So was I the only one there then?
The setlist was awesome. I can't remember it exactly, and the only one I can find online is from NME's rushed and completely inaccurate review. ("Last UK festival date ever"? "Terrible Life"? "I'm Scared of Americans"? o rly?)
I do remember there being a distinct lack of Closer, which I found very surprising, given the sort of people who might have wandered over to see them. You know, the ones that want to hear that "fuck you like an animal" song.
The crowd was small, but got even smaller throughout the set. I did think T in the Park was a weird choice of festival (I know it's trying to "diversify", but it always has been and always will be a pop festival) but hey ho.
Good atmosphere, though. For me it was a great gig, but I can imagine the band being somewhat underwhelmed by the turnout.

Didn't help they were playing at the same time the Killers were, who had an absolutely massive crowd. Just bad luck for the guys really, if they'd headlined that stage on Friday they'd have got a bigger crowd.

The crowd looked quite decent on the television - and weren't Manic street Preachers on at the same time too? Still looked a great set and performance.

My friend and I were both talking about that, and the way they angled the cameras made the crowd look about five times bigger than it actually was. And it was awesome. Somewhat was a major surprise and made me very happy. The steam rising off trent was amazing, the whole band were tight, and there was loads of emotion, mike stands and keyboards going by end of tl. The ting tings managed to fuck up ja and nins sets by being uber late, which meant we got cut off janes and nin went over on time, i was worried we wouldn't get full set and it kinda looks like we missed tbcd. Oh well. Was on the rail right in front of trent, and was awesome, definitly felt like i got eye contact during piggy, and during ja i caught navarros pick, and perry was definitely making eye contact so i had an uber fun time.
