Was it from the blonde chick that kept flashing everyone? She was rather distracting at the beginning of the JA set!deathundothee wrote: I practically received a lap dance from the girl in front of me, it was something else.
Fuck yeah! The woz!fuqua wrote:im fairly sure i saw steve wozniak in a vip box playing a gameboy, so i have that going for me...which is nice
She was indeed right there, I was standing about two rows back right in front of her...fuqua wrote: also pretty sure i saw yoko looking on from the side of the stage, the leash must not be too long, Oh Yoko!
He wasn't an all out smasher last night though. I remember at the begining of 1,000,000 he charged one of the keyboards on stage as if he was about to just hurl that thing into the crowd, but he only ended up nudging it slightly haha.Torgo wrote:HAHAHAHAHA.
For now - all I've got to say is that Trent mistakenly walked backwards into Robin's keyboard and it was HILARIOUS. He got so pissed afterward that he kicked a light.
Stories later after I catch up on sleep.
Oh and yes - I filmed EVERYTHING in HD. Probably will put up some songs tomorrow.
EDIT: Yeah - I'm definitely posting 'Piggy' first. Not only does Trent kick a light, he climbs on top Ilan's drums and pounds his microphone into his set. Trent smash.
I was afraid that despite singing about how nothing can stop him, the stage might end up being the ironic counterpoint to the song. [stolen from my post over at NIN.com]Torgo wrote:HAHAHAHAHA.

WHAT?! FFFFUUUUUUUUUU-Wretchedest wrote: The soundcheck was a huge tease, I wish I could have afforded it. From what I heard they tested:
Meet Your Master
The Good Soldier
I'm Afraid of Americans
Dead Souls
I was wondering the same thing too. I thought it was for traffic because I think we sat right where we were in the parking lot for nearly 25 minutes without moving.NINny wrote:lastly - circling helicopters are never a good sign - anyone know what went down? i'm curious....
That is just painful to hear.pushingreality wrote:WHAT?! FFFFUUUUUUUUUU-Wretchedest wrote: The soundcheck was a huge tease, I wish I could have afforded it. From what I heard they tested:

Thank you!TheBang wrote:The soundcheck was:
1. I'm Afraid of Americans
2. The Good Soldier
3. Meet Your Master
4. Dead Souls
5. I Do Not Want This (not played, saw it on the soundcheck setlist)
I recorded the whole soundcheck. It will go up on Dime, in time.
Trying this again (damn PC). I was a little behind on the presale tickets and was up in the 200 section with people that got confused at Fuqua's list above. SO STOKED to hear Metal played live and happy to hear the strong percussion on TDTWWA.fuqua wrote:ty for

Heh, reminds me of the person who found the NIN scavenger hunt prize in a cop car a while back. Maybe this guy never heard that the prize was already found.JessicaSarahS wrote:^^ That link didn't work, but I found it: http://www.mercurynews.com/localnewshea ... i_12437343

I couldn't help but notice that he voice sounded a lot raspier (in the "i'm losing it" sense) toward the latter half of the setlist. Anyone else have any thoughts on this, or am I just crazy?
Indeed! I have a few JA ones I have to throw up, but I'll get to that tomorrow.TheBang wrote:Nice pics, Drakh. Were you using your super long lens for the show?

I like how he uses the electronic... string... plucker... thingy... instead of actually jamming the strings. Nice effect there, emo Robin.
