Amazing show. They played just about everything I wanted to hear (Somewhat Damaged, Piggy, Heresy, Dead Souls, Eraser...).
I can't remember the song (possibly 2nd or 3rd one) but the crowd was singing the lines before Trent started, so he let us finish and made a little bow at the end.
Aaron jumped in the crowd during March Of The Pigs, landed on top my friend and hit some poor guy in the face with his shoe, causing a minor nosebleed.
It seemed most people still had no clue what 'that song from the new album' was.
Some horrible human beings shouted something along the lines of 'Trentie' during Hurt, causing him to pause (I actually thought he'd leave the stage, with how pissed he looked because of that).
Apart from that the crowd was great.
All in all a massive gig.

Great performance, great audience. Hope they come back in august (Pukkelpop)

This was my second NIN concert. Saw them in Paris in 2005.
Really good to see NIN in such a venue (first time at AB for me, really lovely place).
I noticed that NIN is picking up some new fans... quite a lot of faces looked below 20 or close to it
I had the impression though that some of these new fans were not really into the music, but more into the moshing part of the concert. Don't want to sound like an old fart, but I really did not understand moshing during the Big Come Down or the initial part of Eraser (really one of my favourite songs ever)
As somebody mentioned, some retards were also talking during Hurt, really disgraceful during such a beautiful and profound song...
anyway, excellent concert, though much shorter than in 2005. Another 5 songs would have been very welcome

I think it was not Trentie but Johnny (Cash). 2nd Concert this year and probably the best. Set list is almost the same as Koln but they replaced TDTWWA and The Begining of the end with Big ComeDown and Deadsouls.
I was really happy they did it.

1. During Piggy, you probably noticed that a Second mic was set on the stage when Trent thrown the first mic in the crowd. When the roady gave him the second mic on the statif it felt down. Did you saw Trent face and gesture.. really funny..

Man that was an awesome gig. Second time I saw them live and the first time I actually saw them indoors.
There was maybe a bit too much moshing than I would like but then again that's what I get for standing in front

EDIT: by the way, was it my impression or were the synths a bit too quiet? I sometimes had trouble hearing them, maybe it was because of my earplugs but normally those shoulf filter everything equally or something.
Interesting fact tho: there were INDEED smokers, moshers and at least one anoying Rammstein fanboy, how ironic

I would have joined, but the problem is that nothing is guaranteed imho.
Met a guy at the concert who had been to 3 shows as a spiral member, and never got a soundcheck or meet & greet or anything.
Anyway I'm totally psyched about the show itself, the setlist, the performance, and catching 2 of Trent's black sexy-as-hell picks.

One of the best gigs I've ever attented.
Great sound.
Ladytron wasn't bad but much too loud.
I had ringing in the ears the first two hours in bed.
Anyone else suffering from it?
NIN got so much energy from the crowd. So I wasn't annoyed by the moshers at all. I joined them happily during some songs. I cannot understand people who can stay seated on the balcony during such a performance.
For me it would be a punishment.

That girl was fucking annoying during Hurt. Trent just paused waiting for her to STFU while the crowed said Shhhhh. Then at the end when the lights went out, Trent threw his tea at the front row. We felt liquid hit us, but it definitely smelled stronger than water.
Great show overall. I finally got to hear Last, Heresy and Ruiner live. Love the way they swing the lights in the beginning of Eraser. Everything else has already been said.
Bonus for the Soundcheck / Meet and Greet too. Trent said the band hasn't gotten over their jetlag and they've been here a month. He also said they will play in Ireland one way or another.

I first heard of NIN at Rock Werchter 2005 and they blew me away... It was the discovery of a lifetime...
Now as a fan, again, I was blown away by such a strong performance. I stood on the second row and had a clear sight of everything. I was speechless and at night I replayed the concert over and over in my head.
What I felt were the moments of the concert were:
- as mentioned, when the audience sang a part of MOTP and Trent didn't stop but let us continue. I felt admiration by him. I felt proud to be in that audience.
- when Trent sang Hurt and some girl shouted (also as mentioned). How Trent & the audience made her shut up and silently sang along... Pure emotions, pure genius...
NIN is since Werchter '05 my favourite band and they even improved what I knew and heard about them... As I said a strong performance... A perfect performance...
And it isn't over, because this night I'm going again... Maybe I'll watch from the balcony this time... But I'm not that sure...

the gig was amazing. first time i saw NIN (i only saw a part of 'Head like a hole' @ Werchter 05, their last song there, because i went to Interpol)

when i came to the venue and asked some people where the spiral entrance was, the first guy only wanted to speak french, does he want Trent to sing in french too ??.....
then i came back to the venue around 8.15 and i got a nice special card, later i saw that this was a reservation for a seat.....huh ?.........
show was really cool....very intense........starting with somewhat damaged was so awesome.........
first i was up at the balcony......... i saw Trent coming up on stage behind a body-guard walking to the front of the stage, so no one downstairs could see him.......
later downstairs in the crowd, was easy to get to the front, people were kind of cool, no assholes around

The show in Brussels was my first Nine Inch Nails concert ever
All that I can say is it was completely outrageous.
After 3 or 4 songs I reached to the first line so I had a clear view on everything.
I made a small video of Survivalism - about 3 minutes. Its not a full song because a security guard noticed what I was doing
I'll put it on YouTube tonight.
I will remember this show forever because I managed to catch Josh Freese's stick. I had to dive through the barrier to get it but it was worth it

No I was wearing earplugs. After I went to see Tool in november my left ear was ringing for 2 weeks straight, after that I decided to buy a couple of earplugs. @ r00t, I didn't take any pictures, even if I did bring a camera to the show they probably would have taken it away from me.
I did get my hands on a yellow NIN pick, I didn't catch it myself, but the guy who also got me my spiral ticket gave it to me.

Yeah I'm also a Tool fan and yes I was also in the front, I was standing somewhere in between Trent and Jeordie, well near the end I was almost right in front of Jeordie.

I thought it was a wonderful concert, even though I'd hoped for more song from TF and WT. But there was a great vibe, and I was standing on the second balcony to the left of the stage, so we had a great view from there. And it was really great they played Survivalism, it sounds really good live.
And I *LOVED* the lightshow! We'd seen the trucks parked across from the AB Café, and we'd been pretty anxious about wat the show would be like (because the AB is a great venue but the stage doesn't allow elaborate shows), but it was sublime. I really enjoyed it.
Can't believe no one mentioned the Trent-stick, though. You know, the brown stick with the pink sellotape they used to work out the height of the microphone during the set-up?
As for the screaming girl... that was... crap. I thought he'd leave, when he stopped playing. I'm glad the audience all started to go ssshhh, think maybe that solved things, but it was still crap because it was really silent by the time he hit the second verse, we even heard a cup fall somewhere. She definitely ruined it.
Anyway, I am so glad to have seen them live again. It was just amazing. Really made my year, which has been crap so far. So Thank you Trent!

But not at that moment, that was what upset me the most: people had started out singing along, clapping, being noisy, but by the second verse everyone had gone really, really silent. r00t, they couldn't have played longer even if they'd wanted to: the AB has an agreement with the neighbourhood that they stop at 10:30. It would have been nice if they'd come back, but well... I can't complain about what we did get!
And De Morgen had a bad review, but still gave it 3 stars.

Might be the older one here, i saw NIN in Gent @ Vooruit in 1994 ( with PIG, a german band? openning ) , the show I saw in Brussels was really good (first night). Quite little bit more "positive" than the one in Vooruit ( Downward spiral tour ) too bad i couldn't go to the second one where they did play SIN and terrible lie
Anyway , good to see that some people did enjoy the show as much as i did

Then we got in AB around 4.30. Trent was playing the Frail on the piano. During the songs a roadie handed over chocolate. Then the band members (except A Cortini who ignored everybody) came down from the stage and we were allowed one item to be signed per person. exchanged some words. Trent came last. He shook hands, chatted briefly, accepted to be photographed and we were asked to go back outside and reform the line.

Yeah I could have been there, I had a spiral ticket thanks to frantic666, but I missed my train because there was some kind of cycling race in my hometown and all the roads were blocked.
