Aw. I'm glad to hear that you got to see the show! My friends and I felt for you, but having no actual way to help you, we were just kind of silently hoping that you'd be able to check out nin in some capacity. At least, we were pulling far more for you than the dude offering $200, no, $300, no $400 for a ticket...analogvoid wrote:I thank everyone who was supporting me as I paced back and forth with my obnoxious neon-orange sign. Thanks to the guy who took a picture of me to spread the word online.

do you by chance discover you had explosive diarrhea with your hand? if so you should talk to maryelle...monkey arse wrote:I got explosive diarrhea and blood filled vomit after 5 songs and had to get pulled out.
Only because Trent didn't give anyone time to yell. Which sucks, because Meathead and I were planning to yell "Play 'Maybe Just Once'".Torgo wrote: that pause during Hurt was SILENT.
I'm not saying it was me, but judging by the video you shot I was right in that same area, and I am a dude ;). You can hear me yell "Something's gonna get broken!" just before they start playing Dead Souls in your video (silly, I know).Capital_M wrote:Good show, I had a BLAST in the pit. Ended up a couple people from the front on JMJ's side and had the coolest dude next to me, I wish I would have gotten his name.
I agree. I love how they transitioned between pieces without pause, something that I wish more rock bands could emulate the rave sensibility.icklekitty wrote: I found Health to be a lot better live than on record. In terms of sound (probably because I was close to a speaker) it was ear-shattering, but/and it was really interesting to watch the guys play with all their pedals and knobs and twiddlers with the knowledge that the only raw input was a guitar.
I know where Monkey was standing and it was far enough away that the Shit Hand couldn't have been him. It was either the girl next to me on the left or the one behind me. Not the girl on the right, in case she is ever reading this. She was a doll and smelled fine. I sure hope that chick had some hand sanitizer afterward to use before she touched anyone. It must have been under her fingernails. Disgusting.krist wrote:do you by chance discover you had explosive diarrhea with your hand? if so you should talk to maryelle...monkey arse wrote:I got explosive diarrhea and blood filled vomit after 5 songs and had to get pulled out.
It's nice to see I wasn't the only one who thought this. Wonderful shots on your page, BTW.maryelle wrote:
Guess what, you're not Scorsese with your little P&S camera and never will be, and your upraised arm takes up more than your fairly allotted space......And put the camera down sometimes.
The pause during Hurt everyone else is talking about was dead silent for a couple seconds. More than enough time, but thanks anyway for not yelling something stupid like that.Plastic Soul wrote:Only because Trent didn't give anyone time to yell. Read the whole thing here if you'd like.Around 5:30 or 6PM I was hot and sweating, the LA sun starting to make it’s way down behind some buildings. I had perched up near the end of the line, hoping any newcomers might have a spare ticket. I had gotten a few emails over the time while I was hunting for tickets. Some of them stated that they “might” have a ticket and “may” show up to the show at some point. I wasn’t betting on this. I decided to check Craigslist again.
“Two tickets and guest passes to the NIN show at Echoplex tonight for $1000. Call this number…”
