We got an Italian speech made by Alessandro (about Record Companies,Stealing music,etc...). Well it was Trent that spoke, and Alessandro translated in our language

Perfect show: great sound, Trent and the band were in perfect conditions... really...
Too bad the setlist was almost identical to the one of the april show in Milano... but the stage and the lights were simply amazing!

Amazing show! especially after reading (and seeing youtube) the germany show. The whole band seemed to really enjoy themselves... So glad to see Heresy and Eraser! I videoed a bit of eraser and i'm pretty sure TR messed up the lyrics a bit...He is human after all!!

It was my fifth time seeing NIN, i saw them at two Big Day OUts in australia and this 'festival' show blew those shows away!! i would even go as far as saying it was better than the two times i saw them in London at the brixton academy...and they were awesome shows! The lights were fantastic, really impressed with them, and playing after tool really seemed to drive them to really performing (I thought tool were fantastic! but it was my first time seeing them so i can't compare...)

HIghlighs for me...

Heresy - got everyone jumping...really impressed with the Italians screaming along...

Eraser -amazed they played this one!! and the screen in front of them was awesome.

Hapiness breakdown - reminded me how much i like the 'fixed' ep...the chaos of the big destroyer was very cool...loved the static on the screen.

Only- nicely played. The visuals were very subtle...you can see why TR was so pissed with the Germany show...it really added to the performance..

Loved the setlist, loved the energy, lolved the show...suffereing now at work but more than worth it!!

it was a great performance yesterday, people who saw multiple NIN concerts comment that this was probably their best european gig this summer. no malfunctions, incidents, Trent seemed to be in a very good mood. at a certain point he introduced Cortini and used him as a translator, talking in his ear.

Agree, almost better then the one of april... TR was so much relaxed... also during Hurt there was no screams or stupid idiots shouting like in Milano... and the black shirt with black tie was so, you know, classy!

great show and great day overall, everything went smooth. initially I was quite scared about the italian tool fans, there were too much metal heads! luckly everything went good anyway and tool+nin is something I don't think we'll ever see anytime soon again here in italy. Tool show has been good too, also beause of the stage set and the lights, I don't remember they ever brought them in Italy shows before, but I still prefer the performance of the Lateralus tour. The band still sounds good, but Maynard voice is just not the same anymore, sometime it's really difficult to hear him actually singing... it's sad but true, or at least this is my opinion after I went to three show in the last years.
Back to NIN Trent seemed really relaxed and enjoyed the show, the quality he's putting in the live performance in the last tours is really impressive and the Alessandro's speech was fucking funny.
the only minus was that the tracklist was very similar to the Milan one, too bad once again we could not hear tdtwwa and itv, we can just hope for the next time!

P.S. anyone has the tracklist for tool too?

Heey peeps, this is some pics i took at the festival. As you can see i was there for 3 bands only.....I took loads more of tool and nin but they sucked...took much dust around and also i suck at photos. Managed a few good ones though...
enjoy....

Dust? Dust, anyone? Great show. The organisation of the gig was abysmal. Two bars - only serving tuburg? I wouldn't cross the street for tuburg. Two food stalls but you couldn't buy water at them so you had to queue separately for water. And this whole you pay for food and then fight your way to the front of another queue to give some dude the receipt while he vaguely considers preparing the food for you! Insane and the queue for the toilets was depressing. I spent an hour queuing for the jacks in the evening - missing the start of jambi. It wouldn't have killed the organisers to rent a couple a porto-loos, maybe a couple of taps with drinking water. I'm Irish and my female friend and I aren't really used to such weather so we nearly fucking died of heat exhaustion and boredom in the afternoon - the opening bands were diabolical - though trail of dead did kind of win the audience over. TOOL were excellent. Nin were completely awesome as everyone has said. Coolest crowd I've experienced for a NIN gig - only thing I want to add - I think it was after 'only' - Trent said, 'ok. anyone on the crew awake?' and then suddenly the screen was hoisted up - funny - a bit spinal tap.

But the highlight of my entire holiday came when we went back to the town centre after the gig to look for a bar still open. We gave up and sat in the Piazzo with the statue of neptune and this american woman came over and asked us did we know where an ATM was and I said, 'ya. there's one over here.' She was delighted we spoke English and so we brought her to an atm but it didn't work so I said I'd buy us a round if she showed us the bar that was still open. She had said she was Justin Chancellor's wife, Shelee. But I didn't believe her til Justin and Danny showed up at the bar. Justin ended up buying the round and we hung out with them til we were kicked out of the bar. They were really, really nice, cool, friendly and funny and we talked about all kinds of shit. Still can't believe it. Anyway, overall I had a great time in Italy. Woo! Sucks to be back in Ireland.

Was your friend with a black shirt, with a "very white" skin that suddenly became red because of the sun?
Were you talking about NIN & tool shows around Europe this summer?
I think I saw you in the queue before entering the arena
Bricklayer
yea my friend was wearing black and she is quite pale and she did get a bit burned. We were talking about lots of stuff in the queue but that was probably us. hi.
