Awesome show!

Just fucking brilliant. So much better than the Riverstage show a couple of years ago. You could tell Trent enjoyed it more too.

Hey dale did you get crowd-surfed out of there?

I got the feeling someone was a wittle tired of being on the road
alot of emotion went into that show as well from what I thought

Still was an awesome show however
alot more stripped back then other ones I have seen
Was waiting for a drunk festival douche to yell something out and raise trents ire but surprisingly never happened

and whats with Robs crazy face, is he back on the good stuff

Trents twitter updates about the show
# Emotionally charged show - internally. Lots on my mind. Bittersweet. And, hot and very difficult to not throw up for some reason. about 2 hours ago from TweetDeck

# I have no idea what just happened onstage. I'm going through something. about 3 hours ago from mobile web

was incredible

my third, and fave time seeing them

got sunburnt from the fucking lightshow though haha

trent seemed more positive about nin's future. said they were going on hiatus for a while and that he hoped to see us again.

reptile was the highlight for me, so powerful

real impressed by new drummer, drum tone is a lot deeper. robins backup vocals/screams were fantastic

real fucking wrecked now, think i'll sleep.

Is there a way to subscribe to a thread here without having to post? I was at this gig so apparently I'm allowed to post in this thread :D

Show was my first time seeing nin. Waited about 4th row from the front through Alice in Chains to get my spot expecting abit of crushing at the start but it was beyond stupidity and lasted way too long. Moved back abit and had heaps of room and Trent did not dissapoint playing my 2 favourite songs Something I can never have and La mer. Best song of the night for me was Head like a hole which was amazing. Despite not seeing Closer or Starfuckers I went away very happy.

Will upload my pictures later tonight, and will post links.
Also, what happened to the upcoming show thread for soundwave brisbane, was it deleted?

nice to see trent and co reaching leaving an imprint on nonbelievers as they always play headliner shows only in Aus usually

Yeah seems logical, both for NIN being that good and well the fact that i didnt see any other band at that festival that compared even slightly. Alice in Chains might of but then I remembered what they sound like and well their video projections were so tacky.

The show was great, it was awesome to hear rarities here like the Fragile, La Mer, the Downward spiral and Reptile.

I recorded some footage with my mobile phone but it's not the best... if you guys want, let me know and i'll upload it.

Did anyone go to the Valley train station afterwards?
That shit was packed out! I went there to get a kebab, and it appeared as though everyone from the festival was funneling through there, despite the fact that bowen hills station was heaps closer?!

How funny were the faces of the people seeing these hordes of muddy, sweaty, black clothed people all walking the same direction?? lol I just couldn't believe they didn't even have the toilets open at the station! That's just asking for trouble when you have that many drunk people.

I have pics up in the nin.com gallery. I've tried uploading video to youtube but it's playing up so I'll have to keep trying. I think there are already better videos on there than I got anyway.

the sound of the main stage at brisbane soundwave was really good, probably the best of all so far.

and was SO happy to get wish in the encore! that went off.

in general the festival was amazing. great venue, great crowd, lots of other great bands, everything was almost perfect.

p.s - a little of topic but did anyone make it out to stage 5? that was such an awesome little stage in the corner, amongst the trees and grass - had such a good vibe there.
