This was my first NIN show. I think that NIN blow my expectations and destroyed my mind. It was really heavy and powerfull show, as you can guess looking at setlist. Arron is fucking amazing. This guy has got a lot of power. I'll write more later...

Great show, as usual. This one was a bit rougher than Brussels and Amsterdam with quite a few more people being pulled out.

Thank God it was 'warmer' standing outside today. It was great to finally meet Lea and see some familiar faces. My group ended up meeting some random guy in Amsterdam and talking him into coming to Berlin with us. He was not sorry he did!

I was standing near Jeordie in front of all the speakers and DAMN - that was loud! I forgot earplugs so I had to stuff tissues in my ears. Thank God I did or I'd be deaf today for sure. I was next to a cute little woman who said "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen , when Trent comes out on stage I'm getting a divorce - I even have the papers with me!"

Thank God I'm loving the setlists because they've been pretty similar between the last 5 shows. I'm really hoping for "TDS setlist" before I have to go back to the U.S. And Deep would be nice too. The Big Comedown is the greatest live performance, IMO. Goddamn.

Woooo - gotta get ready for today's show!
Master of the Ninth Arch
yep, last night was awesome - i'm sure tonight's show will be great, too!!!!
Great setlist ;-)

The Berlin audience did not disappoint. As expected, they were insane. Of course, it seemed like every wuss getting pulled out because it was too rough for them had to be pulled out from right in back of me. That was not fun, but the show itself was amazing. I'm really loving Survivalism live. Another fist song is never a bad thing.

Perkules, it was great meeting you and your friends. Thanks for helping my friend out for Vienna.

PoPo were kickass too. They had some sound and equipment problems (including losing the mike when it fell off stage), but still put on a great show. These guys really need a tech. Too bad AN couldn't have helped out like he did in Lisbon.

I think they also played Reptile.

Hey,

furbyx4, thanks for your great pics! I think my pics of my Single Use Camera won't be so good as yours cause no zoom and I (not high person) stood in the masses.
NINthan, h6a6t6e and with tired eyes, thanks for trying to write down the setlist. I'm not able to remember the order. (But a Fan from Switzerland want to know it from me so you helped me much.:-D)

"Hamburg"Girl, are you here? Thanks for the tip to visit this site! The concert was great, wasn't it? (Is it allowed to write in German, what do you think?)

"Tall"Boy, thanks for taking two pics for me. We will see how they are.

See ya!
they did not play "reptile"
i think the setlist of h6a6t6 is correct

The show was fucking amazing! The setlist was outstanding, I mean come on, they played Last and it sounded fantastic!

Trent was a madman on stage, jumping and screaming and dancing, knocking things off the stage and he threw water bottles in the audience two times I think! They absolutely blew my mind! I just couldn´t stand still and was dancing during the whole show, as was my wife which isn´t a NIN fan after all, but I think she changed her mind!

My wife and I were standing on the balcony and we had the perfect view of them, I think I never saw the band as good as yesterday!

This was my first NIN show and I am really looking forward to the next ones!

Oh, yes Trent said something too about that they are working on a new album and it isn´t the one that will come out in a few days, meaning "Year Zero", what the fuck? What album do they mean? I really hope it is not the second part of Year Zero, but something different! He also said that they will be back very shortly, as they have a bunch of new songs to play for their fans!

I give this show a 9.5 out of 10! They were fucking incredible!

And Trent is looking better than ever, since he is letting his hair grow!

Those guys rock the shit out of the audience!

Oh yes, and I got a really big Year Zero poster, that were hanged outside of the hall. The whole street was full of those and I ripped one off.

Aaron North is Nine Inch Nails

What is the Mill About Intro??
Prince Adept
It's when the roadies 'mill about' on stage, pretending to be setting up while the intro to "Somewhat Damaged" plays.

I´m quite late, but you know, I was celebrating my birthday.
Atmosphere was fabulous. This tour reminds me Selfdectruction tour except of better technical quality. Songs from YZ sound really good live. Last sucked (I don´t really get what do you guys like about it). TDTWWA and Eraser were breathtaking.
North sucks.

What a great show! I was with a friend who actually is not a nin fan, but he was totally blown away. :D We were at the second row. The audience was so quiet seeing the popo, and I started to worrying about a lame crowd. But I knew I was wrong when nin came on stage. Everybody suddenly went crazy and kept pushing and squashing. I would like to take some photos, but there was even no space for my hand to reach my pocket. :D My shirt, my pants and my every single hair got wet very soon. More than 10 people I think were pulled out. For many moments I thought I would be the next one but I survived. :P

The setlist was perfect to my friend cuz Broken is his favorite. I was expecting more fragile tracks but I was cool with this one. The roughness made it kinda special. I totally fall in love with "The Big Come Down" live, gotta love the emotions from the song and Trent on stage. I felt destroyed after the show and forgot to steal a poster lol. One of the best hot and sweaty nights in my life.

I love the moment when everyone bursted into laughter when we saw this ;)

Well it´s that they didn´t play Last for a very long time, because Trent said that this song was too difficult to sing and I always wanted to hear this song live, so this was a very special present to me, being the first time on a NIN concert!

Also I must say that no Live DVD can capture the energy that those guys put on stage, specially Trent. The Big Comedown was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Such energy and very well performed by the band.

It was a night I will always remember!

If you want to be really pissed off, read this article on NIN which was published in "Die Welt Online". It's one of the worst articles I've ever read and most of it is just not true.

Please feel free to flame me if you think I should have posted it elsewhere.

I know I already posted it in the section for the 25th but it refers to the same concert...

The show was pretty nice, but the crowd was just fucking insane - unfortunately I've got washed out from 3rd row on Heresy and had to watch the show from some distance (still trying to focus on the gig not staying alive). The setlist was nearly the same as 07.03 at London (only Ruiner was replaced by The Beginning Of The End) so I was kind of disappointed.

Maybe if not the audience I'd have better feelings about the show (more details in 25.03 topic).

Greetings to a guy from the spiral that recognized me before the concert (I was so surprised that I've forgot to ask your nickname) - have fun on next gigs!
And a massive special greeting for Asian girl who known polish, german and english! Rock on! (sorry for not remembering your name - i was to excited).

her name was christa - i'm not sure about spelling though. greetings christa!

You are so right. I think we shouldn't read such newspaper or magazine articel because it's a waste of time, you get angry and we have our wonderful memory. But good to know that "Die Welt" belongs to "Die Bild" or "Die Berliner Zeitung".

It's a German joke, so you don't need to laugh...
