No Encore

But they played the Wretched, that made me happy!

The crowd was also rather douchebaggish.

Douchebaggish? Really? I was in a seated section on the left side of the stage and everyone in our section (S) was standing /dancing the entire time.

The pit had a fair share of dicks, but what concert doesn't? No Encore really bugged me though, and what the hell was the increased prices on shirts?

I think that was everything. I was having the best time ever until we got fucked out of an encore. Thanks a lot, Shitskatoon crowd. I can't wait to get out of this hole and move to a real city. My friend says he saw someone chuck a beer on the stage and he thinks that's why we got no encore, can anyone confirm/deny this?

I mean, crowd aside, it was a hell of a show and a dream come true to finally see Trent and co. live. I just feel like the whole thing was tainted by the lack of encore. I was so pumped for In This Twilight, too. But such is life. I also would have liked to hear at least a bit of acknowledgment that this was his first time playing in this city.

Anyway, anyone here I woulda seen at the show? I was the long haired dude with the green military-esque AIR shirt and black bandana. Waited in the pre-sale room forever and then rocked the barrier right in front of Finck for the whole show.

I was dead close to the barrier for Finck too. I had the Means hoody on. And i saw Trent getting mad over a few sound problems i think. Maybe that had to do with the lack of encore? I figured first time in Saskatoon, we'd get a sweet encore with Reptile or something. I almost didn't believe they weren't coming back out.

I would love to hear that it was all due to sound problems... basically 'cause I'd hate to think my city pissed off Trent. I don't really wanna have to travel out of province to see my next NIN show.

Good show, shorter than the Calgary show earlier this year. I was kinda disappointed Trent didn't say a word to the crowd the entire night. Someone must've pissed him off that night.

I ws on he rail by Fink. Overal i thought nin played a better show then edmonton. So much energy and anger i think

The nin.com presale tckets were fantastc. Head security came in and opened the enternce doors to inside the min part pf the venue 1 at a ime so those who got there first had thebestr ail spots. Made everyone walk nobody ran. I walk up right to he rail by where Fink would be

Trent had multiple sound issues I didn't notice it exept one song where he kept telling them

As fore no encore that sucked but nn walked off stage and in30 seconds the lights came on and crew started taking apart the stage.

The most disapointing part of no encore was overall the show was better then the edmonton show until that point

My fiancee and I have been fans of NIN for about 14 years and this was the first time that we finally got a chance to see them and were really, really excited!

We started dead center of the show and got pushed up to the front...(not that I'm complaining about that >;D) but yea there were a bunch of douchebags
especially in the pit area, so by the time Gave up was half way done we moved over to Robin's side where the douchebaggery wasn't.

I sang my heart out to every song even when getting pushed/shoved/elbowed/hit, my voice is very hoarse today...except it really sucks that there was no encore,
especially since we got The Wretched and The Great Destroyer added to our setlist, so I was expecting Reptile added to the encore...but nothing.
Other than that and the many douchebags it was a great show especially the visuals...just wow, those were amazing!

Also I wore my custom made Echoplex [Live] shirt. But again no encore, so I bet it didn't make sense to many . But if anyone saw me, Hello!

Dude, I fricken saw you! I knew it was someone from ets when I saw that shirt...the show was sweet indeed, but not as awesome as the Calgary show (not gonna lie). Calgary set was pretty much identical, except at that show we got meet your master and hurt instead of the wretched, plus an encore (obviously). That bummed me out the most...I totally thought there was an encore coming, seeing as how I hear there has been one at every show and there was one in Calgary (4-5 songs), and then the lights came on and crew started taking the stage apart...bunk! bleh, anyways, good show, hope trent & co. enjoyed it as much as a did...

REX, Hey I was standing right next to you guys. I will post some of my videos I took onto youtube. I personally thought the show in winnipeg was better than this one, but I was having a hard time enjoying it because of the few crowd members being ass members.

Was anyone able to get a hold of one of the setlists, to see what would have been on the encore? I'm very curious as to if Reptile would have been played.

Oh shit, right on! I was gonna ask what kind of camera you had because what you took looked good on the LCD (at least from what I saw) and any point and shoot I bring to any show fucking sucks (so I didn't bother for this show) but I thought it was an impersonal question, so I didn't bother asking

It's a Canon SD1000. It actually has very good sound quality for what it is. Check out my youtube channel of the show in winnipeg from this year... I will also be uploading these asap.

Awesome, It's good to know I can put my faith back in a point and shoot from Canon...I think I'll pick up a SD1000 or a SD1100 IS at some point then for whatever concert I happen to go to next.

BTW so glad to got that clean screen effect during Pinion to Wish, that was really cool.

According to the videos bt posted it's 1 Ghosts I and 28 Ghosts IV. Have a listen for yourself, I'm pretty sure those are the tracks, thus making the setlist this:

Hey just want to say that i bought this one just before my nin show and i never got the chance to see if it was good or not. well the video is awesome, the sound and the image were so clear and i had a 4GO card, i was bummed when i came home cause if i would have known that the quality was this good i would have filmed the entire show... so go for this camera really

I came from Calgary to see the show, one of the guys I did the road trip with went to see the show in Kelowna, a couple nights later. When he got back he told me that he had met some of the crew in Kelowna and they said that there was no encore because 6 or 7 goofs were throwing shit at the band all show.

Supposedly Trent's words at the end of the show were "Fuck those guys"

Can't say I blame him, it was the best show I've ever seen, but one of the shittiest crowds ever
