Added to the archive November 2013, at the moment this is not available for download. It will be shortly. This is one of the best sounding recordings I have ever heard. The first few seconds of "Somewhat Damaged" were not recorded.

Notes
For being recorded with the internal mics this is a great recording. I really cannot believe the sound quality with it.
Notes
ijwthstd did not just bring one rig in. He brought two! This is by far the best source of the night. Little to no crowd noise and it basically sounds like its a soundboard recording.

Fantastic recording. You can't even tell when they put in the other source on this recording as the DPA sources really sound identical. nyctaper faded both sources for a few minutes so it sounds as if its just one source. Great stereo separation on this recording. If you want to hear more NYC tapes check out http://www.nyctaper.com.
Notes
One of my favorite recordings. This is a MUST for NIN fans.

Its great to have a wonderful recording of the first time that the whole entire album of The Downward Spiral is played in its entirety. The only thing to say about this is that there are some people talking inbetween the songs which for tapers is probably the last thing you want to hear on a tape. A few sing-alongers, but this tape is great and you want this one if you pick up any live recording of NIN.

NINSlave's recording is also a fantastic recording. Webster Hall really pops out some great sound and there are no screamers or talkers around the taper in this one. Which ever of these recordings you pickup they both rock!

You can read about this project at the link above. A good amount of camera sources and the two great audio sources above were used for this release that is the whole Downward Spiral performance in its entirety.

Great recording. Since the room was so small this really is in your face with the music. Good stuff. The bass overloads in some spots but acidjack did a good job with EQ'ing this recording. NOTE: I have readded this recording to the archive on Sept. 2014. I have re-tracked the show because "Gone Still > The Downward Spiral > Wish" were all in the same track. Also, decoded and re-encoded to FLAC because the files could not be tagged without error.

There is a screamer apparent on the recording for the first 40 minutes. But after that they go away and the recordings is flawless.

This is another recording that was being sold on a japanese bootleg website and was liberated. Unfortunately no equipment info was given. This was released on DIME on 9/14/2009 and was supposedly soundboard. But with a further investigation and listen this is clearly an audience recording. There is way to much kick pedal bass present, but its still a fantastic recording and I can see why it could be thought of as a soundboard.

Great recording. All I can tell you about this recording is that it was liberated off a Japanese bootleg website just like the one above. This recording is different than the one above. They both are great sounding, but this one has more bass. This was recorded by New Tattoo records and is the 2nd disc of the "Why Would You Still Remember Me?" release.

This was being sold on a Japanese bootleg website and was liberated to hear. The show is complete and its from Trent's IEM. This recording also includes the beats within the track so it does get annoying to hear. The only reason that I post this on the source guide is because it is indeed a source. I would rather not go into any detail about IEM recordings. EDIT 01/18/2018: I figured that this has been off the archive for long enough. Especially since there are other ones just like it on the site. This was one of my favorites from the 2009 tour. Enjoy! (RJ)

Fantastic recording, one of the top 10 recordings from the 2009 tour so far. I am glad that the show with Gary Numan coming out has been well documented with a fabulous audio recording such as this.

Duke2004 reached out and sent me some sample of his recordings. I got his tape almost a year to the date of the samples. This recording is fantastic. I especially loved listening back to this one and hearing how clear Heresy's synth line was at the beginning and also Survivalism! Gary Numan coming out to do Metal and Cars must have been pretty special. Big thanks to Duke2004 for sharing this uncirculated recording.

Notes
Very good, maybe the signal ran a little hot at times and the source distorted very very slightly here and there. Once the rain started I had to cover my mics and thus the sound quality suffered a little.
Notes
11 Ft. up on a stand clipped on each side of Mr. Potato Head's glasses.
