out with trent" or something along those lines...

3. Trent's second speech, after hurt, he said "we'll be back, i promise, at the beginning half of next year." which he also stated something similar in milwaukee.

out of the 3 shows i went to(chicago, milwaukee, and nindy) this one was the best of the 3....the band was more active, the crowd was more active and responsive to the band....it was just great, and this was my 5th time seeing them, not a lot as some, but i'm pleased to have seen them that much....

also if anyone's interested, i have pics from cincinnati(02_25_06), chicago(07_01_06), milwaukee(07_02_06), and indianapolis(07_03_06) posted on ninremixes.com in the photo section...there's a total of over 700 pics on there..some good, some not, but definitely not the worst...now i'm on a mission to see if the peaches setlist is in here....l8

Actually, The banner said "So... Wanna make out? (jk)". I would know, I wrote it. After going to 6 straight shows for that leg, You come up with jokes with the band (that being one of them), and they think its funny.

Yea, I was having a blast at that show. The best part was when I took out the banner during You know who you are, Trent was reading it and laughing, but Jeordie and Aaron looked at me and just walked away. It was nice to see the reactions on their faces. I had previously Written banners for the Miami show and the Buenos Aires show during the past tours.
