I was hoping to receive the master tape copy at some point. But after a few years, I just decided to rip it from YouTube before is may be gone forever. This is the first source I have seen from this show. The audio is good and the video is average. Having somewhat of an obstructed view from the balcony. YouTube does a number on compression and I know that having a copy from the master tape would help the quality substantially. You can check out some of the other tapes that Gary has recorded by visiting the link above and over on Sacramento Music Archive. Shayne has been doing an incredible job digitizing Gary's video collection.

I've actually known about this tape for a handful of years. After never hearing back, I just never wanted to be somewhat of annoying in order to archive other taper's recordings. Neekrive started uploading their recordings over at archive.org and I was able to obtain it this way.
This is strictly for collectors only. Some cuts and this seems like it was recorded from the back of the venue and the mics muffled. I have been told that this person would record shows while being an usher at some of them. So the recordings would stop if they needed to speak with someone. Absolute legend. They have a trove of recordings they have done over the years and it is simply impressive how many. As it is easier to record moments nowadays, back then, this was a lot more difficult and we must tip our hats to people like neekrive who wanted to document performances.
