Tonight I got Nine Inch Nailed one more time. Trent was incredible this time. He moved like a 30 year old, at "Gave Up" he actually fell on the floor, it was like the good old days. The Bass at "Me I'm Not" made you almost crap your pants, it was pretty uncomfortable, but "The Great Destroyer" was unbelievable. "The Good Soldier" is simply boring live and they should finally stop "Gave Up" because it has been played dead and it doesn't have to be on the set.
Before "Dead Souls" he introduced the other band members because he said that the credits were mistakenly going all to him.

confirming setlist. -> FUCKING AWESOME SHOW, almost crazy as Wien 2005 !!
support band: Noisecut (SK) -> SIMPLY PERFECT.

What the fuck surprised Trent ? He thought, he doesn't have 5000 fans here to fill up the venue ? ;) :) :)

pozdravujem: - 2 vytesenych ludkov, co vyhrali meet&greet.

The show fucking rulled!
I really didn´t expect The Wretched and The Day The World Went Away. The sound was fine, could have been little bit echoed. The drums during TDTWWA were to loud. Trent seemed to be really into the show. He said he was kind of surprised - not many people in the venue. This was most likely the bet YZ performance I´ve seen (out of three).
He sung the the secod verse of TBOTE instead of the first, however, people did´t noticed.
I met Aaron before the show, but I didn´t really talk to him.

Highligts: TDTWWA, Dead Souls, The Great Destroyer.

I´m in the internet café in Brno waiting for the bus to Jihlava a Prague. Next show withing few hours. Can´t wait. Hope for Ruiner/Heresy and possibly some Fragile songs.

North sucks.

This must have been one of the best, if not THE best, show I've ever seen.

Everything was absolutely amazing, awesome fans, long playtime, Great Destroyer blew me away, The Frail + The Wretched and TDTWWA were a very pleasant surprise. There wasn't a single time I got bored...

Wanna do it again...

show was amazing, liked it better than the one on saturday, also the setlist was better to my mind. it was incredible that the audience in the hall which was anything but full were so energetic, that was just awesome!

It was great that during "The Frail" and during "Hurt" the crowd was so quiet, I think this act of tolerance and respect for Trent made the show much better, just to see that there aren't just wasted assholes in the crowd. I think at one point he even thanked the crowd for the silence.
@joess:

thanks for beautiful pics - I had only my lousy cell phone-camera and the pictures are very very poor.

I missed some more "old" songs but anyway, the show was the best NIN-show I have "ever" seen. light show was phantastic...

dunno whether ha thanked for that, but he looked very pleased during hurt like he appreciated the silence.. it was unbelievable how quiet the crowd was - probably my first show with no arsholes screaming "i love you trent" or whatever..

you can see some pics at http://ninczech.blog.cz/galerie/nine-in ... -13-8-2007 not the best quality, but some are OK
pictures from the show next day - prague are here...http://ninczech.blog.cz/galerie/nine-in ... -13-8-2007
yes, it really was the best NIN show Ive ever seen. and the greatest thing is that it was in my hometown.
The fact that there was like 2000 less ppl than the capacity was frustrating on one side, but on the other, the energy of the audience was the same as if there were 20 000ppl yet it wasnt such a masacre as in wien30/3/07 when I actually had to run to the back entrance due to lack of space and air..

I noticed that trent messed up a line, but at least he didnt mess up the whole verse like manson at novarock this year:D
And he seemed generally pleased with the show...during Hurt I was having a feeling that hes something between smiling, laughing and crying...:)
and when he hit the mic stand and smashed himself to the floor it was really like trent in the old times.

Btw...did you notice that he was drinking a beer drawn right in incheba? :D
I read somewhere that it was a specific demand from trent to local management.

Oh yeah and was it just me, or aaron north really was strutting through the audience before the show? cos I was standing quite in front, on the left side and like 10minutes before noisecut started to play I spotted a guy on my left, just like 2 metres away from me, looking around, who suspiciously resembled aaron...
oh, btw, I made really good pictures (here

and also videos in a good quality with quite good sound, which aint uploaded yet cos its like 1GB overall, but will post link later if someones interested.

yes, we´re definitely interested!!! :)

and you´re right, it was a great show, the best hurt ever heard :) but then prague moved it one level above - even though in bratislava the sound was probably a bit better and i had enough space for myself to enjoy the music - no survival challenges :) but the atmosphere in prague was like from a different world, really! :)

My personal highlights: well, Trent introducing the band :D plus Aaron jumping on the speakers and destroying his guitar in front of us (I was in the first row). Also, seeing The Great Destoyer again, but this time from so close was a whole new (and great) experience.

Plus, the opening band (NoiseCut - here's their MySpace) was pretty good, too.

Does anyone remember the preshow tracklist of this show?

I remember I heard these songs (before at least one of my 3 shows - Sziget, Bratislava, Prague):

NIN - Survivalism_OpalHeartClinic_Niggy_Tardust!(Escaped...
Public Image Ltd. - Flowers of Romance
Cat Power - He War
Pere Ubu - Final Solution
Autolux - Turnstile Blues
The Cure - Six Different Ways
Stereolab - Difficult Fourth Title
Buzzcocks - Why Can't I Touch It?

+ I believe I heard a song by TV On The Radio but I'm not sure which one. Also, another song that sounded very familiar but I still don't know what it was. So, does anyone remember the rest of the tracks?

Isn't Trent a recovering alcoholic who almost died because of his addiction?

This is a bit difficult to write ’cause I’ve been to the Prague show after this one. That show is still filling my mind.

I was at the front on Aaron's side. It was a nice change. There was some guy standing behind me, who apparently had decided to protect me and at least one other girl from the pressure of the crowd. He had his hands on the railing and he tried to keep them almost straight the whole time. That led to a weird situation where I had space all around me, and the show didn’t feel as intense as it has felt before. So I came to the conclusion that bodies pressed together are an essential part of the NIN live experience...

I was very surprised to hear the Frail and the Wretched, even more surprised to hear TDTWWA. Before Dead Souls Trent introduced the other band members, and during the song there was a small gathering at Alessandro’s corner, behind Trent’s back. It looked like the guys were there gossiping or something. And looking at Trent. Maybe they weren’t expecting to get introduced.

I think Hurt was even more emotional than usually. Or maybe that was just me. There were a few tears in my eyes.

Thanks Fredy_Brown for keeping me company and helping with the bus tickets and everything. I enjoyed talking with you.

But wait, one second... let's get back to the moment, when Trent falls on the ground during "Gave Up" - anyone has the footage? Or photos?
And how did it looked like, seizure perhaps? :D You don't fall on the ground everyday, you know. :F
Master of the Ninth Arch
^He did the same thing the night before (Sziget Festival, Budapest) & after (Prague), too, so I guess it's part of the show/concept. I was surprised when I first saw it though. It looked great. He did it at the end of Gave Up which was the last song before the "screen" came down (for the first time).
