Hopefully by now you know the drill, but it bears worth repeating: DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU WERE NOT AT TONIGHT'S SHOW. TO DO SO WILL SEE YOUR REPLY MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR INTO THE ETHER.

Carry on, wayward son.

I LOVE this incarnation of NIN. They rocked.

The stage is cool. I like the new visuals that were added since Hawaii.

I can't wait for Edm & Calgary...Pemberton was a total gong show. It made for a rowdy and intense crowd.

corona radiata was not played. God Given was wicked. Visuals in Only were insane, him coming through the screen static when he walked near was so cool, seemed like it was reacting to him. So glad they did Head Down, amazing live, and my fav. slip song. 2nd time seeing em, and fuckin blown away again. Too bad they were the first night of this festival cause nothing can top them! I'm still here, so posting this from my iPhone. I'll post some pix when I get back home next week sometime.

Corona Radiata was played as background music while setting up the screens and laptops for The Warning.....hence it making the setlist. They didn't really play 999 999 but lo and behold we still heard it.

Yes, it was! I hope they keep it on the setlist.

great show! god given was awesome. the whisper part is prerecorded. piggy was closer to the album version. no upright bass like rehearsal. justin is great in nin, but i think his vocals are a bit sing-songy, esp. discipline. i don't think they're playing corona radiata before the warning. it sounds more like what they played before me, i'm not on the last tour. i love the video screen drum machine in echoplex. they cut the lalalala's on that one. the visuals are intense and so was the band's performance.

Oh what a fantastic show. It's been since Ridgefield since I last saw NIN, and they are still 100% amazing! I was super happy with my spot up front -- thanks to the guy who let me rest my elbows on his shoulders to get camera footage (which I will post sooooon!). A kick in the jaw was well worth how close I was.

God Given such a highlight! The whole festival was really cool, but NIN was just -- by far the BEST. Not a doubt about it. Lots of pictures to post too. Glad to have you back Robin! :)

I'm amused at the 50-year old Tom Petty fans talking about how amazing the "light show" was.

My first NIN concert! I used my friend's blackberry to post that set listing right after it ended, haha. Apparently I forgot to type in some of the songs ><"

Hearing the soundcheck the night before was both random and amusing.

Okay -- because I am completely terrible at anything to do with computers, I am going to post my link of Pemberton pictures from facebook here. Pictures 18-35 are NIN (mainly Robin and Trent), and the rest are from other things. I am trying to get my videos up as soon as I can. I have them on my computer, but the next step will take some time.

I was on the left hand side of catwalk, about five (gates?) down. I yelled "Echoing the sound" somewhat loudly while waiting for the set to start, and no one responded to me =P

It's kind of obvious, but all merch was limited to two shirts per artist at a set price. Another band brought more, but they refused to put it up there.

I have hi-res versions of those pictures if someone wants them.

Light show was simply amazing. The echoplex live drum machine on the giant screen was super. The great destroyer made me wet my pants.

Im surprised no one commented on the disaster that was trying to get into the festival from the Pemberton airport. 7+ hours of hell! Well worth it though.

this question is for anyone who caught the 5 song soundcheck thursday night;

did anyone notice the tease at the end of the last song? First it was MOTP for a few seconds.. and then for a second or two... I caught what SOUNDED like Last... but it could have been Wish. It was so short and almost impossible to tell.... just curious if anyone else noticed that?

I had caught what I think was Head Down/Ghosts earlier in the day, but I was at the airport with my friends with the regular parking pass at the time...

Far as I know.. they never soundchecked Ghosts or Head Down.

It was the five songs (1,000,000, The Warning, Gave Up, The Great Destroyer, Echoplex) and then at the end of Echo they did like 3 seconds of MOTP... and like I said.. about 1 and a half seconds of what I thought was Last.

Nobody caught that? Im just going to assume it was Wish and stop it from haunting me.

31 Ghosts (and maybe Head Down) was played earlier in the day, I believe. I know they were doing soundchecks before the campsites opened too. They played the five songs later on, when I wasn't there.

edit: My article!
