can't remember setlist... but - the big come down! i was hopin for it, got it, and it was fucking great.

i was surprised just by how aggressive and raw this stuff sounded. really awesome.
Master of the Ninth Arch
Nothing new in the set list it went something like:

1,000,000
Letting You
Discipline
March of the Pigs
Something I Can Never Have
Survivalism
Head Down
Terrible Lie
Burn
Gave Up
La Mer
The Fragile
Non-entity
The Downward Spiral
The Big Comedown
Suck

The Hand That Feeds
Head Like a Hole

Reptile

I may have the ordering slightly off, but thats pretty much what they played:)

Master Traveler
the big come down was after the downward spiral, i think
Master of the Ninth Arch
ahh yes, so it was:P

Wow, that was probably the best experience of my life. Amazing, relentless and so intense. Highlights would have to be Wish and THTF. I'm still recovering. Wow.
Bricklayer
That was awesome. First NIN concert, probably my only one now given recent developments. Was at the front and it simply blew my mind
Bricklayer
show was awsome, excpet for that dikhead behind me who kept pushing like even during lam er and stuff.
donward spiral was amazing live
Bricklayer
i hated that guy, wanted to deck him. but i decided to move.

Bricklayer

the band is just awsome.
"blow them backstage" haha
Bricklayer
That was gold lol
Hopefully some awesome audio surfaces.
Bricklayer
I take it our posts automatically add "What what in da butt" when an exclamation mark is used? Don't do a whole lot of posting here ha ha

What was cool though was the synth in Gave Up - that fucking rocked

Goddam incredible. I was expecting to be gyped out of Big Come Down and Suck, but they not only played them, they fucking rocked the bullocks off both of them. Only annoying things were the incredibly out of time clapping during the slow songs and this annoying little cunt behind me that kept screaming out shit like 'how about you play some decent songs' (after BURN for fucks sake) and 'you know you could be playing music right now' while trent dared to actually address the audience after hurt. It would be funny if she died. But other than that, great crowd, amazing light set up and fucking brilliant show all round.

Also, I vote that soundwave is a shitload better than big day out. Who's with me?

haha, the clapping during Hurt was pretty embarrassing. (la mer too) it was SO out of time then kinda sheepishly faded out. i cringed :p
Bricklayer
Soundwave was definitely better than the BDO
Less Assholes for a start.

And yes, the clapping was bad.
Checking out the video on Vimeo I am 100% positive that Perth was far, far more nuts and excited for NIN.... Will have to wait for the official Perth NIN upload to be sure - please?... :)

I cant remember what song I saw Rob(?) - maybe The Fragile or The Big Come Down. I was too busy going nuts and loving it.

Yes, far less assholes. Very good thing. People at Soundwave were there for the music instead of just to be seen like the greater proportion of people at BDO. Added bonus; no Ben Cousins wannabes. I fucking hate those guys.

Also, where'd you see Rob? (i'm assuming you mean Rob of the Sherridan variety) I was talking to a guy in the pit before it started who reckoned he saw Leo at some point during the day. I really wanted to meet him just to find out what (if anything) he does and find out how I can take his job.

Not sure where my post went? haha
But yeah - I don't think I will do the BDO again for that very reason.

I'm positive he (or someone else) was on stage with a camera - I cant remember when because I think I was too busy trying to stay on my feat..

rob was definetly on stage, he spent at least 5 mins on the left hand side on the railings, and he was wandering around on stage during wish (avoiding the many guitars on stage:P )

Hey, I think that was me! Was this when we were yelling the names of various NIN-associated personnel and talking about Meathead?

Also, Rob was on-stage filming Wish with Dillinger. He was sticking to the back half of the stage, usually a little in front of Ilan. Trent deliberately slammed into him at one point.
Bricklayer
Haha, yeah, that would be you man. Small world. Or maybe small isolated city.

Good to hear about Rob filming, Really hope that footage emerges soon. There's a decent clip on Youtube, but I'm sure this is gonna be much more awesome.
