Hey guys
Just thought I might share with you what might have been the best night of my life.
Unkle, despite of me not liking the album, gave a freaking brilliant act (Especially with James Lavelle and they're guitarist (Who totally rocked the place and was totally high and cool)), But my only regret is that the guys at the show wasn't so interested in unkle. So they weren't so into the music (Mostly because they were saving they're energy for NIN).
Really a shame since they sounded excellent live (Only my friends and about 20~ people out of 200~ were into they're music. And give me a break, they are really close to the NIN genre and they sounded excellent, so its not like people didn't like it).
Anyway, we swept through unkle pretty quickly.
We waited a hour, a dude who resembles Silent Bob checked the tools for NIN.
And then, Josh comes up, and its dark. suddenly Aaron came to the stage and started Hyperpower!.
Man, it could be because it wasn't in both DVDs, it could be because I have adjusted myself to the DVDs. but the show looked so vivid. It looked amazing. All of the lightning and effects.
Oh, and one other thing which I've noticed is that they came up with the suit and the Art is Resisstance patch. It was really cool as well.
So they ended it up, after much much excitement from the crowd. And then, "the Beginning of the End" with Trent coming and everyone screams, wow... It was really a unique feeling, really for me who connects so well with Trent and am as well a kind of an outsider, to be with a group of people who was as passionate as me. Really gave me chills.
They continued the show with all the songs I like, many from Broken (As I anticipated) And did such a... Monumental job. Better then the "Beside You In Time" DVD (And it means ALLOT for someone who watched the DVD for many times).
And then the screen came down. Trent opened up with "Me, Im Not "(I believe) And although the remix is slight, it is still a really great song (They had a computer by the way, but I guess you figured it out already). The great thing was that the when Trent played the ordinary song there was a green background, as always. BUT, when he remixed it, it was "scratched" (if there is a standard shape for the ordinary song ( the green glowish thoingy), the "Shape" has turned into white, in contrast to the green. really great.
he followed it up with the great destroyer (He started off in just a plain white light (Kinda blinding, but what do i expect when I'm standing in the first row ^_^)) Which i knew what was going to happen because I saw the remix clip from Youtube. Still, of course, hearing it live is very exciting (as of course all the songs).
then, they did Eraser in the song afterwards and then Trent threw his tambourine. it was thrown quite near me, just too bad i couldn't reach it.
in Piggy Trent sang, got to the chorus, and then BAM, dark. And we saw a puffy character heading towards me. Then, Trent appears in front of us (Kinda funny, because if it weren't for the pushings in March Of The Pigs I wouldn't have gotten to the center, where Trent came).
Trent did what he did in All That Could Have Been DVD and came near the crowd. I was shoving and scratching, but in the end, i got to touch his patch, ear and face Basically.
You may laugh at me now, but I really don't care, since Trent has been a role model for me, it was honestly a dream came true.
Anyway, he then gave the crowd the microphone and it was really cool.
Only Bad thing is, that Jeordie got his Bass transformer (electrical thingie) screwed up, so they didn't do The Hand That Feeds and maybe another one.
they also did an extended version of The Day The Whole World Went Away, which then later, Trent has said "We are trying to do a special version of it, but it just sucks so we will move on" And the crowd laughed and forgave him.
Between here and there, he sometimes gave a speech. he gave the familiar speech of "Its really great to get all of this support in a country which we haven't toured before". But, I must say, Trent really made it feel honest and true (Tho truth to be said, the crowd just went freaking NUTS and jumped, waved, and NIN really liked it. For instance, the show was about 2 Hours and a few minutes more, just because they enjoyed the crowd so much).
Oh, and another one was, that Trent wanted to say something, but this woman sat on someone, and flashed a shirt. The shirt was something like "Trent *bleep* me. Trent was going to say something when he looked at the shirt and said: "Thats a Nice Shirt".
and it took him about a minute to say what he was going to say (After of course many sarcastic remarks)

By the way, he did say that " I am going to add this country to the touring I'll do next time" and overall was very flattering for the crowd. And you know what? I do believe him, really such a fantastic show.
Another thing which I enjoyed of deeply, is that he performed WITH the computer, WITH all of the lightnings, AND with the screen. Really the ultimate NIN experience.
They ended up with Head Like a Hole, which at the ending Aaron smashed the guitar and then threw it towards the Amplifier. Really amusing, tho no extreme bashing.
And so, with the lights off, all of the fans knew what was going to happen, and the guy which brought the keyboard to the front of the stage only made them yell it more.
Accordingly, Trent came with Aaron and began Hurt. Now, all of the "Hard-Core" Fans were in the center, with me, and just screaming the lyrics with a background of falling starts dropping from the curtain.
Its a really "You should have been there" moment, since it was really really moving (By the way, later I found out that the female friend which came with us cried) And it was heart breaking to shout out the words with the background and with Trent. Honestly.
Then, Trent left and summed up probably what was the best night of my life.
To Sum it up, My head hurts (Headbanging, strong lights, jumping, sleeping only 4 hours on the previous night), My belly hurts, my arms hurts from waving too much, I cant bend my knees since it was in the same position for 2 Hours- Straight . My back is probably in the worst shape of my life.
But... Screw it all. I don't care about that. Because what i got in return was the most extraordinary, unique, AMAZING experience I've ever had.
Moreover, this show made my 3 friends which I've brought to look at Trent at a completely another light. He is not just a cool and weird person who makes good music. He is MUCH more.
