This is one of the best recordings of the club tour. Boldcaptain does an amazing job capturing 04/05/06 Coachella festivals (I.E.- Kraftwerk 04) Very clear recording and just amazing.

Another fantastic recording done by anonymous. This recording was finally released in September 2014. Big thanks to BLG for digging out this DAT master from a friends house to give this recording a proper home here at the archive!

First recording released of the 2005 tour. It was downloaded almost 10,000 times. Great recording and one of the best from the club tour.
Notes
I have crossed referenced this recording with the other FM broadcasts that are out in circulation, these are the exact same recordings but with less crowd noise. I would have to assume, that more than likely, this is a pre-fm version of the recording. All of the other versions of the FM broadcast have "Head Like a Hole" fade in later in the track. This version is complete.

Notes
This recording is being re-released as this was transferred digitally. The initial transfer of acc123456's recordings were all analog out on their MD deck. The reason I know this is because acc gave me the raw transfers of all the recordings that he did over the years and you could hear the beep when you hit play on the MD player. There is a difference in quality between the two. You can hear a lot more hiss in the first transfer, which I would assume is from the noise floor of the deck or running out the analog jack. This difference can be heard during "The Frail" if you compare the two transfers. Not to mention, the newer transfer sounds clearer in terms of bass.

One of the best recordings on the Fragility Tour. This show was highlighted on RITC's NIN Recording of the Week!

Great recording, newly transfered from the Master DAT in Dec. 2009.

The MSG video is probably my favorite from the Fragility Tour just because of the great 2 cam work and audio recording incorporated in this. Not to mention the guest appearance of Manson, which is pretty cool. Filmed from the rear/dead center and the left side of the upper bowl. This looks like the job of NYCBC. But I am not 100% sure.

A lossless recording of this surfaced a few years ago thanks to nympholept.
Notes
One of the best recordings I have ever heard. Sometimes the bass is a little overpowering, but the crowd is hardly even there. I hope we can learn a little bit more about this recording and who taped this. I would really want to know what they used. This recording was highlighted on RITC's Recording of the Week.

Not the same taper as night 1, even though they used the same equipment. Unknown taper. Would love to have more info on this tape, if possible.

I originally had this on the archive as a DAT clone in 16/48 format. But in 2018 TH reached out to me and sent me the DAT master at the end of 2019. Come to my surprise as I popped the master tape into the deck, it read as LP mode. So when TH cloned their master, they didn't keep it in the same bitrate. The master tape also had almost 45 minutes of preshow and about 30 minutes after the show. All of that has been edited from this to only include the performance. No EQ was done to this recording, only normalizing it prior to tracking. Very cool to be able to transfer the DAT myself. Great recording. Although very similar gear, the other shows were recorded by other tapers. This was the only show TH attended.

Duke2004 was kind enough to get these out of storage and send them my way. We have traded in the past during my Depeche Mode days of trading. He taped a lot of shows up until 2010 and I had no idea he did so many Nails recordings. This Brixton recording is definitely the best of the whole Fragility 1.0 Europe leg!

Notes
Fantastic audio from the brief club shows in Europe. Hardly any crowd noise in this recording. FULLMETAL let me borrow his master tape to transfer myself. Initially, we had a 1st gen DAT on the archive. Nice to have a master DAT rip. The DAT clone that was on here initially had fade in/outs added by the taper. This is from the master DAT, so this is longer (~4 min). The recording now starts at the first basslines of "The New Flesh." Show was recorded in 16/44.
Notes
Good recording, sometimes a bit heavy on the kick bass. But very clear recording. Highlighted on RITC's NIN Recording of the Week.

This was shot by Nothing Records for promotional use. It was transferred to VHS and distributed that way. Great recording, the audio from above is ripped from this VHS promo. Shot from the rear balcony with nice wide angles and some good close ups. Great that there is one source from this 1996 tour!

JEMSHQ reached out to me about a Nine Inch Nails/David Bowie recording I have not seen. There is one other source I know about from this date, so it is very exciting to see another recording from the JEMS archive of NIN (and Bowie) as they are known for their quality of recordings. This one is no exception. A very good, clear recording of the end of the Outside Tour. Very thankful for the JEMS crew reaching out to share this one with the archive. Always amazing to see tapes be unearthed after 20+ years of being unplayed!

What a treat to add another uncirculated audience recording to the archive over 20 years since this tour ended. Thanks to erikdenning over on DIME to post this for the archive. As noted, this is a DAT clone that was done in LP mode (32 kHZ). Bowie's set was not recorded. The tape is pretty good and complete! Right before 'The Becoming' the taper swapped from 'mic in' to 'line in' which helps boost the sound and it becomes less distant. Erik does not remember who taped it. But that he did go to their house to aquire the the tape in a swap.

Fantastic recording. This is the same recording that is used in the silver CD version called "Oddball Couple". But this is the complete version. Don has taped many shows and this is still one of his favorite shows he has ever been to.
